Such a disappointment....needed sleep, got very little. We stay at Fairfields all over the country. This one doesnt deserve to call itself part of the chain. We stayed at this one July 26th, 2020. No mask on clerk to begin the experience. First room we got key for was already occupied.!! Next room we had to take elevator to get to. Scarey ride as it creaked all the way ...we took the stairs every time after that. The beds were Sooooo hard. I pulled back bottom sheet to find NO mattress pad! Mind you, we had just stayed at a Fairfield Inn in another state the night before , and the bed and pillows were the standard good quality we were accustomed to from this chain. The cheap pillows in this property caused me to go to my car at 1am and retrieve my own traveling pillow in hopes I could get comfortable. The room had a mere 2 bath towels.(there were 2 of us in the room). There was no microwave. At check-in there was no mention made of breakfast offerings. I complained to the clerk twice during our one night stay...he seemed unmoved. Told me to write a review. So here it is. Drive by this one. You wont get the normal Fairfield experience here.

We stayed on 6,000 points. Didnt expect the water park to be included, but it was. Breakfast was included. The room was clean and comfortable. Its a Marriott property. Never before, and probably never again, have we received so much for so little. A++

I was very disappointed with this hotel. We were on the third floor and the whole entire floor as soon as you stepped out of the lobby it was like a hundred degrees just the third floor it was so hot and muggy you can barely breathe walking from your room to the elevator. Breakfast was supposed to be a hot breakfast and it was not there was a tiny little cooler with a few yogurts some cereal and a bowl of fruit. The trash outside was overflowing. Not all of the water slides were working. There was no tubes for the lazy river. The price we paid for this room was ridiculous for what we received!

They gave our room away. Booked a King with bathtub, sofa sleeper, and microwave. We just got a dtandard room. When asked why we were not getting the room we booked they said we booked through a third party website and they dont necessarily honor those. Told me I should have called tgem and booked directly through them.

Extremely clean with great attention to detail! The water park has two slides, a lazy river, a pool, a hot tub, and a toddler splash pad area. Very nice staff. Would recommend!

The room I was in needs a new mattress. It sunk in when you laid on it. The front desk associate took 30 mins before he came back to the desk and we arrived wanting to go to bed and had to wait for his return. No towels available at the pool and no to go breakfast available. Recommend mattress protectors to prevent bed bugs

Beds were hard. Woke up with back aches both nights.There was no hot breakfast like promised. Only cereal and muffins.Pretty sure our hygiene products were half used.We asked for extra pillows when making the reservation and recieved none.The water park was disappointing. The hot tube was colder then then the pool and filled overboard with chemicals One waterside was down too but there were no signs warning of it. Seems like a hazard. They also had buckets of paint and ladders everywhere in the swim areas. definitely dangerous and sketchy.

The water park is open, nice little breakfast to grab and go. Very quiet and close to many ammenities.

My bike was stolen off of my car despite having three locks on it. The hotel does not have cameras covering the front of the parking lot. I would not stay at this hotel again.

SUPER friendly staff. Clean hotel and very organized. It includes breakfast every morning and its been the best we have had at any Marriott so far. It also has an inside water park for both kids and adults. So cool!

Hotel is nice, basic, pool is fun. The kiddos love it and you are able to just come use the pool and not stay for a small fee. There is not a life guard. Staff is average. The front desk staff wasn’t enthusiastic to see me come or go, so not exceptional for sure.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Stay here 3 weeks and always put kids above me and wont move me either. They wont control the noise. I will not be retuning to this place ever again

We liked that it was advertised that this property had a water park and game/arcade room. We payed almost double for this hotel because of the amenities for our kids. We are angry that after arriving, we found out that half of the water park was shut down, and the working part was in serious disrepair-missing features, rusted, and broken. There was even scaffolding outside under one of the slides that we saw after our kids had been using it. The game room does not even exist. The hotel staff was quiet, confused, and unhelpful. The breakfast seemed like it offered a lot, but it really didnt. It was meh at best with no potato option.

We loved our stay at your hotel. Very friendly staff, great water park to entertain the grandkids, beds were comfortable. Overall a great experience! Will definitely stay here again. Thanks to a wodeful staff!

The beds were not acrid queen sized. They were closer to a double. They were comfy, but smaller... Great breakfast, waffles, sausage eggs muffins, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal... Clean.

The place was very clean. The hallways were too hot, though and the staff were professional, but not very friendly. I would stay there again, though because its a nice place and they gave me a break on my room because I booked the wrong night. Not too many hotels would do that!

Hotel needs an update in furnishings. Breakfast was ok, no toaster for the bagels. Hotel is too warm inside. Mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable.

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn for our sons baseball tournament. The hotel was in the perfect location for our stay. Easy to get to the baseball field and right in the middle of all the things we needed for our trip.

Kids loved the pool, water slide. Had to ask for towel every time we went.

Warning photos are graphic.....During our stay at this hotel, our 6 year old son had a head injury from the pool slide. There was a sharp metal piece sticking out from the top of the slide and when my son went down this metal piece sliced open his head. As a result we took him to the local clinic where he received staples in his head. After our insurance company took care of almost the entire bill, there was still a small balance. I asked the hotel general manager (Vlad) to cover the rest of the bill and after over a year of no returned emails or calls from the general manager or corporate office I finally paid the bill. When something major happens there was absolutely no customer service from anyone at this hotel or with their corporate office! Beware!

Poor upkeep! Mold in the room, ceiling was drooping down! Dirty ! Never staying here again! Could use a major cleaning, upkeep!

Called in reservation month in advance, requested sweet with enclosed bedroom from living area to accommodate my family. Was told at reservation room was booked. At check the room was not available and could only get a regular sweet with open living and bedroom. Staff worked hard and scrambled to accommodate. Best they could do was get us a second room close to sweet to accommodate my families sleeping needs. Turned out to be great having the second room for separation of kids, naps, and quiet place for family to get away to. Greatly appreciate staffs efforts to make my family’s stay much more enjoyable and comfortable for all of us!

The rooms are clean and comfy. The pool was fun, however, it would be great if they did not rent out all of the space for birthday parties. Both nights we were there, there was 3 to 4 birthday parties happening. This caused overcrowding in the pool. Hotel guest were asked to get off of the tables and chairs they were using to give to the birthday parties. Even the tables and chairs not labeled for parties. It was mayhem in the pool with no enforcement of the rules. Teenagers pushing little kids down the slide, large groups of kids going down the slide at once. Over 25 people in the hot tub with a capacity of 10. We saw no less than 3 bloody noses from the horseplay. They seem to care more about the birthday parties than they do their guests at the hotel.

I stayed in room 308, easy check in, quiet and clean. If you have kids, this hotel has a water park. It is right in the middle of food and shopping. I was impressed with the breakfast, coffee, all types of juice, omelets, oatmeal, cereal, toast, bagels, sausage, ham, not to mention all the fixins! Will definitely stay again.

Its a great year round place to take the kids swimming, However there is no life guard or anyone helping with safety down the slides I had to go down the slides with my daughter so the other kids would run into me and not her.

Ordered a two queen suite online through their website with a hide-a-bed, when we arrived we were told none were available. Ended up in a two double room, which was clean. The front desk person seemed a little lost (had a hard time solving problems) and the complimentary water looked decidedly murky. The water park was great, even though one of the two large slides was not working. No pool towels were provided, though the front desk attendant said they were in the water park. There was also a shady junk car (silver mirage) parked under the entrance the entire time we were there which made me a bit uncomfortable. The hotel is brand new and comfortable, but does not seem well attended.

Worth modifying your travel route to include this Fairfield in Gillette Wyoming. Seriously, if you want to impress the family, this hotel includes a pool and two waterslides. One of the water slides allows innertubes to go down in. (supplied by the hotel). Breakfast was just what you needed prior to going out sightseeing the surrounding landmarks. The hotel is of course up to Marriotts high standards. This hotel was a lot of fun - a highlight of the trip.

The Fairfield Inn in Gillette is an average hotel. The hotel was clean and well maintained. There were no positives or negatives really.

From my point of check-in to check-out, the staff showed beyond exceptional hospitality during my stay. Convenient to restaurants and grocery stores. They even had a water park attached to the hotel! Thank you for the comforting stay! I will be back.

Hvac would not cool my room even after adjustment. There was some sort of stain on the floor and the toilet was a struggle to get to flush. No usb charging ports. No outlets easily excessable on the night stands next to the bed.

Picked this hotel because the website advertised a great pool spot. The pool area is pretty filthy. The stairs have gum all over them, and look like they haven’t been cleaned in years, the big yellow slide is broken and the water for the regular pool was FREEZING. Used to be Way better, but now it’s just nasty.

We had been told the rooms had Queens (not twins when we made reservations) When checked in I approached the front desk about the issue....they seem to indicate I was not telling the truth.alsoFrom the time we checked in until we checked out the hotel was without any water service for the exception from 8:30 pm till 11:30pm at which point the Hotel fire alarms went off in the middle of the night and again in the early morning.

The waterpark is in very poor condition. They only have 2 slides but one has been broken for quite sometime. I read about it in another review and thought well it should be fixed by now. The basketball hoop was missing it only had the bank board. The hot tub was missing the knob that turned the jets on. Ask at the front desk to use it and they will turn on the switch to override it. Front desk staff acted as if this was the first time they had heard about it. They had a lazy river but they only had maybe ten tubes for the slide and the lazy river. So when there are around 30 people that night not everyone could enjoy it. This is a waterpark shared by two hotels they should be able to maintain the area. Just very disappointed.

I came to Gillette from casper to do some training for cyclone drilling and brought the family along to play in the water park. We had an excellent stay. Staff was super amazing. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel was super clean and organized. We felt right at home.

The water park needs serious updates and repairs. Kiddie pool was down(led to a disappointed 2 yo), half the pool tubes were deflated and there was no towels on the two racks in the pool area. Staff is undertrained and seemingly unsupervised as they were doing what they wanted(on the phone and bringing kids to work with them). Rooms were ok but need some updates. Vending machines and market are not stocked well

Chose this hotel specifically for the water park. The water park was barely functional with several features broken or not working right. The pools were disgusting with floating particles and slimy walls that left residue on hands and feet. Our bathing suits smelled terrible afterwards. The rooms were very small with small TVs and uncomfortable memory foam beds. The only good think was the young lady working the desk as she was very polite and friendly. The breakfast was pretty good as well.

The hotel was just ok. We normally stay at Fairfield Marriott hotels and this one was not our favorite. The room was a little out dated but as with all Fairfield hotels, Breakfast was awesome! The wifi did not work either in the hotel. There was a card in the room and said if there was problems to call this 1-866 number. So I did, got put on hold and was given no solution other than we would have to go without and they will send in a repair ticket. Also not a huge deal but there were no recycle cans available but the area promoted recycling!

Fairfield Inn in Gillette, Wyoming was the quietest hotel we have ever stayed in. We enjoyed all aspects including the water park. We were, however, disappointed that the water park was opened to the public. The evenings were very busy with swimmers having birthday parties. Our morning swims were much less crowded.

We have stayed at Fairfield/Marriott Hotels in the past. Cannot be beat for cleanliness and great staff.

I have never previously experienced a hotel where ALL the staff were consistently smiling and things like breakfast and check in were available before the scheduled time. Location is convenient too. Very pleasant stay, would highly recommend.

The included access to the Watrr Park is the draw here if you have kids. Like most hotel breakfasts...too much fat and sugar.... need healthier options like real eggs, wheat toast, fiber cereal, whole wheat bagels etc. low fat/low sugar yogurt.

Had to stay here after a cancellation on our flight. It was a nice hotel, nothing too special. The lobby felt very luxurious and the breakfast was better than most hotel breakfasts

The adjacent water park at this hotel makes it a great family facility. The hotel is located near shopping, many restaurants, and other attractions. It is also easily accessible from I-90 and Highway 59. Check in was a breeze with very courteous and professional staff. Our room was ready upon arrival and was well-appointed and clean.

Only stayed 1 night on our way thru but it was a very nice place.

Room was neat and clean. Hotel, parking lot, pool area clean and appeared to be well kept. I only interacted with the evening employee, and she leaves a lot to be desired. She seems to need additional training, better supervision or perhaps another line of work that she does not have to deal with the public is in order.Breakfast was hot and fresh (although we did eat breakfast shortly after 7am).No check out required as the bill was left at my room earlier in the morning.

If you are a well traveled businessperson looking for an upscale, well-managed, exceptionally clean and sparkling new property---- this is the place for you! I was impressed as soon as I walked into the hotel. A nicely designed and contemporary hotel. I was very impressed with my room as well.. The room was very clean, bright and comfortable. I love Marriott hotels and this one sure fits the Marriott standard. Excellent breakfast, so many items to choose from. If you are frequent traveler you need a Marriott rewards card and you need to use Marriotts program. it is so much better than priority club and Hiltons club, in the end the rewards members are treated so well. I also use the Springhill suites in Cheyenne-- another great property! I plan on using this Gillette Marriott property every week! Finally, Gillette has a business class hotel. I brought my wife with me and she loved it and I am sure tourists will love it too.

The Gillette Fairfield Inn & Suites provided us with a very comfortable night after a long days drive. The staff was very friendly & accommodating even suggesting a near by restaurant for dinner which provided us with a delicious steak. We will be staying at this hotel the next time we pass through Gillette, WY.

We visit our son in law, daughter and their family frequently. We always stay at Fairfield Inn in Gillette. So much so, that our grandchildren have dubbed it Papas Hotel. They love the Water Park. The staff is always friendly, courteous and accommodating. The beds are comfortable. This is important to us because of my wifes back problems. The complimentary breakfast is a very good value. The hotel provides a good variety and the food is kept fresh.
