The most magical experience ever! The host and hostesses cater to you as soon as you walk in the door....the cast could have been right off Broadway...singing, dancing, the use of props, their acting genius and the set coordination and design are unmatched! The whole experience was captivating leaving you breathless to want more. I was moved and inspired by the brilliance of the performance. Mary Poppins flying through the air, the chimney sweep walking on the ceiling from a cast of at least 30 dressed for the times in colorful fashion one musical number after the next, with amazing singing ability! The mean nanny scaring the audience, to the statues coming to life...mouths were hanging at the chimney sweep musical number! Well thought out, stupendous all around! Bravo! Cant wait to see the next one! Your biggest fan....

Quaint old style theater, I sat on the front row with a great view, but it looks like even balcony seats have a great view. The lobby is small, but does have a small concession. I did not have to use the facilities, so cannot speak about them. I am definitely getting a season pass to see all the great shows that they out on. My friend was in The Buddy Holly Story , and it was the first show Ive seen at the theater. Not gonna be the last.

Been there several times now just love this place. When your looking for something to d you should try it. Something different and they all work at it to create a pleasant experience. Some shows are better then others but still a good afternoon when you add lunch in town.

Some friends and I performed here as part of a talent show. The Theatre is old but charming. The seating is adequate for a fairly decent size group. We had a lovely time and the rental was reasonable.

We saw Forever Plaid. Great tunes. It was very good for a little local theater with local actors. Had some good humor along with the music. I rated it 4 because one of the singers couldnt quite hit his notes. Very enjoyable evening! We will go again. Georgetown is blessed to have this theater.

So much fun at their outdoor movies

We love The Georgetown Palace Theater. Its comfortable, modern, and super clean. The employees are always very friendly. Free refill on the largest size popcorn and drink. Woohoo! The best part? The local ads they play before the movie.

I love this then venue. We attend a play at least once a year. Convenient and absolutely beautiful at Christmas time.

Walked in to just check it out for future shows and since two seats were still open we decided to take them and check the theater out and we for sure are coming back. The “show” we just seen was “a Christmas Story” and it had a mixed group of People in it (it looked like the youngest where 5 year old and the oldest in there 70, NOT that that is bad THAY WHERE ALL GREAT!!!)

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the production that we saw. Since Id seen the movie version, I was afraid my expectations would be much too high for a relatively small town production, but that was not the case. The acting, singing, and choreography were excellent, and our whole group enjoyed the show!

Finally made it to the Palace for Sister Act and WOW was not disappointed!!! Terrific acting, singing, dancing, production, and anything else I forgot! Definitely worth supporting those gem so they can continue creating quality theater! 10/10 will be back!

Its a small, intimate performance space... Every seat had an excellent view of the stage. You have a very good view, no matter where your seat is !

Wonderful childrens camps, shows and incredibly astounded and in love with their inclusion program. Its something to be proud of. Specifically, Palace, you should be proud that you offer free or affordable programming. Parents of kids with ANY special needs, see a lot of bills associated with it. Medication, therapy, counseling etc... This may not be for every child, but thats ok, its amazing to have choices and not have to say no because of cost! My child can have the much needed additional social experience without having to weigh the cost factor.

Great community theatre! Also has an amazing education program. Plays to its strengths and knows what is community wants!

Attended a few shows here and love this venue. I particularly like the balcony and the size of the theater. The quality of the performances have always been top notch. I look forward to enjoying more shows here.

I took my daughtrt-in-law and we met a group of ladies to see Evita. It was wonderful! The acting and singing were ex exceptional. I am very impressed with the talent I have seen displayed while attending events in this beautifully restored ve ue. Many are sold out.

Saw A Christmas Carol put on by the community theater group. The musical was outstanding. Cast was professional and well rehearsed. The staging was very well done. I highly recommend seeing this if there are seats available. I look forward to other performances.

The Palace is fan-freaking-tastic! Every show they put on is top notch quality. They may technically be a community theatre, but their production quality is five star. One of my favorite places to be!

My Family and I have made a tradition of going to a play here during December every year for several years now. We have enjoyed this place tremendously. The actors and actresses work hard to perform in these plays and we are always excited to see what they do the following years. We will continue to go there for years to come. Love it!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the musical Rock of Ages. The production was done amazingly well. Wed highly recommend seeing any of their productions. Thank you for an excellent evening.

Great shows to see excellent talent!

Seen xanadu....Joseph & the incredible best musical award winner rock of ages last yr here & ready for Mary Poppins this summer and the 2018-19 announcement whenever thats coming. The place is a gem though. Excellent talent great sightlines. Some technical issues like microphones going out or the performers being drowned out by music sometimes but that stuff is very minimal. Totally worth it if youre a fan of good local theater.

Just saw my third fantastic show at the Palace last night! Highly highly recommend, the quality of the shows is fantastic, great evening, great fun and the Georgetown Square setting is a bonus! The amount of work and talent in these shows is really quite astonishing and has been far, far exceeding my expectations!

My grandchildren were involved in their schools production of Annie and it was performed at The Palace! We loved the atmosphere and the quaintness and intimacy of the theater. The folks were so kind and accommodating! Without a doubt, the theater helped make this production better and the sold out crowd loved it! A huge thank you to everyone at the theater!

Georgetown Palace Theater in Georgetown, TX is the place to go for entertainment. The Palace has such historical significance and beauty that your theater going experience starts the moment you walk up the to the entrance doors! The plays there have always been fabulous and well-performed, usually by local actors. I have taken many guests there and they have always left feeling like they were extra, extra special.

Shows are of mixed quality, some fantastic, some are actually just bad with off-key singing and acting. For $30+ a ticket, not really worth it.

My daughter and I went there for The Little Mermaid a couple weeks ago. The seating was a little low for a small child if the person in front of them was an adult, but my 3 yr old was having the time of her life regardless. Refreshments were available and reasonably priced, and they had good kid snacks (gummies) available. The bathroom situation was a little tenuous, but I have rarely seen a theater that doesnt have a long line for the intermission bathroom.

Great venue, have been to a number of the musicals this season. Reasonably priced seating. Vocal quality of casts is hit and miss, but this is amateur theatre, not Broadway. Joseph and his technicolor dreamcoat was the strongest by far.Reasonably priced drinks and snacks available during intermission.

This venue has plenty of seating for school plays and other theater performances. And its right in the heart of Georgetown which has a ton of restaurants within walking distance.
