My mom and I took my children to see Snow White a couple of months ago! It was awesome. We can’t wait to go back. We honestly had a great time. The Theater is beautiful and everyone there was so nice! I advise anyone that has an opportunity to go to the Strand Theater to see anything don’t let the moment pass you by, go. You will be so glad you went. It is a great experience.

The Strand Theater on Front Street in Georgetown is a beautiful and historic theater in the middle of everything and provides a good experience as an event venue. I like the design and feel of the theater and how everything is organized. This place has a unique vibe that is fun to experience as everything has been well preserved and taken care of over the years. I had a good time here and was happy to be able to be a part of it.

Classic theater that has movies and live shows

This is a classic 1950 movie cinema. You need to check the whats being shown as they only show movies a couple of times a week. The chairs are super comfortable. It is well worth a visist.

Real home town feel and permanent home of The Swamp Fox Players and Stand Cinema. Currently showing a tribute to Carol Burnette and 4 unusual movies.

Loved the production Sylvia. Actors were fantastic and funny. A truly wonderful outing.

The seats arent the best. They dont recline at all. Otherwise its a good theater.

Step back in time and visit this treasureMy first visit to Georgetown while living in Little River SC we came for a performance at the Strand Theater had dinner drinks and decided to spend the night. Had breakfast and found a realtor a year later we moved in.Ended up moving to Georgetown we loved it so much!

I absolutely love this place. The shows are creative and funny. The volunteers and staff are always wonderful and pleasant. Its worth every penny to go here, whether for the movies or a play!
