The surrounding neighborhood is past its prime , but the park is beautiful . The old stonework is something you will never see constructed today . Its gorgeous , and tranquil. It always amazes me how absolutely spotless the metro park services keep this place . If a leaf hits the road its gone within the hour . Its hard to describe how well they keep the grounds . Always very populated . You will only find this place empty at 4 am in a tornado

Very peaceful and serene park. A warmth came over me as I made entrance and immediately greeted by water and bridge. As there were people about in the park I still felt I was the only one there. Very self fulfilling!

A decent hike for the city. There are lot of people on the paved trail loop but there are smaller trails that lead into the park where there are some old bridge/dam ruins. I saw lot of unique birds throughout the area. This park was clean and well maintained.

Used to feel safe roaming this park as a kid. No way Id ever allow children to go unattended here. Beautiful park but crime ruined it. They dont even have home days anymore, the 4th of July carnival. Sad. Bring mace if you plan on going into this park and maybe even knives or some sort of self protection. Ive been followed, stalked, here, so do not go alone.

Staple park for our family with a great series of trails! Plenty of areas for grilling with tables, benches, and pavillions throughout the park. There are restrooms that are wheel chair accessible and portapottys. A series of swings and workout stations are organized around the trails paved area that surrounds a nature trail for those more interested in nature walking and hiking!Great Park in the Cleveland area!!

Such a great place to get out and walk and get some air. They have little trails to walk and a creek that flows through. It’s really quite and peaceful! But also be careful too! There’s been a lot of ppl getting mugged at the park lately, so if you are walking, please don’t walk alone in any park. It’s not safe no more to walk alone.

This is a place of peace and tranquility. Its a nice place to come and walk and get away from the trappings of living in an urban environment. The park is very beautiful. It boasts streams and woods. The wildlife is always an added treasure to see. I am truly grateful for this little piece of heaven neatly tucked in the middle of a city.

Have hiked lots in the Cleveland Metroparks but, this was our first visit to this park. It had great options for a few trails and if you link them together right you can also make a nice long walk without risking getting lost. We also hope to return sometime and take advantage of the great picnic spots.

Pretty place to take a breath! We went by ourself and we just walked as much as we could, relaxing, enjoying all the green stuff until we walked next to a skunk by accident and he tried to follow us so we had to scape jajaja We saw a deers family too and they were so calm with us walking right next to them. I really like this place , we went at 7pm and was completely empty.I just didn’t like that was a huge “picnic/party” on the red oak area with really loud music, but really loud and the deers were close.Anyway if you are free and you want to do something is a nice place to get lost for a while.

One of the best Metroparks in Cleveland! Besides the fancy stonework of the old boathouses, its the urban locale that opens up possibilities. From the entrance you can run up a staircase to Henry road, or you can run towards Turney road in the center of Garfield Heights. Running down Turney will also take you to Mill Creek, where Broadway and Turney intersect. More mileage for your feet to gobble up! Also at the park itself, underneath the Henry bridge, youll find that an entire road was converted into a footpath, so its doubly wide, and gives plenty of elbow room inside the forest. Also, there are 2 separate paths to take inside. Enjoy!
