Very nice place. Come during the school day and you get the whole place to yourself. Very nice staff. One of the slides was down and they worked hard to get it working for just our family of 4. We were totally the only ones there for awhile. Very nice changing facilities estrooms. Bring your own towels for the water park. The slides are not to bad for small kids who are terrified, pretty mild slides. Very good place

Great water park! The slides are quite tame (I hate thrill rides) The lazy river is quite relaxing, and the waves are unique. The hotel rooms are nice, and the price is great. The staff is super friendly, but care about safety. The only problem is that the rafts tend to get stuck on the Blue and Yellow slide. Other than that, it is a 5 star experience!

What a fun oasis within Kansas! A totally affordable weekend getaway, attached to one of the nicest hotels Ive ever been in. It features 4 large slides (2 with inflatables, two without) plus a lazy river, climbing wall behind a waterfall, kid play areas, splash pads, party rooms, a Cafe, an arcade, etc...! Its a fun option for families within a few hours drive, with plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Its clean, well-managed, and warm even during the winter. If youre staying at the hotel, then you get a major discount as well!

Place wasnt very busy we were there at exactly 11 a.m right when it opened. On Tuesday its just $10, so we got lucky regular price is $30 if youre over 48 on hight,so I ended up paying $17 for two plus a locker! My daughter and I loved the slides a lot..

Call ahead before going here. The prices are different depending on day, time, and season (like the difference between $10 per person and $30 per person). The larhe water slides and lazy river are only open during certain times which is confusing. The arcade has free play time and none-free play time which is even more confusing. We arrived on a Tuesday at 11am. We paid less but didnt get to use the water slides and lazy river till 4pm. The place was clean and kept up. The staff were friendly. We stayed all day and were the only customers. There are 4 large slides that were pretty cool (two wrapped around outside and one had a funnel). There is a rock climb, basket ball hoop, childrens splash playground with water slide, toddler pool, lazy river, and leaping pads. There is a snack shop that runs about $4 for pretzels and $3 for hotdogs. They do serve some alcoholic beverages (I was given a complimentary none alcoholic drink). There are lifeguards. Lockers cost extra. My kids were happy.

LOVE this water park! But BEWARE, there is special pricing is only available at the desk this Summer 2019! Website price is $30 at desk its $20. I also dont recommend the package deal to stay at Heritage. Its definitely a rip-off. Stay at another nice hotel with real breakfast and better pricing. Also, no outside food is allowed inside, including water!! You have to either drink the nasty tasting fountain water or buy from their snack bar.

We went for spring break 2019. Nice little facility. My 4yo twins had fun. Great area for small children and older kiddos. Clean. I like that most everything is done by wristband, you get into your locker that way instead of having to carry around keys. Only complaint is that the concession stand is WAY WAY over priced. $9 for pizza.and a drink. $9 for some carrot sticks. Small bag of chips is $3. So eat before you go, unless you dont kind spending extra on concession food.

We had an amazing time until it was time to leave. We were showering and the employees kept knocking on the door. I could see it if was 8:20pm but it was 8:02 and they were trying to kick us out at 7:45pm. Very rude. There was 2 adults 1 kid and 1 toddler trying to get showered and changes. We pay loads of money to swim and they cant wait for us to take a fast shower. We will not be going back for a while and we will be telling family and friends not to stay there when they come.

I am local and this was my first experience at Parrot Cove.I cant justify paying their normal prices, so I was happy to see discounted pricing for the summer. We took advantage of the discount, although they still expect a non swimming guest to pay full price. (Which is not mentioned on any of their advertising)My kids are young (oldest is 5), and I thought the lifeguards found it entertaining to blow the whistle at my kids. I understand the need for safety, but it was a bit over the top. My 5 year old (she could touch the bottom and was wearing a puddle jumper!) got in trouble for just being in the water while I was helping my 3 year old across the floating lily pads. The concession stand does not take cash. I was told to go out to the front desk to put $8 on my wrist band for a $7.35 purchase. I asked what happens to the change left, they said If you dont use it, you lose it. I decided to swim back over and get my debit card, but since they have no pin keypad they have you sign the receipt with your wet hands...seems like there could be an easier way that wont screw you out of extra money, ever heard of cash? Prices were a bit high for small snacks. Despite this, the concession staff was nice. (Earns 1 Star)The layout of the waterpark was cramped and smaller than I expected. The nice bit was that it is indoors, so you dont have to lather on the sunscreen. (Earns 1 Star)I dont plan on having a 2nd visit to Parrot Cove.I would recommend putting on a bit of sunscreen, and go to another local waterpark. (that will let you bring your own cooler with drinks and snacks)

We enjoyed our stay at Hertigage Inn and Parrot Cove! The water park was great for our small family! We have two small children, who couldnt do the large slides but there were small slides and the lazy river for them...we spent an entire Saturday afternoon til about 530pm.There were quite a few people there, but didnt feel crowded. A lot of the groups/folks started heading out about 4pm. Im curious to check it out for late afternoon or during the week.I know our family will be back!

The young people seem to love it! It is alot smaller than it looks in the advertisement. There should be more chairs around, maybe, outside the pool area for us people not swimming. The life guard was not paying attention and letting kids go down the slide whenever they wanted so kids kept running into each other, it was a mess

If I could give this place no stars I would. Drive almost 4 hours to get here. I called ahead to make sure we get the Tuesday discount, was told yes. Get here, with 5 kids and they are charging me regular price because the surrounding schools are on spring break. After a ten minute wait i talk to the manager. She offers no help, and says there is nothing she can do for me. Try to call General manager and hes at lunch, and was told probably cant help with the waterpark anyway. I will never recommend anyone go here, and will tell everyone how bad I was treated. Thanks for ruining the day for 5 excited kids.

Its a nice little indoor park. The best time to go is on the discounted days. I would recommend that the staff knows how to handle situations where a kid gets sick and how to clean it up. Last time we were there a little boy got sick on the concrete after just being on the slide the staff took 4 people and 30 minutes to clean it up because no one knew what to do.

Was there grand opening. Was one of the first 100 there. Was supposed to receive a pass to enter the park free from Jan. 3 thru March 3, due to dishonest guests we did not get our passes. Was told wed get them on one or two days. Its now January 10 and we still havent gotten the passes. My kids are heartbroken. I specifically took them out of school early to be first in line and this place hasnt followed through with what they said. Big disappointment for a new business.

The supervisor of the lifeguards has major Power Trip issues. The rafts that you go down the slide on have been destroyed and not replaced so theres not enough to go around. The lines are way longer than they need to be, probably due to the supervisor being on a power trip. Chlorine levels are so high that a third of the kids there where in agony with burning eyes.
