I am very pleased that the carousel was preserved. As a kid in the 60s I road the carousel and grabbed the brass ring when it was by Freeport High School. My children then had the pleasure of riding the merry-go-round in the 80s. It is a part of our history.

Cute little place and the carousel horses are beautiful. It costs two bucks per ride. Its never crowded except when theres a bday party or event. The carousel does go very fast and the horses go up and down so I wouldnt recommend it for very young kids unless they are planning on sitting on the sleds. They also have a lovely little garden in front of the carousel house with benches to sit on. Theres plenty of parking in front. And this is also next to the Long Island childrens museum.

If you are going for only the carousel its a nice one. But its part of the museum row and not an amusement park. If you are planning a day at the museums there, then its a nice break from all the Looking. I wish I had more to say...its a nice old fashioned carousel that the kids enjoyed.

Me and my daughter bought my two Granddaughters to the Cascade carousel. They kept changing horses and enjoyed itvery much!!

Great historic carousel with nicely sculpted horses and other animals. Ive been here several times with my kidsfor birthday parties and even took my 3 great old here for a date. Its perfect to keep your young ones entertained for about an hour or so. Restrooms are also very clean and family friendly.

Many, many years ago I remember going to aCarousel with my parents in Atlantic City. Fast forward to 2018 and I found a beautiful authentic one right next to Nassau Community College. I took my daughters there and spent time making memories and enjoying the ride on the horses again.What a memorable day!

Fun for kids , rides are a little expensive but there is a 15 rides for 20 dollar deal. Rides are 5 min each. Beautiful restoration!

Carousel restoration, building, grounds, etc are all great. Maybe the excitement of riding it as a kid has worn off, but it left more to be desired. My four-year old said the same. You go around a couple of times and then you leave. I dont know, maybe I am just being a grouch. Also opening at 12pm on Saturday or Sunday is silly. They should open earlier on weekends.Having it close to the Cradle of Aviation, Firefighter Museum and Childrens Museum is nice if you are making a day of it.

I love the Nunleys carousel. I remember going to Nunleys as a child and was so excited to be my own daughter to ride the carousel. The restoration is fantastic. I love the new music and the pavilion is lovely. The staff is very nice and even let us ride an extra time around.

Nice location and well maintained. A bit faster than most carousels though so be wary if you are going with small children.

The grandkids loved it and my daughter indicated that the cost was very reasonable.

If you grew up in the 60s and want to remeber a soft loving world....you gotta go. And the carousel has rings. Whem I was too little to reach I was always amazed at my cousin being able to pull rings.
