Parks and recreation put in new playground equipment. Kids loved it!

It was quiet and empty on a weekday.

Clean, shady and great places for the children to play. They have tennis courts, a place for volleyball, restrooms and a large covered area for barbecuing and a party.

Great place to relax and play volleyball with friends, but if its close to dark and you hear a loud buzzing noise, then go and press the button near the volleyball court. If you do so, itll turn on the lights.

Always well groomed and the neighborhood peeps are friendly!

Nice scenery been here for years nothing changed just wished the outlets were always on for the 5th star but very good place to have anything going on or any partys period. Alot of room.

My dog likes to walk in this park. Nice place for kids to play and getting some exercise also. Its a walk path throughout the park.

We live local and come here all the time, with a 2 year old and also a 6 year old its a great place to let them run around and blow some energy off. There are 2 playgrounds- 0-4 and 5-10 which is great for a family. They have a full bathroom with multiple stalls and 2 different rooms, a huge covered area for parts and a volleyball net setup for lots of people to play and seating. Love this park

Nice fields, lots of bleachers seating and nature trees for shade.

Its a cool place to hang out and play a lot of games with friends.

Lake Canyon Park was the site for an end-of-the-year picnic. The facility was pretty nicely maintained, but the trash was overflowing. I called the city and let them know, and they said they would send someone out right away, but no one ever came. We are there about 2 and 1/2 hours. If the trash situation were taken better care of, itd be a more pleasant park.

Its a fun little community park to hang out for an hour or two

Great set up for volleyball. Lights come on when it starts to get dark. Sand courts are full of rocks though and have some hard spots that form little hills under the sand.

Nice park and theres a basketball court too and swings.

Big park with plenty of things to do. Large baseball field, tennis courts, volleyball, nice clean area for bbqs with the family. Good fun for the whole family.

Beautiful Park. Great place for a walk, hide some rocks, pet friendly, people friendly, tennis court, basketball court. I have it a 4 star. The reason: They have a very nice baseball field and batting cage. Not for public use.

The trails are entertaining to walk on

Once they fixed up the park, updated it with new equipment, its a great place to take the kids to picnic and play.

Great sand park. Good for toddlers and school age. Small walking loop. Picnic tables. Bathrooms clean and working. Ice cream truck visits regularly in afternoons. As of 03/10/18, one of the play structures has been removed, because it was broken. The toddler one is still there. Hope they fix it soon. We love this park!

For the most part this park is clean and fun for the kids. Lots of mature trees for awesome shade. But.... the bathrooms could use some soap dispensers.

Alsome historical signs posted. I love the bird sanctuary. Many different kinds of beautiful cranes.hawks and many more. The sounds of the many types of birds sound alsome l can here them from my house

Place is small, quiet, and clean. It has a play structure for kids and a walking/bike trail.

They really needs to be cleaned and fixed up. The playground is a little run down. Volley ball area and bbq area are nice.
