This was a great park dedicated to all the soldiers who have fought for this country and our values. Definitely worth a visit.

Great place for walking or running h

This is a small park with great history. Really nice place to remember and honor the soldiers who have served. There is also a small amphitheater great for special occasions. A unique addition to this park is the scaled model of our Solar System. It begins at the Gainesville Square but continues through this park onto Whilshire Trails and Longwood. In total the walk is about 3 miles, more or less. Its a fun, educational opportunity for little ones to enjoy.

Great Place For Pictures!

Very well kept dog friendly park that also showcases Gainesvilles honor to its Veterans. The best part is the availability of doggie bags that are reused grocery bags, instead of a new plastic product, great idea.

Awesome place, but it seems like the bums are making a mess at the end of the walk down in the Pitt. Kind of agitates me. Wish they could clean it up.
