This is the shadow box the great people at The Great Frame Up helped me with. I gave them everything and they put it together wonderfully! Everyone who sees it just gasps in amazement at how beautiful it is. My dog retired Military Working Dog Jukon N368, EDD/Patrol USAF Ret. now passed away is honored on the Wall of Honor in the Levy County Courthouse. Go see it...this wall is stupendous! And Jukons shadowbox is a perfect addition.

Had a painting, purchased as a gift and delayed in delivery, framed here recently. Because of the hold-up in shipping, I needed to get the framing done quickly in order to be able to have the completed, framed canvas in time for my wife’s birthday. “The Great Frame Up” not only was able to expedite the framing, they still did an amazing job and had excellent aesthetic input on details regarding frame choice and floating. We came into the store just to get an idea about frame types, sizes and shapes for an art show and were very up front about not knowing if we were going to actually get frames. Everyone was so knowledgeable and helpful that we ended up getting 8 pieces framed. They were interested, helpful, and more than anything, professional. Beautifully done and expertly packaged. They even finished ahead of schedule. I highly recommend them!

I got a frame done here a few months ago and was a little shocked by the price so this last week I needed a frame and had some time so I stopped here for a quote and then went to a few other shops finally settling on Harmons. The price I got from The great Frame up was nearly triple what I paid at Harmons and the two frames are hanging next to each other on the same wall and look identical. I dont know how frame prices are all over them map but this girl likes quality at a bearable price.

The people that own and work here are very knowledgeable and always willing to take the time and make sure you get exactly what you want. We have used them several times and Im always impressed.

I feel so stupid for ever having framed anything anyplace else in Gainesville. I always received friendly, knowledgeable service whenever I popped into this shop. The framing was superb and the price was so much less expensive than what Ive paid elsewhere. Whats more, while hanging a new piece right out of the bag, the frame slipped, causing the whole piece to drop and the glass to crack BIG time. I couldnt tell if the problem was with the hardware they gave me to hang the piece or if Id screwed up somehow ... though, Lord knows, it was likely me. I told them this, and without me even having to ask they fixed the piece for free, even though it became clear to both the staffer (Ike) and me that I was the likely troublemaker. I got the piece back, looking lovely, the same day. I think he must have done more than $75 worth of work for nothing. That sort of service and the quality of the product (and, yes, the prices) has me hooked (no pun intended).

I was ready to complain about how expensive this place was, as a previous review had stated, however, I have to say something completely different now. When I went in with my artwork to get it framed I was stunned at what the prices were. I went with it anyway because I liked the frames I picked. I was having three separate pictures framed in the same material so I could display them in a related series. I picked the material, and had everything set up. I waited, and when they came in I got a call. The good people at this place told me they were done but they wanted me to come in and look at the finished product because they werent happy with them did not want to give them to me like they were. I went in, and there were small defects where the corners of the frames met. They were hard to see but they were there. They let me pick new framing material, and even though my pictures were too small for the material I picked, they added matting around the pictures to make it work. Today I got a call to come get them. They looked excellent. I am very satisfied with the end result despite it being a bit pricey. In this day and age, to have a business that puts the customer first, is not satisfied with their own product and insists on making it right is very rare. I appreciate their attitude putting the customer first like that even if it costs a little more. And all of the staff was very helpful and very nice. My picures look awesome! Yes, they may be expensive, but they are very concerned with doing good work for the customer and I appreciate that.

Good quality and service, not cheap.

After going to two other framing shops in Gainesville and not being impressed, we were so relieved to find The Great Frame-Up! They were able to block and professionally frame a needlepoint and got it done in time for Christmas.

We went in at 5:40 pm and were told to get out of the store because they were closed. They are supposed to close at 6 pm and the OPEN sign was displayed in the door, but the woman couldnt even give me a ballpark estimate on how much she would charge if I returned the next day because the computers are already off and itll take me 10 minutes to turn them back on. Obviously, I wont be returning to this unprofessional and lazy business.
