The karts themselves are so much fun. Just be careful, theyre electric, fast, and torquey. First round, my boyfriend nearly dislocated his shoulder after spinning out. Its cool, though, the employees there are enthusiastic and helpful, and albiet not very big, their track is completely reconfigurable. I could totally see this place being worth the drive there every time, especially if it changes often! Also, look at the single driver racing prices. Unbeatable.

Ive been going to Kartland for a little over a year now. The karts and track require a lot more raw driving/racing skill than Andretti. Im finally posting a review based on what I witnessed today. A family from Turkey came in and one of the family members had Down Syndrome. Here are pictures of the manager on duty, Adam, riding on the side of the kart helping the young man fulfill his wish of karting. Im sure it broke all the strict safety and insurance protocols, but I was happy to see common sense prevail. It was a great life lesson for my son and niece to witness in person. Way to go Adam and team! Please go out and support your locally owned business!

I’ve gone to other karting locations. None compare. Andretti was fun but the carts were slow and good luck getting to race in under an hour. Lone star is a cool concept but the track was so bumpy it’s just no fun. Kartland has quick karts, great track layout, the process is easy and it’s not over crowded. The staff is also very friendly. 10/10 would recommend.

Want an honest opinion? First of all.. the staff is amazing. I had to call and get information about an event then the lady was extremely helpful and even gave me more information for a later date. They have a $40 all you can race from 11-3 on Thursdays. It just happened to fall on my daughters birthday so we decided to try it out.Entrance and paying was nothing new. Again, great staff. My first ride however.. I hated it. I thought it was the lifeguard controlling my car, come to find out (again.. staff is amazing on telling you what you can do to improve) I was using my break. Just dont touch it. period.. unless you almost hit a slow driver of course.If youre worried about safety.. dont be. Again, they have an employee that watches the races (three categories as well, child, youth and adult so we can be ourselves) and if anything happens on the track they can slow or even stop all the carts to protect everyone. They have all the appropriate gear needed and We watched someone actually go under and through the barriers and not get a scratch. Maybe a minute downtime and the race was up and running again. Staff is efficient!The staff was amazing with my girls and they had a blast. As for Covid, you have to wear a mask in, but once you get the head sock, youre good to go. They spray the carts down after every use and give you sanitizer if you want it. So great to go in that category.Safe, friendly, informative, fun, and memories made.. definitely a five star rating for this place. We will be returning. Maybe try the drift races!

If you are going here to be on the same track at the same time as your child that is to 11years old or younger there is a good chance this place is not for you. They do not allow it. I would assume a lot of people go here to race with their kids guess they don’t get it. Go to Andretti’s cause they do.

Love this place! It is super clean, all of the employees are very helpful. Driving the track is a good way to take a little mind break from the day. I cant wait to bring my team from work to race for our next company outing!

If you havent been here, you NEED to go! Nick is one of the managers there and he helped me learn the track and even showed me some better lines to follow. The guys at the register and the track were both friendly and seemed to love what they do. Good people over there.

Pretty cool spot to hang out with friends. The carts are fast and have good grips. Sometimes I get in a slick wheeled cart which slows my times down but overall a fun experience. They also just got a VR Quest arena and that was really fun. Only downside is the length of the game compared to the cost is a bit high. I bought 2 games which was about 17-18$ and my games were 6-8 minutes each. Definitely a must try!!

The people who help you race are great! Unless you have a coupon or getting a discount, it’s a lot of money for not much time... good to do once.

The Karland Performance Center was an AMAZING host to the 2nd Annual Texas Veloster Gang Meet. This year we decided to have our 2nd Annual Meet in Dallas and rather then do illegal street racing we took it the track, the Go-Kart Track that is. Having members coming from all over Texas to join in on the fun, Frank at Kartland Performance made sure we were all taken care of! The racing was fun and so was the meet right outside. Thanks again to Kartland Performance and also to Frank for all your help and cooperation. We will definitely make this our new Dallas Location.

Definitely a fun place to go for. I was scared before going there. But they have very good safety feature. They are operating indoor which is very convenient in winter days. Must consider if planning for go-kart.

Great fun. Only comment is if the are not busy, your races go by to quickly. Should have the option to delay so you can relax and enjoy. Hardly had time to buy a drink, much less to enjoy it.

Went here for an hour endurance race. Finest thing Ive done in an electric kart and I frequent k1 and others, I will be back if they host another

Seemed like a lot of fun, however after checking in the associate asked to measure my little guy...only to find out hes a few inches too small. Wish we were asked before signing in. The staff did let us see if he could reach the pedals and made some modifications- however we still couldnt make it work. Looks fun, there are other arcade and a VR game that they were able to play.

Great Fun for kids and the Adults!

We went with a group of 9 people, two being smaller kids. First off, the whole process of scheduling wasnt explained to us. We were not aware that they run adult races, youth races, and then kid races, in that order and it cycles through that every time.We were told our wait would be about 45 minutes if the group of older people wanted to ride together. What we werent told was this was because one of the seven of the older people was fourteen so he didnt have a license which meant all of us were put in a youth group because hes considered youth. Thats fine except for the fact that there were mainly youth there. So those youth group races were full.Because of this rotation system, if some adults or kids walked in anytime after us, they would then have adults or kids to put in races in front of ours. So our 45 minute wait became an hour and a half.We asked for information a couple of times and just kept being told 15 minutes, 15 minutes. Eventually some older lady in charge said that this is why they like groups to book ahead of time. Well 1) we werent a party, just family so didnt think we should book a group. 2) it only offers birthday bookings or adult bookings so our group wouldnt have qualified anyway because we were kids and youth 3) its more expensive to book a group so of course they want you to book online.Wouldnt it make sense for them to have a better system of first come, first served. People came after we did, raced twice and left before we even got to race once, because they were adults or kids and we were lost in the youth cycle.It is too expensive, $200+ to wait so long. And because of the stupid rotating system of age groups, our small kids raced twice before we raced once. So they were done about 30 minutes before we went one time.We bought two races a piece and only the little ones went twice. Its just a poor system that isnt explained at the beginning. A young person is working the register and she could give two craps. This activity way too expensive for what you get!

The best place to go karting in Texas! I will definitely be back again. The owner Ben is great and knows how to run a business. I definitely will recommend this place to anyone.

Kind of fun for a 1 time event. Love that its indoor and battery cars are fun and quicker than expected. A bit overpriced for what you get. It can be fun depending on your group.

The place is nice and has a great overall setup. However the track has too many straights and not enough corners to really challenge you if you are only with one other person on the track because the karts aren’t set up for long straightaways and only do about 30, but when the corners do come up the karts suit it well. On the plus side the track is wide and would be really fun with a group. So if you do go, I recommend coming with a few of your friends if you aren’t going purely for lap times.

I’m actually shocked at how good the reviews are just because of the price point. You pay $28 a person for ONE RACE!!!! It’s $20 plus $8 “membership license” You only have to pay the $8 once a year. So then it’s $20 a person for about 10 minutes of fun. So make sure you understand that $28 gets you one race. So for a large family like ours. You walk in and walk out 20 minutes later spending $200. Crazy!!!

A good spot for indoor racing. But. There is only one track at the place. And it gets old really fast. Plus I think there is a little too much screwing around with the kart speed remotely.The management does not have the foresight to use the same track in reverse to spice things up. Or alter the track a bit every few days.The facility is a bit isolated in location so that means that you better stock up on the things you may need while there. They do have food there but it is composed of chips, dogs and pizza.They do have a VR game in the facility which they do not advertise at all at the facility. Honest. I didnt even notice the thing until my second visit.

I would not recommend going here. The owner is only concerned with taking your money and taking care of his friends. K1 in Richardson is far better in every way. The track, the owner, the Staff, and the experience. If you go here, you’re asking for an unpleasant experience.

An immensely entertaining experience that you’ll surely remember. It’s changed exceptionally, with the transition from Pole Position (the former company ) to Kartland Performance. Friendly staff, and a competitive community.In conclusion, I recommend this place to anyone who doesnt mind typically spending a hundred or so dollars on two people. Its a short burst of drastic fun for an unbelievable amount, but if you do end up going and forking over a pretty penny, then I assure you that youll have an incredible, and unforgettable time.

Super fun and fast paced. Staff was extremely friendly and understand the competitive nature. They definitely knew the difference between racing and some people just playing bumper cars. Wish I caught their names so I can shout them out individually.They keep the races going fast and efficient with several different groups. Never had more than five minutes of down time between each race.I highly reccomend getting a big enough group to do the four race package!

Track was empty only me and my brother so it was great

First time in the Frisco area and stumbled upon this awesome place. Was greeted by a lovely young lady by the name of Arielle working behind the counter. Arielle was able to help us with choosing the different racing packages they had to offer and all the prices were very reasonable! The staff was very friendly and briefed us on safety before we were able to hit the track. They had just opened up a new addition to their snack-bar with a whole pizza/wing kitchen as well. They also had a cool little gaming room for kids to play games on the computer. Overall amazing experience with an excellent staff and I am very happy that safety was very important to them and their main goal to make sure everyone was having fun and being safe.

Good fun times here. Will be back.

The staff is great! They are always happy to give you tips whether your a long time racer or just getting started. The Karts are killer fast, and truly built for racing! Ive never been to a track so technical, good luck trying to top them out! Makes for great competitive racing.

If you like fast go carts this is the place to go. Not cheap but really fun. My teen boys and I had a great time!

Perfect place for my 6 year old to get on the track. He had a BLAST!! The staff was quick to help him when he got in a jam and were super nice to the lil guy. Definitely going back, too bad they dont have more of a video game selection.

We took our three sons here for our youngest birthday. We loved the experience. Our only beef was the one staff member (Young girl) who was sarcastic and sassy and didn’t seem to want TJ belo anyone. Otherwise the place is worth a visit.

Fun karting complex. Games and food and good options for birthday party options. Little on the expensive side but not more than most experiences like this.

Some of the most fun my son and I have had in a long time. I grew up racing go karts and it brings back a lot of great memories. It is a little pricey, depending on your income, but it’s worth it for the amount of fun you have!

Love the experience , place is clean , employees very nice , they make you feel safe, love going on sundays mornings because isnt too crowded or any weekdays before 3 pm.

This is hands down the best possible way to spend a day in Texas. Great staff and the owner personally came out to see how we were all doing. This guy Ben is a real great guy, felt like Id known him my whole life. What a rush to get behind the wheel and race along side beginners and experts alike. I mean Christ, I cannot wait to get back there and give it another day. Im half tempted to fly my other side of the family in from Nicaragua just to see the look on their faces as uncle Dave takes a drop bank on turn 3 squeezing the inside post with a Monster () energy drink in one hand and a half pound smoked brisket in the other. Highly recommend.

Awesome place! Fun for everyone. Carts, iRacing car simulators, VR gaming, billiards, video games... food and beer. All of this in a bright, spacious environment that didnt feel like I was in a dark pizza palace for kids.

Tons of fun. My teenage son has loved this place since he was about 10. A bit pricey to do too often, but great for a ride. Allow time, as there can be a little wait before your category of race comes up.Carts are pretty fast and their is a youth version which are still quick. No figure 8 here as the course is more gran prix style with lots of braking and sharp turns. Makes it FUN!

Great overall experience! The whole place was very clean. The staff was super friendly and you can tell they enjoy their jobs! When I went the place wasnt to busy so we had no wait time. I suspect Friday night and weekend nights are very busy. The go kart are all electric, so there is no need to open big garage doors to get the fumes out of the building. And if you are thinking that electric kart are slow, well thing again! Probably one of the fastest karts Ive driven! Electric karts have more launch and speed than a gas one (in my personal opinion) Once on the track, a computer gps system tracks your lap times and overall time on a big projector. Very up to date.

First time to visit and had a blast! Karts are fast and will spin out if not driven properly. The course has lots of turns with minimal straights. The facility is very clean and the people working their were friendly. We arrived when they opened at 10am and had to wait for a group to go before us. Each race is about 7-8 minutes and gives plenty of time to get a good feel for the course. Their process is pretty efficient as they get the next group queued up in karts while the current group is racing. If you pay for multiple races, youll race and then get out of the kart and back in the lobby and get in queue for the next available race. This was fine because it gives you time to talk to your fellow racers about how things went. We bought two races and in total were there for 1.5 hours, so give yourself some time. Ill be going back soon and taking some additional buddies with me!

Just had a Birthday Party there for a bunch of boys. It was perfect and absolutely required no effort from Mom and Dad while the kids had a blast. Give it a try.

My son and I always have a blast when we visit and the team there are willing to answer questions and work with you to make sure youve got your group together. Well run facility and theyre great with the kids that are really wanting to learn how to go faster.They also pay attention to how capable you are and make adjustments to your carts speed based on skill and awareness.

The best indoor electric Go-Karting in Dallas! I love go-karts, but I dont love the Texas heat or the loud engines. Being indoor makes the experience way more enjoyable. Even if you have never done something like this before, you will still have loads of fun. The one downside to Pole Position is it can be very pricey. There are arcade machines if you are into that sort of thing, but the main attraction is obviously the Go-Karts. Do not mistake this for bumper cars, though, they will shutoff your car and take you out of the race if you intentionally hit others. It is very safe, with large harnesses and helmets to borrow. They give you a disposable head sock so do not worry about lice or anything like that. The safety video is quite informative and the instructors know what they are talking about. This is a great place to have some fun!

Fun place to go with friends. People always greet you. There is never a time when you dont like it. The karts a coll and they give safety precautions to kids younger that 12.

Great Experience. I took the family last night and everyone had a blast. The staff is very friendly & helpful. The location is very clean. Fun atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Plus, it is GoPro friendly which was a big plus for me. It is a little pricey though. One race is about 10 minutes & you will pay $21 a person.
