I love brining my pup here. We recently moved to the area and are trying to bring him here more. I love that its made out of astroturf and that its a big space for the bigger pups. We were caught in a rainstorm earlier this year and the covered areas kept us decently dry. This park is right next to Lake Elizabeth and the animal shelter (which have vaccination clinics on Saturdays).

Good park and nice people here

This park is really lovely. The entire surface is a covered in a soft astroturf thats easy on the paws and theres lots of room to run and fetch. Theres even generous covered seating for us humans. Additional features include an agility course and a separate area for the little guys and gals.

Theres nothing planned about meeting new friends. The park boasts plenty of parking so you will find a number of dogs for your yours to play with. Bring your own water the ones on site are turned off.

Well maintained dog park with sweeping, panoramic views of mission peak. Really great people and dogs. There’s a small dog park with grass, shelter, benches and water fountain. The big dog park is artificial grass with all the same amenities at triple the size. The big dog park also has an agility course which is pretty cool. You can also take a walk around Lake Elizabeth if you and your pooch need some more exercise. It’s about 2 Miles around. Enjoy!

Nice big dog park with attentive and friendly owners. The park has turf - no grass for your pooch but no dirt or dust flying around either. It has just opened after covid restrictions were relaxed, and people seemed to follow social distancing and wore masks. We didnt see a watering station to quench Fidos thirst after a long session of fetch, but someone had brought a jug of water and bowls for the pups to share. The dog park also has a trail around the off leash enclosure if you have a dog that doesnt like to socialize.

Nice Park. It was very busy with lots of dogs. Nice experience, one of the larger parks i have been too. People were responsible for their dog. No issues. Turf is great as most parks are closed after a rain.

Its a great place to take your pet and also. They have basketball hoops. You can play some basketball and its actually a great atmosphere. You also have at Lake Elizabeth around the way. And my dog had tens of fun.

Its where people and dogs can come together and socialize I think its fun seeing all the different types of dogs is beautiful people

Nicely sized park with lots of plants and wildlife. It can get pretty busy over the weekend but in general, very good for a jog or walk.

We just stopped in and visit its a pretty nice Bart we walked around a few times we enjoyed the park

Large dog area does not have real grass, only little dog area.

Safe-feeling space for dogs to socialize, even at night. Lights on until 10pm! Its good stuff.

I like this dog park.my dog is always thrilled and we feel welcomed every time we go in. Patrons help maintain the area so its very community driven. I recommend it.

Love this place! The big dog area is the place to be, regardless of your dogs size. I have a medium size dog and a puppy and they do just fine there. The small dog area is sort of pathetic and there are hardly any dogs there.Its a huge dog park covered in AstroTurf. There are places to sit in the sun or shade. There are often a whole lot of people and dogs there, especially on warm evenings and weekends.We always have fun. Be prepared to be bumped into and jumped on by by big and small dogs. I think the sort of person who takes their dog to a dog park would expect it and not mind.I highly recommend the Fremont dog park!

Very clean, open park. Easily accessible by car or foot. Dogs love it here. Community is great and everyone seems to be friendly and vigilant of their dogs.

Small dog area is nice, real grass, fairly clean, gets crowded at times so monitor your pet closely. Best to go early, before 9 AM.

Wonderful dog park here! They have an area for smaller dogs and one for the larger dogs. The park for the larger dogs seems cleaner and well kept. Most owners here will pick up after their dogs and make sure to attend to their dogs if they get too rowdy with other dogs. Generally a friendly place to take your pet!

Big beautiful park. Two nice play areas. Reserved and regular picnic tables with charcoal BBQ grills, BYOB charcoal. Plenty of lawn for blanket picnicking. Many tall shade trees. Wild birds and bird sanctuary island. Paddle boats for rent on weekends. Two mile walk on paved path around the lake. Next to Stivers Lagoon. There is an earthquake walk for education. Water slides next door.

This park has artificial turf, otherwise, I would give it 5 stars. Artificial turf is OK as long as it is from a good manufacturer and cleaned correctly , every day. My question would be, does anyone know the manufacturer of the turf and how often they clean it?

Awesome, clean environment. Big area to run & play, obstacles to practice on, shaded seating for owners, poop bags available, water fountains. Small dog area & large dog area. Some naughty doggies today, but more a reflection of the owners.

This is a great park that I like to take my German Shepherd to for training. Because there is a fenced in leash off area, I can stay outside that area and know that no other dogs will run up to ya during training, however since my dog is quite reactive to other dogs, it is a great place to train. The park is clean and people are very observant of the rules. It also features benches to sit on and a pleasant environment. The lake nearby adds to the ambience as well.

Best dog park ever! The lights stay on until 10pm, and the people are friendly. Dogs have a great time running, sniffing, and wrestling. AstroTurf for the large dogs, grass for the small ones in separate entrance enclosures. Doggie water fountains and shade for people. Almost everyone cleans up after their dog with scoops provided.

The most beautiful dog park in the Bay. I can see the lake, the soft ball and basketball courts, and the spacey dog park :) its a beautiful long walk under the sunset. This is a lovely place to go on dates. It can get a bit crowded in the weekend.

Could be cleaner, but its a dog park. Theres a very large space for bigger dogs. Theres plenty of room to play fetch with your dog and plenty of room for dogs to run around and chase each other. A lot of dogs end gettin excited and playing a little rough but I think they just get excited having a large space to play around in. Some regulars here will judge and kick people out if their dogs fight. The dogs are chill though!

It has a nice community of pet owners and the view of the lake is pleasant. BUT THE ACTUAL PARK IS REALLY DULL AND ISNT MAINTAINED I JUST WANT TO SEE A HAPPY PARK NOT JUST A FLAT GRASS FIELD

Easily one of the largest dog parks Ive been to in the area (45 min radius), plenty of running area if your dog is into that. Usually there are several tennis balls that you can play fetch with your dog. The dog park closes at 10pm, because they turn the flood lights off, but Ive frequently seen people stay past that time.

Clean and plenty of places to sit and enjoy watching the dogs play. Theres a water fountain for humans and dogs and rakes, scoopers, and trash cans for you to clean up your dogs little messes.

Lots nice good dogs and people. However, be warned there are more owners now paying their sole attention more to their phones than pets, thinking the dog park will baby sit and pick up after their pets. Its a saddening phenomenon…

This is the best dog park ever. The lights dont go off until 10pm. Perfect for after the rush hour. There are people to talk to and dogs to play with from early until late.

Dog Park review:The ground is artificial grass, their is some sand and doggy obstacle. The place has small and large dog area with water to offer. The large dog area is big, close to 80 yards, in addition it offers dedicated street lights for great visibility.This place works perfect for me due to how I dont get time with my dog until 6pm night.

Wonderful park and resources, great dogs and dog lovers. However, it is a dog park first and foremost. Please respect the dogs and the posted rules about no kids under 8, including babies in carriages. The dogs want to play, and I have witnessed many too little to handle it kids get licked in the face or jumped on and start screaming. There are amazing kids playgrounds in the same mega park complex. Please respect the dogs in the dog park...

I dont take my dogs here enough because of the East Bay traffic, but I love the huge space for my dogs, its clean, and have shaded bench areas for us humans. Wish there was more parking. Also, the area for dog workouts is a nice touch, although my dogs dont know what to do with it.

This dog park is packed from 6 to 8 pm. like theres 50 dogs easily. and everyone gets along. the only thing is when people bring their dogs toys from home and have attitude when other dogs want to play.. I dont care for that. if you want to play with your dog by yourself with their ball, come at a time when its not crowded. just sayin
