Great park with plenty of activities, and its open after dark so it has more variety than othe parks in the area!

Huge park with several playgrounds. Could only visit one playground due to rain water collecting underneath the ones without padding. Had a great time with my son and will most likely be back again soon.

This place has tons of memories for me, learning to ride a bike, the famous Mushroom Pool from years ago- watching softball and baseball games in the fields in the back. This park has it all! The scenery is beautiful, the parking lots are plentiful and the trails are wonderful! If you need a place to rest or picnic there are tables throughout as well as grills in designated areas!

Its so relaxing there its a pleasure to do my jogging in this park I reccommend others to take advantage of this beautiful park

1/2 mile track that is nice and wide to accommodate runners and walkers alike. Not many mosquitos, bathroom facilities, and workout stations for atretching make it my go-to walking.

4 basketball courts. Volleyball nets in sand. Baseball fields. Playgrounds for the kids. Walking path. Pretty much anything you would want in a park.

This is a well maintained park that has a little of something for everyone. You can walk or jog the trails, ride your bike, play some hoops, baseball, or soccer. For the kiddies, theres multiple playgrounds and a spray park. Its dog friendly as well, as long as they stay on their leash. And if youre into Pokemon Go, you wont be disappointed.

I am split here. It is a great park that we love however the politics knock off at least 2 stars. For instance, the Volleyball courts CANNOT be reserved (although other areas can). No one can even operate a one-time fundraiser, league, or any other event! Now the park admins are blatantly scheduling their own league only open for their own closed group!! This is a public park! Uh, VIOLATION?! I hope the right attorney sees this and blows the whistle! Gosh, you cannot even reserve one of the outdoor covered pavilions for a private party! You probably are not allowed to eat food at the picnic tables either. WTH??!! What kind of public park is that?! Communists.

Wonderful wonderful park full of playgrounds but sadly no mask mandates

This park is filled with wonderful treasures! They have held so much within this park, I dont know where to begin but I will say, there is something for everyone!They have a great field for baseball. Please note, Freehold Little League is held here so if there is a game, parking will be hard. They also have many playgrounds for kids. They seem to have themed playgrounds so that if you are meeting other parents, just say, well convene at the blue or pirate ship playground and everyone will find it. They have a fenced in skateboard ramps for tweens and up which I personally think is a fabulous idea. The ramps are spaced and curved only for skateboards. Longboards should definitely stay only on the paved paths where they belong. Speaking of trails, their trails are mixed between paved and dirt. You can safely go on a light walking trail here either solo or as you are walking your dogs. They also provide a few stations with plastic bags for the owners to clean up after their dogs.They also have basketball courts, dog runs, picnic areas, a spray ground on hot summer’s days and my favorite, a sports field with obstacle courses. Perfect for the bigger kids with lots of energy and to build coordination.I went in March where things are just somewhat starting to bloom. I can only imagine the splendor in late June where everything will be fully bloomed and the grass will be lush. I look forward to revisiting this park, especially when it’s Freehold Township Day where there will be plenty of fireworks, rides and the Vets car show!

The former Liberty Oak Park from my childhood is better than ever. It is a staple in our family. Where my oldest son has gone to Rec Camp for 10 summers. Where my 5 yr old multiply disabled son can play on an all-abilities playground. Where my husband and I can have lunch and take a nice walk through the beautiful park. It is kept clean, safe & always updated while remaining a great place in nature.

They have every major type of outdoor activity with its own parking lot location so there is little need to waste time walking the whole park, unless you want to enjoy the trails, which they also have.

Great park for all kinds of activities... it’s great for hiking, great for basketball and a fun place for racing 5K’s, 5 milers and more...

Such a large area of parks, playgrounds, baseball fields, every outdoor sport room. Kept clean and neat. Even the bathrooms are clean, well kept and well light.

Its is a very nice park. You can ride your bike/skateboard/scooter, play basketball, baseball or pay in the playground. There is a volleyball and tennis court as well. They are working on renovating one of the smaller playgrounds.

Well maintained, fairly large municipal park. Lots of activities available, from basketball to tennis to various childrens playgrounds. Ample parking.

Always bustling...Love the bike path/walking path and exercise equipment along the route. Great ball fields and little kids water park in summer. Have seen fox and deer along the trail.

A beautiful park with a variety of playground equipment, fields, paths and pavilions.

The park is very organized and updated. Unfortunately the skatepark is closed indefinitely because of “bikes and scooters” but you can’t just let one action sport use the park and make everyone else sit on the sideline. This is purely unjustified prejudice and it irritates me to see this

Terrible to close a skatepark for everyone because of a few people. The recreation office must not be able to manage the facilities properly. Poor management. Tax dollars go towards paying for the facilities just for them to shut it down.

Took the kids there for the weekend.Havent been there in 5 years. Used to go there when I was a kid. Enjoyed seeing the tennis courts re-paved and freshly painted. Sad to see the handball courts wall has been removed.Everything was clean as always.

Such a lovely, natural setting with walking trails. It has a playground, tennis courts, a splash park in summer and nature. Very nice.

Hadnt been in years to play basketball, but brought our 3 year old son and the two separate playgrounds were great. Many cool, different type of set ups for the kids. I dont live in Freehold anymore or else we would be going often.

Great place to have a picnic and or take your family there for a day out. They have baseball field football field and a ton of other things that can be done with the family. Big parking area. Easy to get to and it is pet friendly.

Its kind of out of the way and you have to go through an entire park complex to get to it. It is not mentioned on the directions

I drove 20 minutes to go to the skatepark, after gearing up which took 10 minutes we began to ride, then the skatepark tender came and told us to leave. He could of told us before we geared up and got to riding. He didn’t even let us pack up in the park we had to leave and then pack up. If im paying taxes I want to be able to ride and if you won’t allow scooters and bikes at a public park then I would like a new park that only allows scooters and bikes.

Hey guys, this as it turned out is now on my list of a beautifully kept ,nice and quiet park,if you dont know Im all in for parks of all shapes sizes,Mother *******Nature is outstanding,you can do all sorts of things here as I found out biking walking trails playground hockey on wheels ,and from my point of view,,what a view, oh my,,if you want a few minutes of time to tune out,Go to a park and relax, any parkand give this mother a hugór two

This place is so nice, state of the art! Splash park, exercise/ stretching station on trail, play grounds, tennis courts, basketball, baseball, volley ball, even dodge ball and box ball courts are all kept in GREAT condition! I even came here to get my dog vaccinated for free once

Scooters were not allowed at skate park. I realize that its a skate park, but with no reason I was told to leave because of what I was riding. Many of the skaters there dont where helmets. On the sign at the front gate it says you will be asked to leave if safety gear is not worn. But I only ever see people on bikes or scooters get kicked out, even if we are wearing helmets and are following skate park edict. I wouldnt be as mad if there was a reason that I was kicked out for.

Great cozy, but well-arranged park. FARC does some great winter races here over the winter on Sundays on the winding, paved trails.
