I rented an inflatable water slide for my daughters birthday. The rental process was super easy - a quick phone call with a helpful employee. I had to reschedule my slide due to weather and I called 2 days before the party to reschedule, and that also was easy and hassle free. They called the morning of to let me know they were on their way. The employees that set it up were kind and professional. My rental was for 11am-7pm and they set it up around 9:30am, and came the next morning to pick it up. The slide itself was a huge hit - kids and adults enjoyed it. I definently plan on renting again next summer.

Good place to bring kids, they have moon bounces that reach the ceiling. Nice place for birthdays or just a casual day of fun. They play world music through the sound systems too.

I really want to give this place full stars. My son had a great time, there was tons to do, well be back soon. However, I stepped on a pin right after I took my shoes off. I think it may have been a pin holding an outfit together from a birthday party or something, but it hurt and put me on edge for the duration of our visit. After that though, smooth sailing, we had a blast.

LOVE Backyard Inflatables!! Great customer service and the discounted rates during the week from 10am-2pm is genius! Will always opt to taking my daycare kids here because of the discount AND because they have such a nice big space and a great separate room for little ones! Highly recommend.

Great place especially if you have kids with an age gap. There is a toddler room for the little ones and the main area for everyone else. No many places in Frederick for Toddlers but I was so glad they have one. They also have Date night where they will watch her kid for a few hours for a pretty good price.

I have gone to this place 3 times in the last two months and have to say I really enjoyed the inflatables aspect with the child I was with, but I feel like if you have arcade games they NEED to be filled with tickets so you actually receive the tickets you are supposed to get. All 3 times I went the tickets were empty in over half of the arcade games. It became frustrating for my 3 year old to play games and not receive tickets. How hard is it to put a roll of tickets into a game? I mentioned the games needing tickets to employees each time I went and they never added tickets.

The price is reasonable and it is fun for children of all ages. The place has some areas of opportunity.The inside needs some serious updating and repair. On several visits some things were not working in the bathroom such as one stall and a sink. The sofas provide a poor visual experience as they dont look right in the environment. The sofas also feel very worn and sink in. I think solid chairs would work better. The place could be better cleaned. The pizza for the party rooms taste like a piece of cardboard with a spoonful of sauce and a sprinkle of cheese. Despite the areas of opportunity, your kids will still have fun, so it gets three stars.

We had a GREAT birthday party on Saturday for my little sister. Everyone HAD a blast. The prices are great. The play area is awesome. All the kids had so much fun. We loved how nice the staff are. Our party host was very sweet and helpful. The room we had the party in was very clean and cute decorated we just added a little bit of extra decorations that went with our theme. Dont do your party anywhere else. You definitely will have your moneys worth having your party at backyard inflatables.

I went to this place a couple of days ago and my family loved it. Staff is awesome, food is delicious and facilities are great.I got impressed with their people skills, the staff went above and beyond when a non English speaker called in asking for directions; patiently, they figured out how to properly and successfully communicate to the client with no hesitation. Outstanding customer service fascinating experience.

Really great place for a day camp, and as others have said, the staff were all fantastic! My one beef was with their cash drawer. They rarely had proper change. They sell small 2 dollar items, but the only bills they have in the drawer are 20s and 1s?? When are they going to need 20s, over a 5 or 10 dollar bill? Very frustrating trying to get something for my son. Not many people carry a lot of different bills around anymore, it would behoove management to accommodate that.

Went for the first time today for our 4yo’s birthday and had a great time. All the kids loved it, staff was friendly and helpful, facilities were clean and nice. Very reasonable rates.

We used to go to Backyard Infaltables a LOT a couple years ago but my daughter kept getting sick, the place seemed dirty and smelled weird, the staff was terrible. The staff was mainly teenagers, but the teenagers who could care less if they had jobs.Today we decided to try again since my daughter asks constantly to go. What a difference! It smelled clean, looked clean, the teenage staff was attentive, helpful, courteous, and just a pleasure. I actually asked the girl if they were under new management!I will say they are checking wristbands when you leave, which is AMAZING (matching parents to kids) however when my husband was outside getting the car and had the wristbands with him (theres no requirement the adults have to wear, just have in possession) the girl wasnt sure what to do when I told her I didnt have mine. She explained they needed to verify, but I said oh; ok. And left. Lol Maybe give them a script of responses to memorize. I love the fact that they are checking everyone leaving now and there was ALWAYS someone at the front counter. Good job backyard inflatables!

This place is dope as heck, you can bring any age here honestly. Plus they have chicken wings, burgers, chips, candy, if you bring the ice they can make ice coffee. This place has grown so much and definitely deserves more love and attention (:

This place is amazing! The indoor fun center is great for all ages! There’s a toddler room located in the back for kids 6 and under, and the bigger room is even great for adults! There’s tons of comfy couches and a few massage chairs so parents can relax while their children burn off energy! Food and drinks are available for purchase, along with cool redemption prizes! Even better, Backyard Inflatables can come to you! They rent out dunk tanks, moonbounces, concessions, games and so much more! If you’re looking for a place for you kids to make new friends while you can finish up work on your laptop, this is the place for you!!! Bouncers are on a weekly cleaning schedule, along with a daily facility cleaning inspection. Staff is always super friendly and welcoming. Have your party here, or bring the fun to you!

I take the kid I babysit here atleast once a week. You cannot beat the pricing, $15 for as long as you want to stay! The place is clean and the people at the front are always so sweet. Thank you backyard inflatables for making my 6 year old so happy!! You guys rock:)

My wife and I recently took our kids our two girls here on my youngest birthday this past Thursday. It was our first time and I must say it was amazing. The right amount of toys and arcade games to play not over crowded or all over the place. There was one staff member my family felt with her name was Alison, she was amazing with my girls and my wife loved her. Very easy to talk to and cool. Love the atmosphere will definitely be coming back soon. And when my wife called today to leave a verbal review she was greeted politely by the owners daughter Daelyn who sounded just as wonderful. I can not wait to return.

On Saturday, June 24, 2017, we had the blue and yellow dual waterslide at my sons birthday party. I received a call when they were on their way and they even arrived early. The men (Ryan, Chris and Thomas), were extremely fast, efficient and very nice. At the time of pick-up, they were on time and once again, very good at their job. This was our first experience with backyard inflatables and I can honestly say, that I could not recommend them any higher.

The front desk is typical, young people who could care less. Your not going to get professionals so dont expect it. The trapeze does not have an attendant to bring it back up to next kid waiting. As a matter of fact, there are no attendants anywhere to ensure safety, so if your a slacker parent who doesnt watch their kid this is not place for you. I watch my son like a hawk so if you just need a place for kids to get energy out its fine.

Ive never had a problem with this place. Its the best bounce house in the area and it keeps my preschooler entertained for hours. We drive 30 minutes to come to this place almost weekly. I wouldnt say its the swankiest neighborhood or establishment, but the inflatables are always in good condition and they have mats at the exits and entrances to the moonbounces, which most places dont.

You have kids. They have energy. They want to bounce off the walls. Youd rather they werent your walls. You want to sit on the couch and fart around online on your phone. Good news! Backyard Inflatables may be for you. Its not the most upscale of bounce house places, but its convenient, has a lot of open bounce houses for different ages/bounciness comfort levels, garbage arcade games that dont always work, non-bounce house play structures/options, and free wifi. They also have a loyalty card where you can earn free bounce time.

If you are in the Frederick, MD area and need event equipment, DO NOT BOTHER with this place. Terrible customer service and communication. I am acting as the liaison for my employer in planning a fundraising event, and was simply trying to get information on how Backyard Inflatables could possibly help us or sponsor the event, and it was like pulling teeth. I never did get any pertinent information from them.I first called at the beginning of September, and was told by a female employee that Backyard Inflatables does a lot of fundraisers and would most likely be helping us, and she would pass my message on to Jim. I then sent an email to Jim with a few questions and information about our event, along with some documentation, figuring Id save us both some time. I did not hear back. I called a couple weeks later and spoke with another female employee, who said she would have Jim give me a call back. No call back. I called again a week later and FINALLY got Jim, who was very nice and said hed speak to his employees and give me a call back by the end of the day. No call back. This was last Wednesday. I called again on Friday since our event is in less than 2 weeks, and got Jim. This time he was not so nice. It did not seem to matter to him that Id been attempting to just get information from him for about a month, it only mattered that it was now so close to the event that he (obviously) didnt feel like bothering with it. He also said that he was too busy to discuss anything with me since it was a Friday, and that if I called back on Monday, *maybe* something *might* be worked out. Since I felt I had been strung along by him and two of his employees for weeks, and had very little time left to find an event rental business to help/sponsor, I asked if I should bother waiting - Its kind of a big deal to us - He continued to say vague things, and dance around the question, while moaning about how many fundraisers they get asked to do.I ended up calling Fun 4 Hours after finishing my conversation with Jim. Within a few days, they have offered us a VERY discounted rate on a moon bounce and are throwing in concession equipment. Needless to say, if anyone I ever come across wants to rent event equipment, they will NOT be referred to Backyard Inflatables. I dont make referrals to businesses that dont treat people with respect, and that wont even bother to talk to you unless theyre making a big profit up front. Sure, our event may be smaller than others youre sponsoring, but in the end, a little consideration and hospitality goes a long way.

Management is rude and couldnt follow up or schedule a party. We pushed through their incompetence and constantly had to make phone calls and Emails to ensure everything went well. Even with us doing all the work they failed at almost everything...Rude, unprofessional and you could clearly see management enjoyed yelling at children to scare them into following their rules.Im not sure why my children enjoy this place...

It looks every unorganized in the way of just throwing things together. Many times there is no music playing making it feel sad. The food is over priced and if you have a child who cannot eat junk food or the likes of pizza and need healthy food, they have no options for them.

I come to this place at least two times per week and have been beyond satisfied each and every time. From front to back this place is an awesome place to let the kids blow off some steam while indoors in air conditioning (Great way to beat the heat!). I tend to ask a lot of questions everywhere I go, just a curious person I guess, the front desk employees were very knowledgeable about their products and friendly as they come. Check in was quick and easy, sign a form and pay the cashier . The floors and inflatables were clean, unlike some of the other jump places I have been to. They have several nice couches to relax on while the kids are jumping and free WIFI so i can get some work done on my tablet while i am there. There are two big rooms full of inflatables, one room for the older kids, and a room for toddlers only that has other things to do other then just jumpies ( giant connect 4 game, tricycles, mini kitchens, etc.) I usually get at least one order of french fries, which for 2 bucks is a steal considering it is a giant portion, and either a pizza which is always good or their chicken chunks which are one of a kind. It was nice to see that the employees walk around inside to monitor/ supervise all the kids to make sure they are safe while they are there. There are also several arcade games to play that give back tickets you can trade in for toys, candy, etc. I have rented inflatables to come out to my house from this company before as well, the whole process is quick and easy, just tell them what you want and pay for it they do the rest which is nice on party day.

I rented the 24 foot water slide (not cheap - $900 for 4 hours) with optional slip and slide extension for my sons 14th birthday. It is very poorly designed with regard to tripping hazards in the lane used to climb up the dual slide. The tarp at the bottom of the left slide had poor Velcro which kept coming undone resulting in Velcro burns for the kids. We kept reattaching the Velcro and eventually stopped the kids from using it before our time was up to avoid additional injuries. When I called to inform them of the issue and to have them make note for the next renter, I was quickly cut off and the rep ended the call abruptly when I said I wouldnt rent this inflatable again. She made no apologies because they had their money. Future buyers/renter beware.

The people were friendly and apologetic for being 1.5 hours late, but that was little reconciliation. I was embarrased because my guests were expecting the water slide, and i had many kids waiting. They showed up 1.5 hours late and offered to let us keep the slide for 1.5 hours past our end time. So basically when my daughters birthday was over, we had a stupid slide inflated, with no one using it. I do not recommend them, there are other companies that offer inflatable slides, so look elsewere!!

Stay away dont have them deliver anything to your home go with another company.Its full of young people that are very rude and nasty and are put into postilions in the company where it goes to there haed and will treat you very rudely if you dont kiss there buttsi reserved a water-slide and paid my deposit, the next day a young girl called me and said that slide was not available but they had one that was $100 more and bigger. i told them i could not fit that on my property and i did not have that much money. they chose to be nasty with me instead of working with me. finely i got a person that claimed to be a manager on the phone who was just as argumentative but agreed to lower the price after pleading my case to her, about a 1/2 hour later they called and canceled my order. claimed it was an owners choice i place a bad review on yelp and the next day these same young people sent me a message on yelp threatening me and said they were keeping my money, i have had to file charges, file restraining order because they said we know where you live ass holei was threatened by there employees.wow a company that supports threats and violance when there in the wrong.is this what you want around your child?First of all they do Mass hiring in the spring and do not do any background checks on their employees they hire addicts to supervise your children while playing on their inflatable equipment. Playing on water slids with pools and no one is CPR, or life guard certafid. Personally I would like the self satisfaction of knowing the adult supervising my child is receving is not a convicted criminal or a drug addict thats going to OD on my property wile going to the bathroomSecond of all their staff are all very young kids with very rude attitudes that think its ok to be smart mouth with you, they do not care if your a customer. They just dont care, its a summer job.If you use this company beware please. Its not a safe adult environment, ask lots of quections. Ask for the background of the employees that are coming to your home to interact with your child. Ask if there qualified and certified in first aid and CPR. They should be.Ask too see them. Dont take there word for it, theyll lie to you.

Customer Service stinks. I called to see if I could get a discount on the rental of two items in one day or if I could stagger the arrival of the items. The girl rudely told me they dont give any discounts, the special pricing is for weekdays only and that if I wanted staggered deliveries, I would need to pay for delivery. I have never rented an inflatable. I want a water slide and bouncy house, she didnt even try to earn my business by saying, Gee, Im really sorry but we are firm on our pricing (because we can be) but we do have a 5-in-1 combo that could give you the best of both worlds. This is after I sent an email over 24 hours ago with no response and had to call myself to try and get questions answered and possibly book. Its a real shame when someone does so well in business, earning business goes out the window. Shame on them.
