As a member of the FWCC, I was moved to join as my Mother was a former member. The club has potential for growth & I am looking forward to other women to join us as we pull together to support the Community. Both independently and supporting existing nonprofits. Important culturally to Frederick City to support this club.

As a member of Frederick Womens Civic Club in Frederick City, this is a historically significant organization in the community. We volunteer for numerous projects for many different causes that can be local, national and international. FWCC is based on the preservation of the Steiner House where our meetings are held. Where historically women came together to serve the community when there were not many services to support the community, this organization of caring women continue to serve the community in many unique ways that may appear to be traditional. A lot of handmade crafts and handmade contributions to donations and fund raisers! A reminder that our contributions can be local and unique. The connection of people who care for each other is wonderful! This reminds us in our busy day to day to make our community and preservation a priority! As a 2nd generation FWCC member, this is a special honor to be apart of such a wonderful local organization!
