Great place to perform and to watch performances.

Various events held at this revitalized, historical building

At first glance it seems there is a lush backdrop of verdant bowers upon which performers might give a show, unencumbered by a flat stage and instead rising into the air on terraced platforms. However, those verdant bowers are simply a decorative bit of wooden scaffolding that stands beside a small, ground-level space large enough for a small ensemble that does not need a backstage space. The seating is a construction of wooden steps stretching across one wall, able to seat about 70 people comfortably. The space is very misleading.

The place is nice but not for large groups of people , street parking .

This place was super neat! The space is smaller than I imagined but is very cool, and theyre always having great events.

Unique and lively. Varied performances and events.

Simple but elegant the stage was a great venue. Just be prepared to sit on hard benches and theres no ceiling so be conscious of the weather.

Lovely outdoor theater for live music or play which facilitates good people interactions. Only drawback is that its weather dependent and subjects to the disturbance of ordinary city noises such as ambulance siren, etc.

This is not simply an art gallery as the description states. It is a temporary public art installation and community art space. Frederick Arts Council oversees the programming, much of which is in partnership with other organizations or submitted by the public and includes concerts, open mics, literature and poetry readings, salsa dance nights, comedy, drum circles, film, yoga, artisan markets, fine art installations, theatre and more. Sky Stage was created by artist Heather Theresa Clark from a pre-revolutionary building owned by neighboring Geneco (General Engineering Company, founder Harold Rusty Hauver) that had lost its roof and second floor in a fire in 2010.
