I just picked up two items I took for framing. One was a pair of old chaps. The lady that works there has a great eye and helped me pick out the frame and did a wonderful job mounting them on the embossed vinyl I took for the backdrop. It looks absolutely amazing. I am so happy with the result and cant wait to get it up on the wall. She also framed and matted a drawing of my husbands brothers work. It turned out great. just what I asked for. For the size and of the frame and the quality of the work they are very reasonable. I highly recommend.

The owner is really super nice but who ever put this frame together and stretched the canvas did a bad job. Its loose and they must have made the frame a little larger than needed. They didnt go back and shorten it a half inch or so they used colored markers to hide where the canvas wraps around the frame . They tried to blend it in with the painting. One corner looks to have been dragged and another corner wasnt folded correctly. It cost me $270 and took a week to get back. Very upsetting. I drove all the way from Granbury because I thought they knew what they were doing being in the business for a long time. Look at the recent photos section in the review. Its the long picture of the Grand Canyon . Very poor build quality.

The service is always amazing. No pressure sales staff. I use them for ALL my framing, matting, mounting needs. Reasonable prices that truely cant be beat for the quality. I have other framed pictures reframed for less here or remounted here depending on how badly the craft store staff framed or mounted our pictures.

Do not go here. If I could give 0 stars, I would.We took the print we bought from our wedding venue here, as well as a white border that we used as our wedding ‘guestbook’ that House of Frames originally measured and sold to us. When we opened up the original packaging of the print, there was as a small blemish from the cover..this was about the size of a dry erase marker tip. They said “we can fix that”. Assuming they knew what they were doing, we said ok. We were told it would be ready in one week.. 2.5 weeks later we get a call to pick it up. We arrive and our small spot in a blue sky is now 8x8 “cloud” area. Also, guess what-the signature border isn’t even in the frame and when I asked about it, their reply was “I thought surely you didn’t want that.” They put the signature border in the frame but now the frame doesn’t fit.. The lady offered 30% off the frame but just kept saying “sorry there’s nothing we can do” in regards to the actual print. I understand the sentiment has no value, but it now looks worse than it did before and there was no communication throughout the whole process.The owner would not even come out to address the issue, but instead left his employee out by herself. I had to go back and just ask if that’s how he ran his business. He stood there and rolled his eyes while saying “what do you want me to do about it.” The fact they cared zero percent is the most frustrating. 30% off the frame is what we were offered. Not what we are looking for.Horrible place horrible people working there. We tried to shop local but should have gone to Hobby Lobby or Michael’s.

Went to Michaels first, then to House of Frames. Price was much cheaper than Michaels, staff was very friendly and helpful. Michaels had a 2 week wait time, House of Frames was 1 week, and finished a day earlier. Michaels does take a digital photo to show you the matting and frame variations which is a very nice feature, but I will be going back to House of Frames. Thank you!

Not bad work here, but make sure that you indicate you want all conservation material on your framing if you care about your artwork.
