I really love coming here with my son and also to workout. I usually go early in the morning around 7 or 8 and there is plenty of parking. If you go later in the day or evening it can get really packed. The great thing is there are always cops patrolling the area as well for safety. Its very clean as well. Youre kids can also play or ride their bikes. There is also a nearby park as well. You can also walk into old town from the bridge as well or you can walk the bridge into Maryland. In all is a great location.

Man. Lots of space. Walking for days. And I was just under the bridge. Bathrooms, sitting areas, little play place, basketball courts, lots of skateboard, and cycling space. Fishing. View of the water looking over at national harbor. The smell of honeysuckle. Marshland. Im definitely going back

An intriguing part of being in and around our nations capital I have never actually seen the drawbridge in the up position and the ship passing through that would definitely be something I would like to see and I will keep on my bucket list.

This is a small, but lovely little park that has great locations for picnicking and walking. There are public restrooms, basketball hoops, and playground equipment. The small paths are quaint and a great walking or jogging location. Make sure to visit the small lighthouse by the water. Great parking and access to the bike path to either Mt. Vernon, Old Town and DC or over the bridge to National Harbor.

Wonderful bridge, very stable. Such a popular attraction in the area that it tends to be very crowded during rush hour.

Great bridge! Drove right over it. No tolls and it didnt break! Very happy it didnt break and very convenient to drive on a bridge instead of through the water.

Be careful and alert. Closest thing to driving in a NASCAR race in DC. People drive fast furious jump in and out of lanes. When visiting relatives up north coming back and using the stretch of highway is a bear and challenging because youre at The bitter end of the trip and tired and facing the mess on this stretch of road.

Bridges arent a topic that is usually of any interest. But the WW Bridge is a design gem that connects Virginia to MD. It is a drawbridge that opens occasionally for tall ships. Pedestrian/bike path, beautifully landscaped overlook with descriptive signs. Underneath on the Virginia side are basketball courts and plenty of room for fishing.

Its a bridge that lets you go over water without getting wet. Its a nightmare during rush hours.

The Virginia side of the bridge in Alexandria, overlooks Jones Point. This was the cornerstone of the 1st Federal City Washington, DC. The lighthouse still stands, along with boundary markers before land divisions between Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Trails, playgrounds, public restrooms all can be found within walking distance.

A crash in the wrong lane will definitely make you 2 hours late on a Monday. And there is no escape path to change between local and through traffic.

Nice bridge, its sturdy and holds up to horrible accidents and peoples litter. Never seen it drawn up but always take a peak at the National Harbor and the airliners flying close above.
