As a theatre teacher who has had the honor of watching many of these young performers grow up -- I cant brag enough about CSA. Not only is it an educational setting where students are gaining the skills and experience to further their training into college and/or professionally -- but it is also a top-notch theatre company where the students are performing with full sets, lights, costumes, sounds, etc. Everyone at CSA who signs up for a class/camp has the opportunity to be in the program!I have watched students who were so shy audition for only a small part in the ensemble because they were too nervous to do more. Throughout that shows rehearsals I watch those same students blossom into more confident performers and shake away that fear of performing in front of others. In fact, many times those students come back for more shows and even end up being some of our lead actors/actresses! And because our program covers Preschool through High School -- it is a joy watching these students develop over all of those years. I am going on my 10th year of teaching with this program and some of those students I taught my first year in 2010 are still with us and creating amazing theatre! Many other students Ive taught in the last 9 years have gone on to study theatre in college and some are even working as performers!
