I really like the north side trails. There are 2 options. The first is a mapped path which consists of Sandy paths in saw palmetto and loops back around to the parking lot (super easy and quick). There is a second more hidden marked county trail which follows tenmile creek towards 95. This trail is mid level expertise hiking and requires some agility but is absolutely worth it! There are small climbs and descents into dry creek beds and along tenmile creek. There are amazing old oak growth forests, ash and fern valleys. Following the markers you pass under the turnpike. Keep your eyes out for wild orange and tangerine trees on the creek side which provide an delightful mid journey refreshment. Lots to see birds, snakes, and tortoises. Good tracks to identify and lots of snails and fish on the creek. WEAR BUG SPRAY! This is a wet and slightly muddy trail in some areas so wear good hiking shoes. I would love it if some local knew the name of this trail. This trail is not on the Gordy Preserve map however, there are St Lucie County Trails markers guiding the way. Whats the name?

Nice disc golf course. Bathrooms were closed while we were there and a few holes were underwater from recent rains, but we enjoyed ourselves and will be back.

This is a good disc golf course when the season is dry. I would not recommend it when wet.

Beautiful place to start the Ten Mile Creek Hike to George LeStrange preserve... there ARE alligators so keep your kids in sight and away from waters edge 100%.Spending more time here lately for exercise... nice place to walk and relax... almost always empty and peaceful.Bathrooms are NEVER open so be prepared to drive out a mile or so if necessary.

Last outing it was under water, but now its great walking. Still no wildlife around lake. Following the frisbee golf takes you in the woods. The designated trail was nice and sandy. On the back of the trail it connects with st lucie county trail system which is very scenic and shaded. That was a nice hike. Up, down, around, ducking, walking across a fallen tree. No bugs, great time.

The pond clean and looks like it could hold big fish. Disk Golf course was ready for use. Clean and will be back.

Beautiful serenity. They have restrooms but they are locked on weekends not sure about through the week. Great quite place with a disc golf course.

Gordy Disc Golf park is great! 18 holes of pro and amateur tees. The holes are very well maintained by the local club. The course has very difficult roughs which make it tough for a flat florida course

Disc golf is long and fairly straight. The grass is well groomed. Beware the wind and frequent water hazards. Also, you may find snakes in the reeds. Full of adventure.

A hidden gem. Weve lived here for decades and only recently discovered this park. The disc golf course looked well maintained but there were many miles of well kept trails to explore as well as picnic areas and a few pavilions. The dock and lake served great as a spot for some maternity photos.

Lightly used good for quiet private walk or playing this golf

Its ok, mainly just a disk golf course. Lots of tall brush and places to loose your disks. At least 4 holes have water hazards. Not your beginner course. Signs are not posted correctly on a couple holes! But its a free park and is still fun.

We have visited this well hidden place over the past few years for geocaching. It has very nice trails and open spaces because of the disk golf course around a small lake.

Great disc golf course. As the UDisc app suggests, it has a lot of diversity. The water isnt too much of a hazard and the views and nearby highway offer a nice background. Very fun!!

Pleasant hike & informative trail-side signs of vegetation however, signs need wipe down for better readability & restrooms need to be unlocked during recreation area hours.
