Learned so much here! We could benefit for them to bring back the CCC for our young men today. So many looking for work and can’t find it. Willing to do the labor and so many places could uses it! These men were amazing!!

Quaint little museum at the old entry to DeSoto State Park. Provides a great history of the park and of the Civilian Conservation Corp who built the park. The museum is only open on Saturday for limited hours but is a must see if youre in the area!

The museum is only open on weekends! They are looking for volunteers to staff the museum. It was closed during our visit so I’m not sure what’s inside. I gave it three stars for simple reason that they even have this museum. The Civilian Conservation Corp is forgotten history. The only reason I was familiar with it was because my Dad was in it.
