Recently came here for drinks and a sushi roll, the manager was a tool and tried to overcharge us for drinks. I saw him pouring drinks for staff members and have heard this location often serves alcohol to minors. I will not be going back. If you want good sushi, go somewhere else. If you want good affordable drinks downtown, go to so-ho.

Favorite sushi place in town. Love the endless lunch deal. Beautiful atmosphere and ambiance.I have been to both locations (downtown & McGregor) and no complaints.

I was at Blu sushi in Downtown Ft. Myers recently. I am a 24 year-old white male with long hair, I was with a 24 year-old hispanic woman and another white female who is 22 years-old. We ordered drinks and food. The manager then came out and refused service to us without explanation and charged us for the service he refused. I asked for the managers name but he gave me a false name of Joseph Smith but his name was actually Barry Dupuy (not sure on the correct spelling.) They also put a drink down in front of our friend at the table and did not ID her. This all happened after an hour of us being there.Overall, between the service and the manager this place is not one I would recommend to a friend or colleague.

8/31/2020 found this in my spicy butterfly. called left message no one got back to me. I still dont know what this is but it was in my mouth and it was hard like a rock.

Normally I dont post negative information about restaurants because I was in the business and I know how difficult it is. I gave Blu Sushi 3 different attempts and my fiance got food poisoning once and all 3 meals were horrible. This may have been a good restaurant at one time but it definitely is not anymore. Sushi is not a very difficult thing to screw up but they figured out a way to do it 3 times in a row. We even bought something cooked once and it was inedible. Will not go back again!

Dam that’s some of the best sushi ever!! And we should know. The salad dressing is light and tangy not too much ginger like most. Zulu shrimp tempura cooked perfectly. Fresh delish and nice people. Nicole was our server. She was awesome! Very worth the experience.

This place is amazing. Visiting from michigan. Waitress is very friendly. This is my favorite sushi place. All you can eat. Plus great tasting sushi..

Still a great place to go with a nice environment and wonderful, fresh sushi and sashimi. Slightly above average pricing but their $3 dollar sushi during happy hour (3 to 6pm) brings it squarely into the awesome price range.

This is a very nice place for sushi. However, we came on Superbowl Sunday. There were 4 tables occupied inside and 1 outside so not too busy at 5:30 PM. The service was very slow. There were 3 servers & a busser. It took 10 minutes to get our drinks (a Miller Lite & ice tea). After ordering the food, it took 20 minutes+ to get a spicy tuna roll, a special crab roll and a spicy salmon roll. The sushi was very good so worth the wait. Luckily we were not in a hurry. We would like to return. SO be prepared.

Relaxed ambient, we love the proyector, sushi is excellent. Good service always.

The food was good but unfortunately I will also say that when we walked in it took more than 3 minutes for any of the employees to acknowledge my party of 7 for seating .Not even A “hello” , or a “one moment please” was said. I would have given the benefit of the doubt if it was busy at least , but that wasn’t the case .

I eat in this spot a lot since I work right next to it. I have to say their customer service is always excellent and they keep the place well organized regularly. Prices are reasonable and they serve large portions.

Wonderful atmosphere with tasty food and service was great.

Came for lunch and we are super happy with it. The miso soup was great, and the rolls were too! We got the endless lunch sushi special and it was so worth it for how hungry we were.

Came here on a Monday for EndlessBlu and it wasnt busy at all but took forever. Im talking 30 minutes between plates. I hope the owners see this so they can improve. Disappointing having spent our money here. They could be, and should be better. On top of this, they got both my wifes and my orders wrong (and it wasnt a case of giving her my plate, and vice versa). The orders were just wrong. And we didnt want to wait for them to fix it because it took so long as is. Our waitress was amazing, trying to make things right, but the cooks just couldnt get anything right. I really do hope the best for this place, but our experience here was not good. The food itself was good, but not worth the wait.

No masks on waitstaff! Are they serious? This place should be shut down for violating CDC guidelines during a global pandemic! We walked away immediately and will tell everyone we know about their lack of common sense and safety.

After reading all the good reviews, we decided to go try it out. Well, to tell you the truth, if youre planning to come here today, DONT! We werent even greeted and had to go inside to ask if we could eat. The waiting staff (girl) who was setting up the tables did not greet or say a word while she was at our table. NOT A WORD!! Or she had a bad night/day, moody or whatever, but we definitely werent welcome there. So we left and went elsewhere.Not coming back! Since we travel a lot, we know there are far much better sushi restaurants with good service!! So disappointed!

I absolutely love the Zuzu shrimp just wishing it was a consistent price for some reason it is always different.

Great spot for trendy food. Had a couple of tasty rolls. Service was excellent. Decor is fashion forward with projectors and lots of accent lighting. Is this sushi or south beach night club? With drinks and tip spent about $35 a head.

We went there on a Friday night at 9:45pm. There were 6 open tables inside which they claimed were reserved. AT 10PM AT NIGHT????. Said we had to eat outside. We sat at an outside table that needed to be cleared. We waited 15 min. And no one showed up . Obviously they do not need business. If their service is any indication of their food, then we didnt miss anything.

I stopped by with my kids and we sat at an outdoor table. We were the only ones there at that time. I asked for two bowls of plain white rice and some water. We were given rice that was flavored with something like broth and very salty, and a 28 ounce bottle of fancy springwater. The kids couldnt eat the rice, because they are strict vegan, so I sent it back. The first server said not to worry about it, no charge. A different server returned with a bill for the water and the rice, and after I gave a modest tip, it still cost me $15. All I got for that was a single bottle of water. The water was not special, but cost $6 alone.This was a very disappointing experience, and I will not likely return to this place. I definitely can not recommend it.

Food was ok but horrible service when it wasnt busy yet. Used to be good, had gone 4 or 5 times no issues, however a light switch turned off and so did the service. This was a giving it another chance time and it was no better than the last time. Should have known when we walked in at 12:30pm and there were only 4 people there.

Wait staff is very friendly and attentive. But, for the price Blu charges you would expect higher quality sushi. Ambiance is so so. You can get the same great service with a lower price at many other sushi places. I eat a lot of sushi in the Ft Myers Cape Coral area. Blu is one of, if not the most expensive and I find no difference in the food quality. They are, however, located in areas where its trendy to spend more and be flashy.If you are just looking to have some good sushi choose another place. If you are looking to impress a date with your wallet, Blus the place.

The food is pretty good but the all you can eat sushi doesn’t offer enough options for me like their competitors. Very attractive spot to have a martini and hang out with friends. Love the way they light up the walls inside with the projector.

Unprofessional and illegal practices are taking place here. We came with a group of 4 and the food was not the issue. The problem we noticed was the staff was taking shots with one of the patrons sitting at the bar. According to state law, employees are not allowed to consume alcohol while on the clock. We sat in one of the booths and watched the bartender (blonde with braids) and the manager (longer brown hair) take shots of alcohol while working. This practice is not ethical, unsafe and goes against state laws. The owner should be made aware. The incident took place on the night of January 11 2020.

Nice place, they do have a good happy hour menu, I suggest asking because our server failed to let us know we made it in at happy hour but our bill was a nice surprise! Lol we got the happy hour pricing. Will go again sometime.

Love this place as long as I can sit outside. The staff is friendly (Thanks Sylvie!) And the food delicious. The PB & J is a new favorite. Others include the Volcano and Lava Drops. Lovely sidewalk dining on a Wednesday night. Highly recommend!

Excellent food and staff. My husband and I eat here pretty frequently and have never had a bad experience. Tonight we were just ordering dinner when my diabetic husband suddenly began having a low blood sugar attack. The staff were very accommodating....they brought him a glass of orange juice and the very friendly male manager allowed my husband to lay down on one of the booths. Hats off to the staff! Thanks for another great experience at your restaurant!!

Me and my girlfriend got sushi and a dumpling appetizer we loved the dumplings. We didn’t care for the sushi and the waitress was kind enough to take it off the bill. Very nice atmosphere.

Stopped in for lunch and really enjoyed the food and ambience. Its laid back and has projectors displaying various backgrounds. The music is upbeat and inviting. Service was also good, food came out quickly, and was delicious. I got a mango martini which was really tasty and strong. All day happy hour did not disappoint. I also got the blu special which I was surprised by the amount of shrimp and scallops. I also got the lava cake. Everything was really good. They have awesome lunch specials, but I felt like splurging today.

We always love coming here. It is always clean and the waiters are awesome!

The downtown location makes the meh service bearable. Cool vibe. Food has always been good at this small chain of sushi restaurants. Signature rolls are tasty and the shashimi is fresh and well portioned.

To start this place is so beautiful. Its very clean and the staff are amazing. The cocktails were made to perfection and the food was outstanding. My husband got the Zulu shrimp and it was just so crunchy yet juicy. I got the Sugar Momma and that too was delicious. I would recommend thus place to anybody and everybody!!

This restaurant is awesome! The food was great quality and flavor and it came out quickly. The interior is so cool and interesting. Makes for a fun lunch or romantic dinner. Our waitress was a sweet heart. Would def recommend!
