I was in Xcel Silver when we started having problems at this gym. I was at this gym for 4 years and was very pleased until things started getting messy. After our wonderful coach and her daughter left, we had a ballerina coach replace her. She had to use a BOOK to teach us. After we had many other problems, we decided it was time to go to another gym. We gave them a 2 week notice while we were checking out the new gym. As soon as they found out, the owner kicked us out of the gym and we could not go back to practice. It was a very disrespectful and childish way to handle the situation and we are not thrilled. We have moved on from this gym and I am now doing successful about 3 years later at Gymnastics World in Fort Myers. Many gymnasts and coaches have left that gym for a very good reason and many of them have come to Gymnastics World. This gym might be good for some people but I would 100% recommend Gymnastics World.May I add that they kicked us out right before our state meet and did not refund us in any way and the coach that I said left was heartbroken at the fact that we could not go so she took us. Not happy with this gym at all. It is also very dirty and not well kept.

Wonderful place. Just wish I would have gotten more info in beginning. I didnt even know you can have more than one class. Other than that staff is super nice and my child loves to go.

This gym has become one of my daughter’s favorite places. The coaches care about meeting the gymnasts where they are and they have instilled a sense of confidence and independence in my 5 year old. Highly recommend for camp and classes.

After two years of classes at this gym we have decided to switch our children to a new gym. It seems as though no one cares about the recreational classes. Once in two years my daughter leveled up, and not ever did a coach come out to tell me about the progress or things she might need to work on. Coaches tend to do more standing around then actually coaching. Waiting room and bathrooms are always dirty and you can barely see your children on the TV screens provided.

Just do your own investigation. Go and look on kids gymnastics level in all other gyms, like I did, and you will understand where is the best gym for real gymnastic.

They are racist and lack professionalism. My daughter was very excited to attend her first class, which I had enrolled her the day prior. They told me to come in at 7:30 the following day. I show up at 7:15 and signed in. They told me to have a seat and wait to be called. So my daughter and I are waiting for about an hour and 15 minutes, and we still arent being called. I told my daughter to go and ask how much longer is the wait, to which the staff replied what do you want?... (my daughter is 10). My daughter politely asks if she knew how much longer is the wait, then she says that they had already called her and she would have to reschedule. Not once did they call us, nor did we see anyone else in the waiting area but us. The whole time we were there no one had acknowledged us, even when we saw staff members walking in and out of the door. They were very rude! We will be taking our business elsewhere, its obvious they have something against hispanics.

Both of my girls (age 2&4) have had wonderful experiences in the parent and child & toddler classes. The coaches are both caring and experienced! Theyre always learning new skills and come home excited to show me their new tricks in the backyard. You wont find another gym in the area that can compare!

My son loved the summer camp. However I found their security to be very lax, in a scary way. And their staff, while some were nice, many were very un-enthusiastic, bossy and commanding towards the kids, unfriendly and even downright rude. The gym also smells and is usually dirty and the environment cluttered. When I came to pick up on more than one occasion, people who dont know me, who I have never seen before simply asked are you mom? And sent me back to retrieve my own kid - and the counselor let him go to me... The front desk staff didnt even watch while I walked out with him, after failing to ID me and allowing me to retrieve him myself. I could have been a non-custodial parent or someone else who was taking advantage of their poor security & that scares me.My son really wants to go back to this camp, but because of the lax security even after several complaints, I dont think we will be going back. Perhaps if they fix the issues, I would recommend it because my son had such a good time there. But as is, I dont recommend it for camp.

I work 6 days a week, i simply forgot to make the payment, no phone call or email they just kicked my 7 year old out of class. She found out by going to her class and they told you are not in the class anymore. I would have paid what i missed and any late fees happily but i couldnt, i had to re enroll her because they kicked her out. So she will be going to TopGun which is clean and friendly.

Coast Elite is one of the longest operating gyms in the area and it is regularly in the newspaper for the success of their athletes. Coaching staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The gym provides a safe environment for toddlers to teens to learn about gymnastics.Classes Offered:Mommy/Daddy and Me (infant/toddler)ToddlerGymnastar (introductory boys/girls or girls only)Boys (introductory boys only)TumblingCheer/TumblingCompetitive Class:Level 2 - EliteOnly thing I can say negative is that gymnastics is a very physical sport and injuries happen more often than people assume. Also because of the chalk used to keep hands dry when using the bar-apparatus there tends to be some chalk dust suspended in the air (but I believe thats rather unavoidable, same thing happens at rock climbing gyms).

We held a birthday party and signed up for recreational classes here.Pros: The teachers seem to be nice to the kids. My child enjoys it.Cons: Classes: The gym takes a highly impersonal approach to the kids in the recreational classes. Teachers never introduce themselves or give feedback to the parents. It is hard to see what your child is doing through the windows or on the cameras. Parents are not allowed into the gym, so you never really know what your money is going towards. It seems to me that there is barely any attention paid to skill development if your child is not on one of their teams. The kids on the team get the run of the equipment and the recreational classes get pushed aside to whatever happens to be available or leftover. I feel that we are second class citizens, rather than valued customers. I see the way the parents and kids on the team get treated and the recreational kids are clearly unimportant in comparison. Finally, I understand that it is a gym, but it does seem like it is rarely cleaned. The bathrooms are definitely gross and often have no soap or paper towels.Birthday Party:pros: a fun time was had by the kids. The teachers helped with setting up the tables and cleaning up.Cons: Teachers were not particularly friendly at the party and did not really jump into making the party fun and enthusiastic. The major con was that the air conditioning was only just turned on when the party began - not enough time to cool down a big gym space. It was disgustingly hot and probably dangerous for the kids to be running around and exerting themselves in that heat. It was super uncomfortable for parents to be in the gym area with the kids in that heat.
