I have to say I have gone to several concerts now at the Ranch and I went to the one lastnight and I had to leave early because the sound system in there just is not very good for a band. I don’t know what it is if it’s to loud or the sound bounces off the walls but u really can’t hear the music separately it all grumbles together. I keep going hoping they’ve figured out a way to make it sound better but this time I paid the $$ and left before the main concert because it just sounds blah. I have to say I probably won’t be back I wish they would set something up outside for some of the big names coming next year because I want to come back but don’t like the sound inside!

Really nice place! It is very spacious inside they have 2 bars, a really nice dance floor and pool tables. They do line dancing during the week and have events regularly . We went for a show and had a blast would definitely recommend going here!

This is the place to go. The best venue a round. Great seats, huge dance floor good cocktails..... you want it they got it. We met some fun people. Cant wait until next good band plays.

I’ve been to several concerts at The Ranch and I enjoy this venue.  It’s centrally located and easy to get to from any part of SWFL.  The sound has been good and it’s a decent size inside.  My only complaint is that beverages tend to be on the pricey side.

Came out to see Everlast, and I enjoyed the setup here. Tables are setup near the bar area, and theres a giant open floor for dancing, and its right in front of the stage.My only gripe is that when Whitey Ford hit a high note at the end of his song, there was major bleeding from the mic. It was just loud noise. Whether it was from the mic or the speakers, it didnt sound great. Otherwise, the sound quality was pretty good.

Great venue. Saw Sebastian Bach on November 1. Up close and personal. Floor and bathrooms were clean.

What an awesome experience this country bar is. We went for the Billy Currington concert and it was great. They have a huge dance floor and a couple different bars. The decor is amazing. This place is a must if you like country music and line dancing.

We like this place for concerts but something makes us not want to return after our last concert... on a none concert night a bucket of Corona is $20 per the sign on the wall... and the cover is a minimal amount... but when you purchase sometimes pricey tickets for a concert on a concert night and the tickets are $25, 35... and much more depending on level of ticket purchased.. the price for a bucket now goes up to $30!?! And if you buy a bucket ots the same price as if you bought all 5 beers individually... So the more you pay to get in, the more the beer cost, lets punish the higher paying customers and help out the cheaper paying customers? Or does the beverage market charge you more due to there being a concert? Just seems like you would either leave the price the same for any time.. its the same beer from a none concert night to a concert night.. seems like a little bit of Price gouging. But we do like concerts here for sure.. just didnt make sense to us..

Was a nice place and the bartenders in the very back of the bar were very nice and always talking with us . The only problem was , was the drinks were beer and not a very big verity of liquor. But as I said I really liked this place. Music was very good always . Id go back again .

Nice place, they have some amazing artist perform but the sound system is horrible. I have went to several thinking maybe the first time was the artist was older and lost his tough but when the third one was one I just heard 2 months earlier I knew it was just this place making it bad. Would love to go back but they need to fix the sound.

I have been here a couple of times for concerts. I wont go back again for a concert. Both times the sound has been so loud it reverberates and then you cant really hear the music. I even used ear plugs and it was still offensive. Loud isnt better. Loud doesnt compliment the musicians. We are in an enclosed room, we are all right there, how loud does it need to be?Stevie Nicks Tribute band and Clay Walker would have been much more enjoyed had the volume been turned down to a comfort level, less bass and less feedback. We could actually have heard the music.

Casual, smaller venue, maybe 10,000 sf.. bar and snack.. smoking permitted.. will definitely come again!

This Clay Walker concert was superior to me and being second in line for opening,I was able to have great seating.

Its a nice place to go to have a few drinks and party on the dance floor, play pool and hang out. The bartenders are very nice too.

Went to upchurch tonight me and 3 other ppl was standing outside and they was sold out so couldn’t let us in, we watched over 40 ppl leave and they still wouldn’t let us come in literally 4 ppl..... we offered to pay extra to see him and still no... but at least the door staff was nice lol would of loved to see upchurch so if u plan on going to a concert there but ur tix ahead of time we stood outside over a hour and the guys that was there stood there for hours before we even got there!!! But still like it would of hurt to let 4 ppl in the building after we have stood an watched ppl leave and get kicked out.

This is a great place to go hear live music. I saw Badfish here and had a blast. The place is huge.

Mind blowing that this is in the heart of Fort Myers... very unassuming but almost like a Harry Potter novel, the inside is wayyy bigger than you would believe looking from the outside.

A little Smokey inside from the cigarette smokers but the set up and stage made for a great view of performers regardless of where you were in the house. Sound system was adequate and bartenders were fast (you didnt have to wait or try repeatedly to get their attention) and all staff were very nice to patrons.

Great dance hall. Get better bands!!

Music is great here, good sound quality! The tap water used to make ice and mixs however left my $18 worth of 2 drinks on the bar.

So I’ve only been in Wednesday’s when it’s all ages night so it might be different other nights. However, You know how every place has pros and cons? Well the only con I can think of makes 100% sense but we will get there later on. Pro number one: everyone is so nice. The people that go there, the staff (GO CAROLE!!!!). Litterally just amazing bunch of people. Pro number two: the staff (and literally everyone else) will show you how to line dance. So the staff will teach two songs that many people don’t know which is lovely and easy enough a 10 year old can get it. But throughout the night they play songs that most people know the dance to and if you don’t know it literally anyone on the floor will teach you. The bathrooms are super clean and the entire place inside and out is clean. Okay so to the pro that makes sense so we can all go on with our day. At like 1030 they kick Everyone under 21 out which makes sense because hello curfew but sucks when you’re older than all your friends. So I suggest you come on a Wednesday and enjoy your night. I know I’m there almost every Wednesday enjoying my time and I’m confident you will too.

Seen Everlast here. Great show. Bar charged me more than tab was after the fact. Didnt bother investigating. Just pay in cash for each round of drinks and youll be safe

I visited The Ranch to see Lee Brice. Overall the visit wasnt bad. There are several bars located throughout the venue, and I didnt really see any issues with people getting served in a timely manner. And, it is pretty roomy inside. Obviously it can get crowded around the stage areas, but you can still comfortably move around. The sound in the venue is decent. It is much better near the stage, but in the back it can be hard to hear. The acoustics of the building dont help much. If you are in the back, they project the act on stage to 4 large screens on either side of the venue. But, they are off to the side, not straight on with the stage,I was invited to the show so I didnt pay for entry, but I know you can get in by purchasing a general admission, or even renting a table. The venue has some nice decorations. There is a wall of guitars, the beds of pickup trucks that act as seating, an old truck turned bar, and the center of the venue mimics a ranch with its farm style fencing and wooden barrels.If you decide to go to the Ranch, you might want to consider carpooling. It took me about 10 minutes to find a parking spot, and thats only because someone had left. Some people parked offsite, and walked over to the venue.I probably wont go back unless I am invited to another show. I dont want to deal with the hassle of parking, and its really not my scene. But, it was a good time, and plenty of people seemed to have fun.

We had a small girls night out and went to see Mr. Stone preform. We had a ton of fun and the cover band was amazing as well. We will definitely come again to see others play.

Allow smoking inside. Do not open doors even a few minutes early although line is wrapped around the parking lot in a downpour. I gave them three stars only because they book some really awesome bands, make a really good premium margarita and have a great open dance floor

Traveled from St petersburg to see Casey Donahew at the Ranch and we had a great time..

The place itself is great. A little Smokey for my taste. My only problem were the drinks are way overpriced do not run a tab because 8 vodka tonics shouldnt cost 120 bucks. You live and you learn

We saw Upchurch in February and besides the fact that your car will be towed if you choose to be responsible and uber home or to your hotel, I have zero complaints about the venue.

Great venue. One of my favorites. Usually for country music with live bands on the weekends. Every once a month the bring Mexican Bands which I go to the most. Bar service is good dance space is huge and plenty of sitting area. Couple pool tables. Overall a great place.

Im giving it four stars because its the first time and we there on a Wednesday night, line dancing lessons for all ages. I will reserve a full review for when I can go back another night. Girlfriends and I went there for line dancing and we had a great time. We learned two dances and enjoyed that a lot. It was really awesome to be there on essential a family night with teenagers and twenty-somethings enjoying themselves in a safe fun environment.The line dancing in the end was good but it was very difficult to follow instructors who were up at the front of the room if you are anywhere other than the first few rows. Not sure how they could do that differently but that was just a little bit frustrating.We are already planning our next visit.

The facility is a bit nicer now. Country themed club, and the DJ takes requests. But not enough people go here on non-concert nights, like does nobody ever like a DJ that takes requests and actually plays them? The DJ at Dixie Roadhouse DOES NOT take requests. The DJ here does.

Great place to meet up with friends for live music!

Owner is very nice, place is huge.. bathrooms are ok.. if they didn’t allow SMOKING inside the venue I’d give it 5 stars. They allow people to smoke and blow their disgusting cigarette smoke right into the performers face. Saw this with Cody Jinks and Sunny Sweeney. Both are smokers but I’m sure they don’t appreciate that while they’re performing. The smoking would keep me from returning.

I love the ambiance and spacious dance floor!! Bathrooms are clean considering the amount of traffic during events. My only problem is that now you have to pay to sit around the dance floor. Ive been coming for years and that was our spot until they changed it. Weve done the VIP section and its not worth it! Theres nothing that makes it feel like a VIP experience for the amount of money they charge.

This place was awesome. Had a wonderful time at a Latin Concert that had happened there. The name of the Latin salsa artist was Tito Nieves. That was such a fabulous event.

First time at The Ranch...Dance instructor was great! Everyone super friendly. Now its my weekly go to for line dancing twice a week. Go alone or with friends either way youll be comfortable.

Great place to dance and listen to music if you dont want to be bothered. Line dance instructor Ivy was very professional and good teacher. Dj will play just about whatever you ask. Dance floor is huge and clean. I had a few complaints here. When walking in I was told at the door, well this is a good as it gets without a concert so I hope you like it.. really? There were about 20 people inside the 2 hours I stayed. Secondly the bar tenders were rude as hell and were upset if you asked for a drink. And dont ask for a mixed drink, that makes it even worse. Place has the potential of being a number 1 country dance bar but the ownership appears to have no drive outside of concerts... shame its a nice place.

Great venue for live concerts and plenty of seating and open space for crowds. Lots of bar space too so never a wait for a beverage. Limited menu available so might want to eat elsewhere before a show. The biggest drawback to the venue is how smoky it gets so if you are sensitive to that you will be very uncomfortable. Parking is plentiful as well.

Sir-Mix-A-lot was a great time. I would give it 5 stars this venue often has good performers, staff is nice but drinks are on the pricier side. $42 for a bucket of beer.. Because of the drink prices its a 3 star

I went to the ranch for the first time to see Jamey Johnson. It was easy to get drinks as they have several bars. The sound quality is not very good. Perhaps if I were closer to the stage it would have sounded better. The place is huge. Plenty of tables and seats.

Was here back in February with some friends on a girls trip...it was a nice place fun line dancing great music and customer service at the bar Also the restroom s were well maintained which is definitely important keep up the great job hope to get back there soon

UNLESS THEY CHANGE SOMETHING VIP DOES NOT MEAN VIP! IT ONLY MEANS A TABLE AND MAYBE CHAIRS. First time and last time, Ive been to other places where VIP means VIP. Strangers wondered around our table the whole night bumping into us, putting empty drinks on our table and trying to take our seats. The VIP needs to be isolated with someone checking tickets for VIP only, maybe a different wristband color. We were never able access to the dance floor, which was the whole purpose of attending. General admission had the whole front area of the dance floor blocked off so no up close experience to Eli Young. I know you wont make everyone happy but when a VIP Table is purchased it should truly mean a VIP experience and some perks other than a table and chairs should be considered.
