Im visiting from out of town so this was my first trip to this park. In previous reviews, I noticed that there was shading over the playground area, however, that shading is no longer available as of April 24, 2019. I came at noon so the playground was a little too hot for my toddler. Its not located in the best of neighborhoods. I have nothing against homeless people, but I figured I should mention that there was a homeless gentleman sitting under the pavilion. There was also a lot of trash around the tables under the pavilion. There is no parking lot structure or restrooms available. Amenities included a walking track with fitness stations, benches, bike rack, a pavilion with tables and chairs, a little library with free books to read, trash and recycling bins and an open play area. This is a pet friendly park. Im rating 3 stars because this park rates average compared to other local parks.

People smoking around park with no kids around so that was frustrating. Not sure why someone would go to a childrens park to smoke. Lots of people walking dogs.

Beautiful park and playground, fun for kids; however, it feels really unsafe. I was just there on Sunday morning and found an used syringe. There were also five homeless man smoking and fighting using bad language which was very disturbing for my kids. We had to leave, not a good situation to for my kids to witness. Such a shame because the park is actually really nice.

This is a cute little park, but it’s not kept up. There was a diaper and trash thrown around. The playground is nice, though. Definitely for kids.

Once you remove the two homeless people sleeping on the bench and a homeless man peeing in a bush, the sounds of a hispanic mother yelling at het two children ring through the air. During broad daylight, there isnt any other place Id rather be! Id be afraid of getting mugged!
