This eloquent little urban area maybe one of Broward Countys hidden gems. Franklin Park seems to cater to all whether you like it rough and tumble or peaceful and Serene you can find it here. I did see at least one park in this area which was pretty alright I dont know however if it belongs to Franklin or not. Locals for the most part keep to themselves and they tended not to wave back at you as youre passing through. In fact the only reaction that I got it all from towns Folk where what seemed to be numerous offers sore staring contests which I found to be quite nice.

The park is a great place to go with the kids, or by yourself. It features a weight room with all the things you need for a good workout. There is a double basketball court with an overhead, so youre not playing under the sun. A medium-sized field in between the main building and the court allows for games such as football, soccer, or kickball. The workers are very friendly, and helpful with whatever comments, questions, or concerns you may have.

The staff is wonderful! The facility has room, and appropriate equipment for folks of all ages. Congrats to Browards Municipal Services District!

My kids played basketball here nice and clean

I grew up in this neighborhood and all I can remember is this park was a mess back then. Its nicely cleaned up now but the neighborhood has not changed. I can remember the drug dealers hanging out at the park and how I used to have to dodge bullets because of an idiot shooting up the park. We lived across the street so was the only place to play growing up.

Had a great time at birthday party even though I was late

We had an event there and the air condition was not working also the floor was not mopped. The year before was ok better than this year.

Great community service.And it helps kids get fit and make them more active.

Great park my kids go to after school care at the park and theyre going to summer camp at this park. They also feed the kids here

Came here for a baby shower. First thing that welcomed me when I walked into the center was the smell. Someone used the center bathroom and the after math was that its smelled like stink. Not much fun when you are breathing in bathroom poop. Need better ventilations please.

Franklin Park is a wonderful facility and park. The park is well maintained and the facility is large enough for big gatherings. The staff is very friendly and willing to assist in setup and tear down for your event.

Approach At your own risk mostly with caution

The actual community center and park are nice and clean. The surrounding neighborhood is not so great.

Perfect size room with a kitchen. Neighborhood was quiet on a Sunday afternoon.

Really nice and clean. Its a hidden gem in that neighborhood. It has a huge basketball court, really nice playground area, and a sitting area to watch the kiddos play.

When I need a phone they let me use it

The function room was a good size holds up to 105 people.

Great place for gatherings, my father has church there every Sunday, well kept and clean great workers there also.

Those guys are wonderful and gentle

I was surprised that Franklin Park was clean in an African American neighborhood. Ppl werent hanging out.
