What I love about being Lioras student is that I get to learn while painting subjects I want to paint. I have really gotten better at painting watercolor by working with her, and have even shown some of my work. She is really great at coaching her students to the next skill level whether you have no experience or have been painting for years. I also love the groups; the women who attend the classes have become friends and we have a lot of fun. I highly recommend her teaching style and the groups.

Ive been taking classes with Liora for almost 20 years. At first privately and then in classes with others. Its not so much that I need the classes, as I have learned so much, but that I enjoy taking them. They are the highlight of my week. Liora is a wonderful teacher and a compassionate, loving person. She allows one to grow as an artist in the way that each individual wants to grow, rather than having everyone doing cookie cutter art. Rather as a therapist helps one to grow as a person.I was painting in several different mediums, but after taking classes with Liora I fell in love with watercolor and she is an extraordinary water colorist. She does teach some other mediums also however. I could go on, but if I praise her too much the classes may be too full! (just kidding, I think!) I recommend her highly.

I am a newbie to painting. I was recommended to Lioras classes by a friend, who like me stated that she couldnt draw! In only a years time, I am loving both the classes and my progress. Liora is an amazing teacher - completely professional, encouraging, patient and persistent! She provides direction and support in gentle and meaningful ways. I am new to watercolor and have totally enjoyed the classes with Liora...the time flies by because there are so many new things to learn. Liora is an excellent teacher who helps when you need it but lets you decide what you want to do. I highly recommend the experience.
