Mother was a great host. We had soo much fun at this place for my birthday. We all enjoyed every second we were there. No complaints whatsoever. Bonus we actually made it out alive! Can say that much for others... ha ha ha. Recommend it to all.

This was my first time being in an escape room and I LOVED it!! I’m hooked!! Lol. I’m definitely going back! I really enjoyed it! There were 3 of us that went and it was a first experience for all of us. It was me, my 16 year old daughter, and her dad.

Really fun and challenging escape room in South Florida! Super detailed rooms and very intricate theming. We did the 80’s themed room and would love to try more. Appreciated the added covid precautions and theming in the waiting area as well.

A super fun experience! We had so much fun the first room that we decided to do another one right after! We won the first but lost the second one! My crew and I do a lot of different escape rooms ! What we loved about this one is that you don’t always need a high tech room to decode a hard puzzle!

Absolutely marvelous little place to kill some time! Me and my friends did the Enter the Nether room and had a blast. A lot of out of the box thinking involved that had us scratching our brains. Would definitely reccomend if in the Fort Lauderdale area!

The escape rooms are very fun. From my experience, the beginning sections are easy, until there is 45 minutes left. Then, the puzzles are much harder and time passes so fast that you can start to sweat. The addition of clues are also nice if you ever need them. The Host “Mother” is incredibly nice and added suspense with the things she says. The room strictly involves communication skills and problem solving skills to open locks and puzzles to exit the final door. Overall, an awesome experience and I highly recommend it.

One of the better escape rooms we have done. They did an amazing job of keeping with the theme from the moment you walk into the place. Hostess was great, the room was challenging but fun, and the ambiance was incredible. One of our guests didnt even want to go in because it looked so scary! Highly recommended! Mother runs a tight ship at the Escape-topia hotel... We came to test our mettle and almost escaped with our souls but the beast was too fast for us! If you like a challenge and great atmosphere, give Escape-topia a try. We had a great time.

This is a comparative rating. Done several escape rooms now. This was the most low tech of the places I’ve been to and least complex puzzles/game play. More focus on finding keys. Mother was very nice and enthusiastic, very into character. I just have had more immersive experiences in other rooms.

LOVE LOVE LOVED IT. I’ve been on a horror escape room kick and I was excited to try EscapeTopia. I went with some friends to do Escape the Beast for an early birthday celebration and was not left disappointed. I was so impressed by the ambiance; I was creeped out the moment I walked in. Mother was also an absolute icon; I wanted to take her home with me (probably not a good idea!). I also received a cute little birthday card, which I thought was very sweet! I will definitely be back to try Enter the Nether and Carnival Macabre—I can’t wait!

Even though it looks scary, This place is amazing!! I totally recommend coming here! my family and I went as a group of 5 last night at around 11:00pm, since the rooms are open pretty late. At first I was super scared...I get scared pretty easily so if you’re nervous..don’t worry it is SO MUCH FUN! We met the owner Marcus and he was super kind even though I was bombarding him with questions about the room we were about to go into. When Marcus told us that him and his brother built the rooms together we were shocked, since the rooms were really well done! I think this place is perfect for all ages. The ambiance of the room really matches the story behind the escape room and we all agreed that it was fully encompassing. I would 100% come here again and I recommend it to anyone passing by! It was a little far of a drive for where in florida we are based, but i was so it is TOTALLY worth it! i do have to say, since we went at night the place was probably 10x creepier. But don’t be nervous, it’s an awesome place on the inside. We’re definitely coming again!

I had so much fun that I had to go back the next night. I did the beast and the nether. Very challenging but very fun. I cant wait to go back and do the last one. We went to the last one and we were the only ones so it was nice and quite. Momma was awesome as well!!

Escape the nether was great! The whole atmosphere of both the room and the entire location was really detailed. Loved the flow of the puzzles in the room. Great for our group of 6 and Marcus was super great. He gave us just enough of a hint to get started, but it still felt like we were the ones solving it.

One of the best escape rooms I’ve ever been to. The owners have put a lot of care and detail into everything. The room was challenging but didn’t feel totally impossible. I want to try their other rooms!

Marcus has created amazing escape rooms! We came back for all 3 of his rooms and thoroughly enjoyed each one of them. The rooms were spooky and challenging, and very well prepared. There are so many small details in the rooms that show how meticulously thought out and creatively they were set up. Marcus was an amazing host too! Loved talking to him the times we went- so personable. We’ve been to at least 4 other escape rooms places, and Escape-topia is by far the best; the only place that kept us coming back.

Wonderful horror themed escape with delightfully spooky staff

Went there with a few of my friends for my birthday. We all loved it so much and Marcus was very friendly. We escaped with 7 mins left to spare. Puzzles were tricky but not impossible. Definitely recommend! He also gave me a pretty cool birthday gift, thanks Marcus! We’ll be back!

Challenging rooms, unique themes.

We are truly impressed. Weve done all 3 rooms here and they are awesome! Very detailed themes. Witty and well put together. The puzzles are challenging, but they make sense and follow a nice flow.Weve been to 9 different escape venues now and weve been disappointed by some, but Escape-topia is our #1 venue because they have a wonderful host, awesome, creepy, and unique themes, and great puzzles. We invited friends, new to escape rooms, and they had a BLAST!To anyone afraid of the themes, they are quite creepy, but not jumpy scary (Im afraid of horror anything and I didnt have nightmares after these games). But definitely creepy enough to make anyone uneasy. Which is a great added component to an escape room, because it definitely made us want to get the heck out of there .Thanks Escape-topia! We cant wait for your new room to open up

Escape haunt was awesome it is a limited time offer in October. They did a really good job. You got to travel through all the escape rooms and it was also like a haunted house. Cant wait too see what they do next year:)

Ten of us went here for my 34th birthday yesterday . It has the best ambience of any escape room Ive been to. We all loved it from the get go. Really gets you into it. The room we did, Escape the Beast, was great. We needed a few clues but did manage to escape in time! Souls saved for another day. Highly recommended.

Went there a few weeks ago with a couple of friends. This was their second time having gone in January I was unable to join them so it was my first time here. I loved the experience they had done the carnival room last time and this time we did Enter the Nether and it was a blast. The owner was very helpful and even though we didnt escape within the hour he was nice enough and let us finish the room. Will definitely be going back again.

This was a great experience for my friend and I. We were looking for something that would engage our problem solving side and put us in a great atmosphere. Both of these goals were accomplished with Escape Topia. The lobby before entering the room put us in the right mindset, and then Marcus really put his all to make us enjoy our first escape room. The room itself was great, without leaving any spoilers, everything flowed well, the atmosphere was amazing, and the experience was very rewarding. I will definitely be coming back for more !

I love how the immersion starts in the lobby! The artwork is fantastic! I LOVE horror themes and it’s great to have a place that caters to that. The room was immersive and had just the right amount of challenge. We can’t wait to try the other rooms!

Went for my younger brothers birthday party. Our host was fun and handled a bunch of rowdy 10 and 11 y/o boys well. I went in the room with the kids, all of which had tons of spooky fun trying to solve the riddles and find all the pieces they needed to get out. All the adults, myself included had fun either trying to help or just watching. Would definitely come back with friends.

First time in an escape room, so was hesitant and scared. Ended up being very fun and mentally challenging in a good way, especially with a big group (max 10ppl). They are located in a corporate looking office park, so easy to miss. Price felt high at first but afterwards, I appreciated the thoughtful and well curated elements. You get what you paid for. Owner was very helpful and accommodating. We loved it so much, we went back for their other room!

Overall I had a great experience, rooms and characters gave a scary, adrenaline raising rush.

This was by far the most creative escape room I’ve ever done, I did the new one “Escape the Nether” and it was amazing. So many creative and custom decorations/puzzles that I’ve never seen before!

Such an amazing and immersive atmosphere. Lobby looks great and has puzzle-themed entertainment while you wait. Employees were so fun and helpful. First time in an escape room and was dying of nerves but the employees really knew how to make me laugh. Definitely something to try out if youre into thrillers and puzzles. Our group managed to beat all three rooms, and each time was just as good as the last.

We stopped by on a whim because we were in the area and ended up doing 2 games in a row instead of just 1! We are also aficionados who have done about 12 escape rooms in the past three months or so, mostly in the NYC area.When we walked in, we immediately felt as if we had walked onto a movie set. The decor and dim lights set the mood for the spooky escape rooms to come. Craig, our game master, was fantastic and not only explained the rules to us, but set the scene for the scenarios we would be playing.Im not going to spoil the games for anyone reading this, but know that we did Escape the Beast and Zombie Apocalypse.The rooms at Escape-topia are incredibly immersive and use sound, lighting, and decor to great effect to make you feel like youre really in the scenarios. Prepare to feel harried and terrified as the clock ticks down and you desperately try to solve the puzzles that will give you freedom.One thing I really appreciated was the availability of a small notepad and pencil in each room for any word or number puzzles that youd need it for. (This is the first place out of the 8 escape room venues we have visited thats done so.)Overall, one of the best places weve escaped from! Give it a shot - you wont be disappointed!

We are escape room pros and traveled to escape-topia after hearing great things. The guide was very kind and effective. My 9 year old son loves him. The rooms had very creative and unique clues. The themes were fun. We had so much fun after the first room that we had to stay for another one. Hands down the best escape rooms overall that we have ever done. Don’t miss out!

I came to Escapetopia to do Escape the Beast as my 2nd escape room ever a few years ago and today I came back to do Enter the Nether for my 105th escape room. My family and I have now done all of the rooms here and we consistently always have a great experience.The owner, Marcus, puts a lot of thought and heart into his business and it shows. This is one of the few places Ive seen out of all the companies Ive been to across multiple states that has a whole vibe from the minute you walk in the door. All of the rooms as well as the lobby are horror themed which is my favorite of all themes. I have enjoyed the puzzles, stories, and surprises in these rooms as both a newcomer to escape rooms and now as an enthusiast. I like the way they word the clues too, they start as a mix between a hint and a riddle which I really like because it still gives me a chance to figure it out instead of just being told do this right off the bat. This is one of the top businesses I would recommend to a friend. Thank you for a great time as always!
