Quiet and set behind a subdivision. Cute little trails and a nice small getaway. Great for a picnic
Great park and beautiful!
Beautiful! Thousands of Grasshoppers I swear. Lovely birds too. By residents which is NOT lovely. Gravel parking lot. Lots of trail. Mushy.
A great local treasure and perfect for a family hike.
This is a beautiful small park, about 20 acres. It has a nice mix of different terrains, including a large section of reconstructed prairie flora, an ephemeral pond (currently larger than the another pond, which is permanent all year), and a somewhat hilly oak savanna. Lots of wildlife to see, and when the time is right, mushrooms and wildflowers. It is a nice place to do a nice cross country ski or snowshoe outing, not huge, but still fun, and if you live in Fort Atkinson, just a hop, skip, and a jump away. I rarely see more than one or two people there when I go, and they always seem very friendly enjoying Gods creation.
Beautiful park, easy trails, and close to home.
It was beautiful but could use some grills and picnic tables
We have been stopping here for a fast walk, for a few years. Nice spot to burn off some energy when your kids have plenty to spare and you dont want to go far. I prefer going on cooler days to avoid mosquitoes!
If you want get away from the city this park is not for you. I could see houses/business and here traffic the entire hike. But, if you want to get off road without leaving town, its nice. Lots of bird life.
Nice park to do a short walk. Beautiful views of sunsets.
Monarchs galore!
Pretty park.
A nice look at the Wisconsin wetlands
Nice scenic country park
Oh mosquitoes, how i love thee
