This place is awesome! The staff is tops and if your lucky enough to meet Franco while your there that makes the visit that much better. The decor is nostalgic I only wish I has time to play the Route 66 video game.

Its pretty cool looking. I worked right in front of this place. I havent eaten there yet, but it sure smelt delicious.

This place is great think about it like going to your Italian grandmothers house for family dinner. once youre there everybody makes you feel like the special relative l The one who made it big and the familys proud of you. Last night I had the chicken marsala and it was one of the best Ive ever had with a side of pasta good stuff great people

Cant say enough about this place.Landmark location opened 1936Recently reopened by a nice italian family been feeding southern californians for decades. A perfect fit.And the food, as we say in italian, prima classe.Everyday is like having sunday dinner at mamas. Except better. I wish my mama could cook like Senora Bella. Franco n mama in the kitch. n son Pino serving it up with style n laughter. If you havent been to Bonos you owe yourself a good meal n a good time n youll find both at Bonos on Foothill blvd. Look for the BIG orange. Where old school italian meets old school route 66.Trust me, youll thank me soon as you walk in the door.(As my niece says its the bomb)

Really good authentic italian food!

I found them... Ive told you about BELLAS) family owned restaurant in the lil plaza in fontana... Well they moved n i found them again right herw at the historical landmark BONOs in fontana. Cant miss the big orange outside much bigger location lots of interesting history but best of all thongs italian...... Thats right, their serving up some of the best italian food this side of the atlantic ocean. Mama, franco n son making it all as if they were having a few friends for dinner. If you havent let them serve you at their tables, shame on you. And if you have had dinner with them n not sure where they went, their alive and well and preparing your food on route 66. Me , i get my italian fix, on ol route 66. Find the big orange n you found the best of italia, america. I found them......
