Everything was very nice and clean. All Hosts had plesant customers service skills. Loved it. Great place to have an event.

Im using my wifes account to leave this review. We were invited to this country club a few years ago by family for Easter brunch. I have finally calmed down enough about the experience to give the experience the written word justice it deserves. The extended family inviting me had a table reserved, but my wife and I were immediately met with hostility from staff, who told us there were not enough chairs for my Mexican wife and I. They then told us if we were insistent on eating there, we would have to eat in the basement (which was filled with chairs, if you missed the bullhorn of a dog whistle). The only other people down there were a very nice black family who were the only other minority guests (I guess minorities were welcome on the staff.) My brother eventually joined us downstairs, bless his soul. If hate fills your heart, this is the establishment for you!

Great course. Friendly staff. Greens fast but true. Wonderful traditional style golf course.

Very unpleasant experience in the clubhouse listening to some members talk out loud.

Idlewild is the best club in the south suburbs! The employees are wonderful and Chef Jeff makes the most amazing food!

It was Absolutely Gorgeous. If I could GIVE additional Stars I Would. The PLACE is beautiful and the Service Was Magnificent. I had a Young Waiter; didnt get his name; handsome blond guy, pretty young looking and exceptional manners and waiting techniques as well. I would recommend this Venue to Anyone; for a Wedding etc. Never saw staff with an attitude either; just great.

We had our wedding reception here and it exceeded our expectations. Idlewild was hands down the best value for our dollar. Amazing food and all of our guests agreed. Jen was spectacular to work with, too.

Im on kid golf lessons and Im really good,Id say its my #1 favorite golf courses is at idlewild. the food is AMAZING, I love the milk shakes thay are amazing to, it love the butterfinger ones thay are really really good. i hope thay are always like that, cause I want other people to enjoy it to.
