My guy and I had a great closer round to our season. It was packed and carts were scarce but the staff was apologetic and polite. The fairways and greens were in great condition and the other twosome (couple), Mike and Lynn that we got paired up with were pretty awesome too! It had been 7 years since I played Coyote, we will definitely be back NEXT season!

I was extremely happy with the shape of the course. If people fixed their ball marks the greens would be great. They are a little slow but very nice. For the price it is a great value.

Great course in really good shape. But playing 9 holes in 2 hours and 40 minutes is completely unacceptable. Hire a Ranger....

The course is always in excellent shape. The drainage is the best. Youll almost never have puddles in the fairways a day or two after a heavy rainfall. Not the case with other nearby courses. The sand is impeccable, and the greens are really good for the amount of play on them. The layout is what other courses should be. The first 4 holes are easier and will get you off to a good start. Theres enough water and sand throughout to keep big hitters honest, and if the wind kicks up, some holes will be tough to par, particularly 7 and 10. The greens can be fast in the summer, faster than most municipal courses. They have subtle breaks which must be observed for the better scorecard. All in all, a really enjoyable course. Also, the restaurant has very good food. Would be 5 stars, but the weekend rates are prohibitive, although they do allow the frequent player punchcard to be redeemed on a weekend round.

Course is in great shape, greens are great, pace of play was great. Only issue- GOLFERS who play here- FIX YOUR BALL MARKS! The grounds staff gives you a beautiful course to play. Keep it that way! If the pros can do it, so can you.

Been playing Coyote for quite a few years and after today just had to write a review. As far as daily fee courses go this is one of the best in Chicagoland, especially at the price. Played the course today 9/5 and they delivered private club course conditions. It was absolutely immaculate. The super and staff have done an outstanding job. The course is very playable for the average golfer and doesn’t beat you up, even if you’re not hitting it well. Thanks guys. Top notch!

Awesome Course with a great layout. Has the best drainage system in the south suburbs. Only place to play after large amount of rainfall the day before. Be careful on Hole 12 the creek is closer than it looks, just play it to the 150... Overall one of the best course in Illinois!!

Nice golf course but they could use a ranger to keep moving a little faster. We got stuck behind some 70+ year olds playing blue tees must have been 3 holes open ahead of them and everyone stacked up behind them. One of our foursome had to leave after 15 holes 4 1/2 hours into the round he couldnt stay any longer. Hire a RANGER

Coyote Run is a above average municipal golf course. The fairways and greens are well kept. The driving range has 95 - 98% quality range balls with grass tee areas (mats during wet conditions.)The proshop is respectable for a municipal course and the Wiley grill is worked by friendly and responsive waitstaff. The food quality matches the pricing. As far as the course itself it is a good mix of terrain with water on 6 of the 18 holes. Well positioned and groomed sand traps. The course would be considered easier for a scratch or low handicap golfer with wider fairways and realatively moderate difficulty on the greens. The hole locations are periodically rotated as well as tee box locations within tee areas. All in all the course is a nice course for the money and is well managed. Front 9 plays a little easier than the back. Check for weekly and seasonal deals.I play the course about every 2-3 weeks.

Its a par 71, 6400 yards from the blue. Slope 69.5 (take note you bogey golfers) and a course rating of 123. If you like to walk (and more of you should), its a great course to do this on.The good news is, for the level of traffic on this course, it is well maintained. And the food at Wileys Grill is decent. So, walk this one and enjoy yourself. And for you above average golfers, move it along, replace your divots, and repair your ball marks. Makes it easier and better for all of us.Long and straight.......

I have begun playing Coyote quite often. Yes, I live in the area. The first four holes are short par fours with generous landing areas. This course is a second shot course. You can find the fairway for the most part, but the trick is hitting the greens which are generally angled away from the golfer. No bump and run shots for the most part. Add to this tight pin placements and you have to work a little to score. Dont get me wrong, there are birdies to be had if you hit the fairways and keep tour approach shots smooth. You have to read the greens. I mean check the movement within six inches of the hole. The greens tend to run a little fast. Not Dubs Dread fast, but fast enough for the grain to play a role in your choice of line and pace. The secret to number seven (the #1 handicap) if the wind is playing into your face: just take a three hybrid or five wood and hit it in the fairway about 190 to 210 out. Take an eight iron pitch of about 65 yards and come on home with a wedge or nine iron. You may hit it close and steal a par, but you may limp out with a bogey. Take it and get out of there! Good luck, Chris.

First time on this course, wonderful experience. Fairways were in great shape, greens were just tough enough and there are plenty of ponds and other water hazards. Oh, there are many sand traps too. This course is a must play. 19th hole at Wileys is very good too. OK, I didnt make the connection right away...Wiley, Coyote Run, yep Wile E Coyote!!

Coyote Run is a great public golf course. Opened in 2005, its had time for the landsacping to grow up and fill in; a very well manicured, pleasent course with driving range. The clubhouse restaurant, Wileys, has an assortment of food and beer. Nothing to crazy, the food is ok, kinda pricy for nothing speacial. The beer and wine selection is standard. They have an excellent back patio that is perfect for drinks in the late afternoon. The draw is definitely the golf course.
