The renovation is absolutely phenomenal! Easy access, and great staff. They also have a venue if you need to rent a space for an event. Can hold 80-100 comfortably, with a lobby area for refreshments. Ella McAndrews was a great host to me. I held my Retirement Ceremony in the Black Box room located on the basement floor and it turned out awesome! A little pricey but it was expected with it haven been recently renovated in the past few years. You wont regret your choice if you rent the space or attend an event. Loved it!

Beautiful building. It us amazing that was closed for so long and now is renovated and has a new life. It brings people to downtown Flint and to the restaurants.Give it a try.

Went and saw A Christmas Story there. Was packed. Great to see a local venue like that be do busy. Pretty good concession stand.Just a really great vintage feel. If youre looking for a high tech concert/movie venue, this is not the place. If you want to harken back to classic days of the old fancy theaters, its fantastic.

Great theater, the renovated space is beautiful! We enjoyed a great show and there is really no bad seat, just tight together in the balcony. You certainly cannot pass by anyone without making them stand. Nice stage and great sounding area!

I cannot believe that something so beautiful is tucked away in Flint. My wife, mother and I took in a phenomenal performance from Black Violin here, and I was absolutely blown away. The interior is nothing short of breathtaking, and the acoustics were excellent.

We love The Capitol. it has been a Flint icon forever. It spent many years in disrepair. It has been renovated back to its former glory. There are boutiques and first class restaurants within walking distance. Parking is free! So we can park , shop , have dinner then a show.

A lot of work has been done on this historic site in Downtown Flint. Today (12-7-2017), the building was open to the public for tours of the new renovations. If the shows that come to the Capitol are as good as the Theater looks, then Flint is in for a treat!

The renovation of the Capitol is complete and the building is beautiful. We saw a play and sat in the balcony. Even up there we could hear and see everything. The Capitol hosts plays and movies. Wonderful for date night!

Its totally been redone, it is beautiful inside.It looks brand new again and we hope the people will enjoy it for years to come!!!The acoustic sounds in there are absolutely Amazing!!

Gorgeous theater. Seats are on the smaller side and not positioned well for stage viewing but still was able to see with some head bobbing all night.

I was at The Capitol Theatre to see Home Free (an acapella country group), seated in the handicapped area. At this theatre handicapped seating is 2 or 3 steps up from everyone else so when people in front of me stood I could still see the stage. Most places all I can see is the backsides of people in front of us. Thank you to everyone working that night to make it an amazing experience for my husband and myself.

Loved the place.....sat in the balcony to see The Russian Five. First time there and will definitely come back.

Go see a concert here!! Parking not so bad. Design, atmosphere beautiful. Close and personal to see your favorite band. Loved seeing Styx here!! Got to my car easily, well lit walk ways. Minutes home. Would do it again on a weekday night. Completely enjoyable experience.

Great place to see a concert! I was told it was partially remodeled recently. Restrooms looked new, plenty of them in all areas so lines werent bad. Same for concessions. Friendly staff. Cool venue!

It was so great to see Mark Farner there, celebrating his 50 years in the music business and to be doing it right where it all started was just the best! I look forward to attending other events there and hope to see Mark back here often! You guys did an outstanding job with the Theater! I took my boys by here one day recently while waiting for the bus and we were able to go inside the front lobby and look around a little bit.The inside as well as the outside have been completely redone and are as beautiful as I remember from my childhood. The security officer could only allow us to look around the front but could not let us go down to the theater or into the hallway leading to it. You can still see the hand painted ceiling in gold which is very well preserved and maintained.

We went for a school field trip. The staff was very nice and helpful! The performance was great. The venue is smaller but it is perfect for a small play. It was very clean and looks new. Overall, great experience! I will go back for another play.

It is beautiful inside. I used to come here when I was younger!! So very glad they re opened and saved it. Theyre bringing in some really good shows.

What a great, cozy venue for bigger acts. Saw OAR and had a blast. Hopefully more mainstream performers put this gem on their routes.

Great place in Flint Michigan part of the Whiting group. Awesome shows they just finished a beautiful restoration on this building. This place is a must see. Flint is really on the upswing lots of great places to visit including the Cork for dinner and Soggy Bottom drinks and Jazz music.

Its a good venue for concerts but most tickets are either GA floor or GA balcony.

Missed the first 10 minutes of the show because I had to stand in line for drinks 20 plus minutes. We were in the upper level and we could see fine. First bands volume was perfect. Second band was too loud. The place was beautiful and we will be back. The bar staff needs some training.

Gorgeous theatre and awesome facilities. I am so glad this place has been reopened. Weve seen three shows there and attended one wedding in the theatre, and all were outstanding. You can park in the flat lot on Saginaw and walk, or in the Farmers Market lot across the street. There is also some street parking available. I cant wait to see more shows here. Its so beautiful inside!

I saw a movie here. Im glad they finally restored this theatre. It looks beautiful! If you are sitting in the balcony, and are more than 511 in height, it will be a tight fit sitting in a seat. (its not too bad though) Im sure its because in 1928, people were alot smaller when the theatre was built. My only complaint is that parking needs to be closer to the theatre instead of 3 or more blocks away.

Great place remodel is very nice however balcony seats are way too tight I had knee surgery 5 weeks before the styx concert and couldnt sit in my seat had to find an empty area and sit there away from my family and the lady that sat next to me was quite heavy and she overflowed into my seat

Useless security, dont waste your money on shows in this venue... you wont be able to see anything because they allow people to crowd the aisles in front of the stage and when you complain youre blown off. When you complain loudly, they kick you out.Avoid at all costs.

Beautiful place, but terribly tight seating and absolutely no leg room. Our knees were touching the seats in front of us. Couldnt move our legs around st all to ease stiffness during a 2 and a half hour show. Sound system was good and seating was quality, just too tight.
