Gorgeous view, and nice and cool (compared to the rest of Arizona) for a picnic in the middle of the summer. There is only one picnic table but there are some other benches as well. We ate lunch at one of the benches since the picnic table was occupied, but it turned out great because we got to enjoy the overlook as we ate.

Fantastic view -- looks like pink clouds in the distance but its really the distant Painted Desert.

Amazing views. It is beautiful how the forest and the desert blend slowly form one to the other over the terrain.Also dont forget to wear sunscreen.
