Went to the restaurant to eat. Had fish and chips. Coleslaw wasn’t the good, but the fries and fish were just as expected. Nice waiters as well. Also, placed some bets and that was nice and smooth.

It was my first time and I was very pleased it expand my horizons The first picture is the belgium waffle the next is the frenchies

The Turkey was a little dry but still a good thanks giving dinner.

Went to play some pennies. Machines were cold and not paying out. Cocktail lady was very efficient and very nice.

Nice small quaint place to enjoy a meal, drink or gamble

Used to be a nice small casino but is now a crackhead casino. Such a shame to see that it had upgraded but downgraded in other areas.

Its ok but you come out of there smelling like a cigarette.

Ehhh ok machines service is mediocre and the restroom had the worst smell I had ever had to deal with. It was unacceptable and it could be smelled from a good distance outside of the restroom.

My husband and I spend a good amount of time here.

If you are looking for a place to eat and gamble on your way through Fernley, don’t do either here. It seems that as soon as you say “Hi” to an employee, It all of a sudden becomes an open invitation for negative commentary against the casino. Two employee’s began to talk about how awful their jobs are and how “the casino” has ruined their lives. The first employee whom I was talking to made themselves known as the “Restaurant Manager”. I also talked to a gentleman who referred to himself as the “Manager on duty”, he explained that the company is going bankrupt and that he is sorry for any inconvenience. What?!?!

We went to Pioneer at least once a week but have now stopped going. They advertise one price on food specials but you must have active gambling card to get the specials - if you dont gamble often, your card doesnt mean anything. What a scam and the quality of food has gone down too - I know a lot of locals that have stopped going because of this reason. No thank you.

Love Pioneer Crossing! They are friendly to vets.... well, to anyone. Great bar food - deep fried mushrooms, chicken strips, wings. Fun for a casual night out.

Their Belgian waffle maker was broken and that was all that I really wanted so this trip was a bust to begin with. The the others in my party had to make adjustments to their orders for the kitchen to be able to accommodate them. The food was worse than eating at a truck stop and the machines were tight. I dont dare come back for their buffet night.

Shawn is hands down the best person there. He is the most kind and caring server we have ever had there and my kiddos absolutely adore him!

Rude staff, under cooked eggs. Service went down and prices went up when bought by new owners a few years ago.

Waited for 5 minutes to be seated. Servers passed by without acknowledging us while cashier keeps talking to a customer. When we were seated the server only checked on us after serving our food once when she gave us our check.

This is my favorite place to go in Fernley . I get very special treatment, especially from the bar service, the supervisor of the beverages takes a lot of care in what comes out of itThis is the only place that goes beyond the normal request. The supervisor, Misty, is very personable, knows her customers and takes care of them in the manner people appreciate. She is a very good asset to the place..

Thursday Night Special: two hungry guys, two for one Steak Special. Bam! Our waitress, Crystal was very helpful and sold us on a return visit.

Service is terrible, u go in there and spend alot of money and they never come around and ask u if they can get you a drink. Ridiculous.

Our servers (jazz was one of them) were fantastic and the salad was quite good. We were treated like family when we walked in and had a great last meal before a week at burning man.

For breakfast I ordered a PANCAKE SANDWICH. $ 6.50 or so in price. The menu said it consist of two large pancakes with three slices of bacon in the middle of the pancakes, with two eggs of your style of being cooked on top of the pancakes. The meal came out with two hard old slices of bacon, and the pancake itself was not thoroughly cooked inside. Tasted like eating uncooked batter. When I was paying at the register, I asked the waitress how my meal was.....since she failed to ask me during my entire meal. Then, she blamed me for not saying anything while I was eating. Maybe shes right. But, she too could have asked at some point how the meal was while i was eating. Ill just not go back there.

Had their $4.99 special. Was very good and a lot of food for the value. Well stop again on our way through.

The food is amazing, service is great, prices are great, the amount of food is a hell of a lot, even for the $2.50 plate of biscuits and gravy. Way more food than expected on every dish. Full salad bar. Casino has been great to me. I play the buffalo machines and the wolf run machines and usually (30/40 times) walk away with at least $300+ what I came in with. Really a great experience.

One of my favorite places. The girls are the best . Fast and friendly. It used to be a the best but since new people purchased we cant seem to ever win anything. They have also raised prices in restaurant. They have great food bar and restaurant. The best is prime rib night. We used to go at least 5 times a week but loose way to much money there now. Not sure what has happened to the machines. We will try it again Really is my favorite place in fernley because of help and all the good people

Food is never what I expect either the inconstant portions, lost or delayed tickets for food, Grade for food quality is a D-!!! Servers are very nice and service from them is good to very good. Slots seem very tight to me as we never leave with winnings or a desire to keep trying.

The Gold Pan special is more than fulfilling. Service is great however I took away a star because they no longer give you the nice big coffee cups.

Came for a few drinks and a little gambling. Service away from the bar is almost non existent. Overall a decent experience.

Fairly typical casino vibe, but decent food at decent prices and excellent, friendly service. My senior citizen mom and my teenage son and preteen daughter all enjoyed it. Hard to go wrong when everyones happy!

We are players card holders at the Pioneer. We hadnt been out there for a a few weeks and went out there tonight. We gambled for about 30 minutes before our names were called in the restaurant. We had the $9.99 buffet but when we went to pay we were told the $9.99 buffet was now $12.99 unless you were a players card holder and had a special sticker on your card. This new rule is not posted anywhere that we saw and no one asked to see our players cards. I have no problem with paying $12.99. I would just like to know what Im paying beforehand. .....a little disappointed.

Now these ppl r nice and understand small town issues when our stores ran out of $1s I had to find a way to get some because its Sunday and the banks r closed they gave me $100 in 1s without question and I win more here than anywhere. Good service from good ppl

I went here for breakfast the other day and was impressed. The food came out fast and it was fresh. Everything tasted home made and like it had effort put into it. If your looking for a tasty meal, consider this place.

Went for the prime rib buffet. $9.99 with your players card. What they dont tell you until youve eaten and are ready to pay, is that you have to have a special sticker on your players card to get the special price. Drinks are not included, and we paid $2.50 for Country Time lemonade made with tap water. What should have been a $20 dinner was $30, and when you consider the quality of the food and the super smokey air in the restaurant, going to McDonalds would have yielded a better dining experience. Prime rib was overcooked, gravy tasted like it came from a can, and the generous TWO breadsticks they gave us were rock hard. The waitress was nice. They were busy but she still managed to take time out to check on us a few times.Will not be going back though.

Saturday night surf and turf was extremely delicious. The steak was incredibly, tender and tasted so good didnt need any steak sauce and the coconut prawns were really good. Liked the orange marmalade type dipping sauce. The casino was nicely remodeled and gave me a feeling of fun and excitement. Very very impressed

This Casino has the rudest staff spend 20 - 50 dollars and have to walk up to the bar to get a cocktail. Prices have increased and getting smaller portions , Bathrooms are unsanitary looks like people have urinated on the stalls. Machines are so tight I would highly recomend driving to Reno.

Its a casino. Not particularly big, and mostly slot machines. Theyve got a nice restaurant with pretty good food. One 3 dollar special available thats a great value, and evening specials most nights. It can get crowded during the specials, so be prepared for a bit of a wait if you arrive at a popular time.

I have never met a more rude hostess I made sure to get her name (Whitney) did not bring silverware or napkins did not ask what we wanted to drink did not make eye contact, when she brought the plates over and we said thank you she was already gone did not ask if we needed anything... Another lady came by and asked if we needed anything it wasnt her section or job her name was Chris she was so amazing and made me a little happier she deserves recognition, also the food was very delicious just had a terrible experience with the hostess.

The hostess working this morning was rude from the first moment I tried to make a to go order. Rolled her eyes several times , just altogether unprofessional rude behavior. Otherwise good food

If you like smelling like an ash tray, and drinking your eggs Rocky style it’ll be a perfect breakfast for you. No, such think as sausage in your gravy around here, I guess the Midwest has spoiled me. At one point I thought about pouring coffee on my gravy to warm it up.. at least the coffee was good

Our family loves to eat at the restaurant inside. We have won a number of times on the Elvira slot machine. You get free drinks when gambling and theres free bingo with a players card. Fridays they have a prime rib buffet. I sujest you go there for their hood food.
