Love the BYOB cruise! My wife and I went to celebrate my birthday and we had a blast. The live music was really good and the captain was on point.

We enjoyed the history from Kurt and Benny. We saw beautiful views and wildlife gator, wild horses and dolphins and a few I dont remember. Great trip I highly recommend it.

This was the highlight of our short weekend trip to the area. The narration was very informational, and the wildlife seen on the tour was really neat. Will do again soon!

Will return one day to Fernandina Beach mainly to take another ARCC cruise. Cannot rave enough about the experience.

I was so pleased with this tour. It was very informative and enjoyable. The guide was very knowledgeable of the area and took time to ensure we saw the horses, which were fascinating as well as pointing out other wildlife. It was also very relaxing. My wife and I did the BYOB sunset cruise. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was the comfort of the boat seats. It was more like a utilitarian ferry or bus seat that something I would want to sit on for hours. The crew and musician were friendly and the music was good.

This tour was amazing. Very informative and fun. The crew was fantastic. We felt very safe. The area is gorgeous. A must do (leave the littles at home for the Cumberland Island Tour).

THIS IS A MUST DO ACTIVITY! Captain Curt and Captain Bob were fantastic. They both have an excellent sense of humor and are clearly experts on the Amelia and Cumberland Island areas. It is apparent that they have an appreciation for the area and its preservation. We took the Cumberland Island tour and learned alot about the history of both islands. We were lucky enough to be able to observe lots of nature including dolphins, birds and the wild horses of Cumberland Island. The boat was comfortable and we were able to choose if we wanted to be in the sun or under the shade of the pontoon boat. They offer other cruise options that all sounded interesting depending on what sort of interests or ages you are trying to appeal to. The cruise departs from downtown Fernandina which made it a great place to dock after the cruise because there are so many great places to eat. I think that this is worth every penny!

We vacation in Amelia Island every year and this is a definite must do. I enjoy hearing about the islands history just as much as the boat ride. Family friendly and super fun!

Did the sunset cruise, 1 hour before the sun goes down. Perfect as it was hot as blazes outside during the day, but was totally enjoyable in the evening. Saw some feral horses, fort clinch, dolphins and some islands. It’s a boat ride, on water, in a river. I’m sure you get it.

The boat tour was enjoyable. The tour guide, Mark, was full of both humorous and relevant stories. We got to see many dolphins near our boat. I would do the tour again.

Taking a river cruise has become a regular activity for us when we visit Amelia Island, and these guys are the best! Friendly staff and fun boats. Would highly recommend a relaxing cruise, you wont be disappointed.

The Sunset cruise was amazing! You’re able to see the gorgeous sunset and there’s room for everyone to see the view! It was cool that you cross into Georgia! I can’t wait to come back here.

It was great! As a first time visitor to Amrlia Island, I was unaware of the historical ties. The cruise was a great way to gain more history and get a glimpse at Cumberland island. Next trip I will make an official visit to Cumberland island.

The cruise itself was nice and informative but the captain was very rude to a passenger to the point of me being upset for half of the cruise. We went today at 2:30. Our captain was Curt. One of the passengers asked Curt a question about something he had covered already. Curt turns around and says, you must have not been listening, huh? The man shyly says, I cant hear very well. Curt kind of sternly repeated the info and continued the cruise. Later, the captain talks about alligators. About 10 mins go by an the man asked if the captain had ever seen alligators out there. Curt turns around so quick and says, Boy your really DONT listen, do you?? The man replies, I am very sorry sir, I don’t hear very well on the side and with the water noise and the motor, I just cant hear you good. Im very sorry. I apologize deeply and again am very sorry. He was very embarrassed and telling his wife that he didnt mean to cause any trouble. Curt NEVER apologized, never turned back around...NOTHING. I was so hurt watching this man being belittled. I should have spoke up and said something but ashamed that I didnt advocated for this man. Even if Curt was joking, he shouldnt have done it in that manner. And actually he shouldnt joke in that way because you dont necessarily always see a persons disability.I wasnt the only passenger that was upset. There were several that I overheard commenting on it.Curt should maybe practice patience.Other than that, its a nice trip.

What a great crew we had today. They were so full of knowledge and their love for this area shows. We stopped a few times to grab garbage floating in the water. We saw dolphin, horses on Cumberland Island and manatees. Would definitely go again!

It is the most fun an adult can have on Amelia! Book early though, they book up quick. We were on the wait list and took the space of a cancellation. We even got to see wild horses and Manatees!! They hope to show you them but sometimes you arent lucky. Make sure to bring your own booze but most people are friendly and will share. Dont forget to tip the captian and band!

Captains Benny and Nate made for a low key birthday sunset celebration! The adult only BYOB twilight is always a HIT! Definitely appreciated all the covid-19 precautions... temperatures taken, masks warn, social distancing... = WIN, WIN, WIN!

This tour was simply wonderful. The weather was perfect so we got to see wildlife and take some great photos. The Captain was very informative and entertaining. The tour was 2.5 hours. This is a must do in Fernandina Beach.

Took the 2 plus hour trip today to see Cumberland Island. Capt Pajama Dave was great! Enjoyable trip from start to finish. Kids, 21 and 22 as well as the wife and I, cant wait to try another tour. History, wild life, jokes and a boat ride. Worth every penny!!!

We took the sunset and the Cumberland cruises. Kurt was the captain for both. They were both informative and helpful in pointing out the sights. Between the 2 we saw many horses, Turkey, raccoon, many dolphins, coast guard with machine guns, a navy sub going out to sea and much more. Price was fair. You are on vacation, so open your wallet and do things you can’t do at home. Will try another one next time. Thanks!

Excellent experience. We did the ECO tour that was very entertaining and educational. Children had hands on experiences and enjoyed themselves.. Staff followed cdc guidelines at all times. I highly recommend.

Lots of fun. We did the Eco tour. Started off in a Florida downpour, I really had doubts. The tour took off and after a few minutes the rain let up. We saw dolphins and caught all kinds of really cool creatures in the net. The kids had a great time.

Fun ride. River was beautiful and our guide was knowledgeable and got us close to the scenery and wildlife. Such an interesting place with a surprising amount of history. Highly recommend taking a tour. Perfect way to end the day after waking downtown.

We took the 10 am Cumberland Island cruise. Great stuff. Enjoyable, beautiful and a lot of history. The audio on the boat is great which makes it easy to hear the captain. Highly recommend.

Absolutely love the cruise. Captain and first mate were very knowledgeable. Love going through Cumberland island seeing all the wild horses and all the wildlife.

They offer several different cruises. We took the 1 1/2 hour cruise. This particular cruise takes you by Fort Clinch, then into one of the creeks, up to Cumberland Island. We saw wild horses and dolphins that would swim right up to the boat. Our tour guides were great. Cant wait to go back. Highly recommend.

The captain and his mate run a tight ship! They showed us the harbor and Cumberland island, pointed out the many sites, shared some history and kept us laughing the entire trip!

We came to Amelia Island for the first time, not knowing much about the area. And I am SO glad we found Amelia River Cruises. We decided to go on the Beach Creek tour, with Mark Mertz narrating. He gave such a great history -- lots of knowledge and plenty of laughs too! My son was blown away seeing the wild horses along the shore! I would love to check out the other cruises as well. But the Beach Creek tour is a must-do for a first-time visitor!

This was a great trip! Captain Dave was fabulous, very entertaining and had tons of interesting facts. We brought visiting relatives, and they loved it. We will plan to bring all our visitors!

We’ve done the Sunday adult cruise and the afternoon Beach Creek cruise. Both were great, we liked the larger boat size for the adult cruise though.
