With the pandemic this place became inventive. U can take your pottery home paint at your own pace then return it to be fired, and pick up is simple and easy!! They also have the best saltwater taffy I have ever found!!

Great take-home pieces & paint. You do have to know beforehand what colors you will need due to COVID & not being able to paint on site, but it provided an excellent at-home craft time & gifts for family. They take a week to get through the kiln & be ready, as we were told. We did not realize that we should have waited for the phone call 1st, but fortunately, the pieces were still ready when we arrived to pick them up. Planning ahead (colors) & planning for the amount of time is important if you have a gift deadline. There is a good selection of pottery items.

Gregs is so much fun! Im really impressed with the work theyve done to continue to serve during the pandemic. Take-and-paint pottery is fun for the whole family! They have a great selection of pieces for you to customize - seasonal stuff for all of the major holidays, Fandom pieces for classics like Star Wars and Dr. Who, and lots of everyday use items. I would highly recommend Gregs if youre looking for something crafty to do with the kids.

Hubby and I went to Gregs for a date. We painted a platter together , and the whole time the staff was wonderful. They explained thoroughly pricing, before and after differences, tips on painting, and continuously checked on us without being overbearing. Very friendly staff, fair prices, we will definitely be going back.

Really fun place with lots of options for pottery to paint. Despite being busy Kelly provided excellent customer service throughout the time we were here, constantly checking that we had everything we needed and explained everything we needed to know before beginning painting. If you dont finish before closing they will allow you to come back without charge.

I love this place! My daughter loves to go here with me and just enjoy some bonding time. Those are precious moments because it gives me mementos from different times we have spent there together as she grows up. Great staff and cool background music. I wish they could stay open 24/7! When the muse strikes, this is a great place get artistic. Sat down in store for the first time recently, I highly recommend it. It takes away the stress of getting the right amount of the right color. Staff is great; friendly and helpful. (They still need larger ramen bowls though).

Quite and quaint little place hidden in Fayetteville. I had a nice first experience with my teen and preteen children. I would suggest they separate pottery by skill level and maybe create a paint by number piece or two for younger children. My children also suggested this, saying it would make them feel a little more confident in their creation if they had known to choose something more basic. Obviously, you can choose how in detail and depth you paint an item, but trust me when I say some look simple and are not easy to do even with just 2 colors. Overall, super chill place and a great way to escape Fayetteville living for a while. Also, the ladies are super friendly with children but kinda have the same personality as most artist lol so if youre looking for your hand to be held or your children to be babysat as I see in some reviews, its not chuck e cheese.

Have so much fun painting a coffee mug with my son every year. A great place to paint small gifts or sometimes I just go paint to get away from the world. Kelly and staff are so sweet when I bring my mom and fuss over her. Just a great place with great people in a great downtown.

Ive been here several times and each time is better and better. The atmosphere is relaxing and its a lot of fun. The staff is AWESOME with any age group. The hardest part is picking your piece and waiting for it to be fired. Will definitely return!Went again last week may 2018 and it was wonderful. Everyone there is always smiling and super sweet. Theyre very helpful explain everything to you, walk you through it help you choose and decide what might be best to do a certain design. I was doing polka dots at one point when one of the girls came over and asked me if I would like some help. I said yes I do I am a perfectionist in kind of want these polka dots to be exactly a circle but its not really turning out this way. She showed me how to use a circle sponge that I hadnt seen for the larger ones and then of course I just turned over the paint brushes to use ends for smaller circles at any rate Ive been twice Ive never had a bad experience I plan on going again theyre wonderful

Took my neices for a fun day. As soon as we opened the door we were greeted and asked if we had any questions. We picked a piece off the wall (all individually priced) and then you pick your paint. They were always asking if we needed more paint or any help. It really was fantastic. After we were finished we dropped off the pieces. After about a week we picked them up. Great experience all around!!

Every time I come here I feel an immense amount of joy and peace. I love painting and waiting to see how the colors change! The staff is so nice and help you with any and every question you might have. The selection of pottery is huge!! They have seasonal and regular items to choose from.

It was okay if your small child and want to do some kind of little small piece of ceramic which they call it Pottery which its not its a ceramics but they had no large pieces and everything was so expensive it just didnt appeal to me as someone who likes to do crafts and enjoys painting figures and things miscellaneous I probably wont visit there again there was no appealing to me the ladies that worked in there they kind of acted like they didnt even want to talk to me made me feel like I wasnt wanted

My friends and I have started going to Gregs on a regular basis now. We crave the friendly environment and personal atmosphere you can only find in a small business. We were on first name basis right away that made us feel like one of the girls. We usually take advantage of extended hour days such as 4th Friday and Ladies Night, but our first visit was on a Saturday afternoon for my birthday. We were greeted immediately, encouraged to take our time, and were taught the ins and outs of what to expect. Each piece Ive brought home has a special memory behind it. Last night I brought my son with me. As a mom, it was fantastic to see the enjoyment from and 11 year old at a place that didnt involve pizza or coin-fed games or overpriced popcorn. Hes learning patience, time and value while living in a made to order world. And now he has a piece with a memory attached too! We look forward to more memories and therapy sessions!

Gregs Art Pottery & gifts is an all time favorite place for my daughter and I! We used to take my mom there to paint and it was so relaxing! They also have Ladies Night and special events if you are interested in having a party! The owner is so awesome and remembers us every time we come in, even if its been a year! Best thing about the pottery, you can paint things that are usable as actual household items (plates, bowls, cups, etc.)!

We visited on Veterans Day this week. We just happened to be in downtown looking for something (ANYTHING!) to do and they just happen to be opening. We were grateful that they took the trouble to be open on a holiday. They managed the store and tended to everyones needs like complete pros. I was with my 3 yo and 6 yo and we got through our projects without any big headaches. It was a lot of fun and I recommend it whether youre with kids or even just your own looking for something relax with. Thanks, guys.

Great family fun! Visited over Christmas holidays with my family and there was something of interest for all of us to paint. Staff was friendly, helpful, explained everything to us and there were coloring books, toys and puzzles around for the short attention span toddlers! They will even ship the finished pieces to you if you are from out of town. Fun way to spend the day with family in the art district of Fayetteville

This place is great to have an enjoyable and relaxing noon with your family and friends. First, tell them the number of your party, theyll set up a table for your party. On the table, theyll place a towel and a jar with lots of brushes. Then, go around and look at their wide variety of ceramic figures to choose one, the prices are label at the bottom. Next, choose the colors you would like, theyll place it in a pallet, go back to your table, and be creative! Finally, place your initials in it, pay for it, and come back about a week after to pick it up. Youll enjoy this experience. This is my favorite place to go in downtown Fayetteville. All members of the staff are amazing and friendly. Prices for pieces are great and selection is expansive. Theres something for everyone. They have ladies night, couples nights, and things for kids. I truly wish they were open longer, but Ill take what I can get! Im a big fan of Gregs.

What a fun experience in Downtown Fayetteville. You get to pick your piece, get instructions about how to paint, then pick your paint and then you get to paint your heart out. Always fun to see how the final piece turns out after it is fired. Kelly makes it such a fun experience. Great place to have a small birthday get together!

Went here on a Saturday 2 hours before closing, was able to paint two pieces within the time period. Was crowded and had only 9 tables, each being able to fit 4 people. Pottery selection was excellent, pricing was alright, and paint selection was also great.

My boys have loved this place for years. From age 2 up to now (age 7). They have a ton of variety of items in a range of prices. Kelly (the owner) is amazingly helpful and gets my kids. Dont go. They are rude to disabled children. Our daughter walks with crutches and they were appalled that she wanted to sit at a table. We had a few good trips, but being rude to a special needs child is discrimination that should lead to bankruptcy
