Wow! These little cabins are amazing. You could come here just for the architecture. We are here after a day of heavy late December rain and now the temps are dropping close to zero, but we are holed up in this cozy Walden worthy room in the woods. Everything is impeccable in the cabin and well thought out, from lots of lighting controls to dial in your mood, good heater and even mounts for hanging a hammock on the deck (next time for us). That said, don’t forget this is still a “camper cabin”, even though you could find photos of this place next to the word Glamping in the dictionary, it is still rustic. You cannot cook in the cabins, so if it’s wicked cold, think through your dining options carefully, especially if you haven’t winter camped before. there is a great picnic table and fire pit right outside the cabin.Bathrooms are close by. They are warm and clean, akin to a two star hotel (as opposed to rustic). My kids thought they were great and my girls are usually pretty critical of such things.A few details: you can easily skip sleeping bags if you just bring a sheet and cozy blankets. The couches convert to a single mattress, they do not “pull out” to a two person. Without sleeping on the floor, this place is legitimately a six person sleeping cabin, but honestly it’s so small that it would be a stretch to have more in here (plus six is the limit per rules). There are four chairs, so if you have more people you might want a folding chair. WiFi is free and reliable (if you need that sort of thing in the woods.)You will love it!

We had a great time on a Monday night! Will definitely go back. Recommend booking in advance. Summer weekends are usually booked almost a year ahead. Only 3 cabins. Excellent facilities.

Perfect way to camp for those of us who are indoorsy. The cabins are heated (I didnt see that in the description, and over packed warm bedding and clothes that were unnecessary for our late Sept visit). Clean, well appointed and quiet. Well be returning next year, hopefully when it is warm enough for our kids to play at the nature playground by the pavilion. As it was, aside from a short hike, and the usual campfire activities, there was not that much to do...which was part of the appeal for us. Wifi was nice, not that we used it much. The campfires at each cabin are very close, so get ready to befriend your neighbors, since this place is at full occupancy year round.

They look like really nice places. They always seem to be booked up so make sure to plan ahead as far as you can

Love the trails at this park.far enough out of the city I order to not hear all the noise and traffic. Plenty of amenities at this park.

Dont bring little kids. Theres nothing for them to do. Also the lake is a drained swampy mess. The cabins are great though and the facilities very thoughtful. Its kind of a municipal park version of a couples retreat. Make sure to stop by Lebanon hills and check in first or youll be making a second trip.

Beautiful, well designed cabin in a gorgeous setting. These are popular, and I hope they add more so more people can experience them.
