My kids and I absolutely loved this place. The lady guide is super pleasant and funny And quite knowledgeable. The museum itself is impressive and pretty big. I would recommend you stop by and check it out.

Free and cool, esp the dinosaur stuff. Hunting aspect may not be for everybody though. Be sure to call ahead and schedule a tour, as you may not get in otherwise

This is so sad. Online says open. We drove here to find the door locked and went to the building to the right when a caretaker came out. I asked if the museum was open, and he very rudely said, do you have an appointment? We said we didnt know we didnt know we needed an appointment and again in very short rude voice he said, you need to call at least 24 hours in advance to set up a tour guide. Couldnt pay me to go back!! Dont say OPEN online ! Say by appointment only if the doors arent open. Very sad!

I wanted to take my son to show him since I remember going there on an elementary school field trip long ago. “You need to make advance reservations and there’s no guide here today” I was told in a rude unfriendly tone by a crusty old gentleman. With no offer to make a future reservation, nor answer any of my questions. I left feeling like a trespasser even though it was open according to their website. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

My daughter and her family traveled 3+ hours to get there for a 10:00 appt (with super excited kids) just to leave at 11:15 with a no show tour guide. She gets a call with the excuse that she over slept..such a sad excuse. Now hungry sad kids...

Incredible private museum featuring taxidermy animals from all continents. Our private guide kept leading us up stairways and into other areas. This museum is very large for a small town. Well worth phoning for an appointment. Free admission! Knowledgeable guide.

Went there to see the museum during open hours, doors was locked, no one around. Place looks trashy and abandoned, clearly its not, theres ducks, geese and peacocks everywhere, apparently the owner just decided not to open today!

This place is awesome, even if the aquarium was fake, their collection was amazing. Although, there was nothing to see outside, I was still fascinated by their enormous wildlife collection.

Terrible experience. Traveled from Colorado with my wife and son and was met by the most awful woman. She told us that she had a bad attitude and did not want to give us a tour of the museum. We spent our day going to a movie instead. We will never go back and will never recommend Bolack museum.
