It’s a shame 90% of these bad reviews are talking about a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT place. Probably because Flamingo is a common trailer park name maybe the reviews have gotten mixed up for somewhere else. If you’re looking for an honest review on Farm Hills’ Flamingo, please disregard all the ones trashing the place from the bs usernames. There is no lobby, no syringes, no male manager, etc. This is a decent place to live for the price. The amount of news stories I would say is average for a trailer/apartment community and I would say Flamingo is the nicest and safest in Farmington Hills. It is a mix of people, many neighbors are friendly with each other or as independent as they’d like to be, and those who cause drama don’t get to stay. The only downs are the property could be maintained better, especially the puddles and having residents have to salt and shovel around their own trailers seems a bit much if they don’t own their home, and some gas leaks. But overall the staff tries to keep it up and all the issues with this place are the same issues you’d find in any affordable apartment community. It is not chaotic, never heard of hard drugs around, no trash in the streets. Many residents actually keep their homes up very nice. It can be a very enjoyable place if you make it.

My mom lives here. Every time it rains or even drizzles, a giant inches-deep puddle covers the ground from the road to her trailer. Its done this for years now. A few inches of drainage was dug to try and alleviate it but that filled in quickly. Now its basically a swamp. Why they cant build her an extension to the little wooden porch section somebody built for the previous tenant is beyond me.

Good Evening on this day I called flamingo mobile home inquiring about their mobile homes the woman on the phone was very nice and helpful so right away I knew this was the place, I was told I could come in and look at mobile homes and I did and I instantly fell in love with unit G-14. The woman at the desk who I’m guessing was also on the phone was still very nice and respectful so I raced to fill out the app drove across the street to party store bought a Money order and immediately went back to turn in all my information. Everything was great. Now when the same lady who I spoke to and seen in person called me about app she was no longer this nice helpful respectful lady anymore she was actually rude, disrespectful and inconsiderate. She told me We can not rent to you because of the negatives I had on my account and I said ok what negatives on my account because I actually just payed off a lot of my negatives on my account she’s says idk look at your credit report I responded I am looking at it is there something we can do can you help me I really need a place I’m bout to be homeless she continues to rush me off the phone and I say it seems as though you don’t wanna help me or talk to me and she says well actually I’m off at 4 and I have things to do she decided to call me at 3:57Pm I had nth to do with that So I understood her and I said can I have your name and she abruptly and deliberately hung up in my face. The company websites clearly states and I quote “we love our customers” I felt no love toward the end of my visit and I’m actually heartbroken because I was nothing but patient and positive and I didn’t receive any of that back but I appreciate your employee time and I hope the rush was worth it...

Very poor community residence here will do anything for the next hit No safe place to live

My ex husband lives here and my son stays with him here too. I wanted to live here too but I had not been at my job long enough (which is very understandable, most places do the same) this place is not perfect but not many places are. If you need an inexpensive place to live Flamingo is in a great and convenient area. Ann in the office (management) is very nice and helpful. I appreciate her keeping an eye out for my son when hes out playing. He loves to stop by the office and say hi to her.

The people who live there are nice. And care about their homes

Im a kid who goes all around the park and Ive never seen any drug usage or anything of that. Trailers are kept clean and maintenance is on top of everything! They remodel the trailers quite a bit so everything looks very nice and everybody is so nice here including the management!

My lease was expiring in a week and all of the sudden my car got stolen I think friends of the neighborhood were watching my trailer and took my car it was a Dodge charger

For a small older trailer park, this one is actually pretty nice. The trailers are older and theyre very close together. Im giving it 4 stars because its actually maintained. The management is barely responsive to issues with tenants and theyre constantly fixing up trailers and the park to try and make it look better. There are a lot worse places to live that cost a lot more than the flamingo

Called the front office to see of they had a reopen date, the lady who answered the phone was extremely rude and sarcastic. Her customer service is absolutely awful. I will not be applying to rent here and will never suggest this place. They need to better train their office staff.

I drive by and never know if the office is open or closed due all the windows being shut dont know why but it always looks like yourr closed. Open the place up.

We are new homeowners here. We have not yet heard any excessive noise and only once have I seen anything resembling drug activity. No matter where you live there is someone involved with drugs. I think our street is the most attractive and yes, most of the homes are old (ours is 50!) but on our street they are neat and clean. The rentals are kept spotless on the outside. The homes are renewed before new residents move in....... Ours has new or nearly new everything! Good neighbors, good manager, and good place to live.

Id like to start this review off by saying yes this trailer park does have problems however Ive only met the nicest druggies here me and my husband like to dabble with the heroin needle every once in awhile and needless to say everybody in this community is like family yesterday there was an overdose and I loved how the whole park came together with their narc cans to save one Junkie even though they wouldnt have any Narcan for them self I love how considerate the neighborhood is and prices are very affordable I would highly suggest living here the only reason I took a star off is because management here likes to gossip and spread lies however still a great Park and maintained better than any trailer park Ive ever lived at

Ive been sitting here reading these reviews. Most of them are highly negative and not true at all. I have lived in my current home for nearly three years now. Before this one I lived in two other units. I have lived here for a total of about 8 years or so I did leave and moved to Florida for just over a year, then came back here. I will be honest, on one street there were problems. That was back when Renee managed the place. there was a lot of drinking going on which resulted in a horrible fight. The people that were involved are no longer in the park. For the most part the park is quiet. If you have issues all that needs to be done is call the office, problem solved! It really is a nice and affordable place to live. people are friendly here. I gave 4 stars because there are problems with puddling when it rains. Thats minor though.

Perfect getaway for semen stained blankets , drug addicts and people who want to commit suicide. The place is notoriously dirty and has a terrible manager that makes excuses about the problem at hand he will tell you if u expect no crack heads you should have stayed on 14 mile . DO NOT want to live HERE. Nastiest place I have EVER been to. They are disgusting. Roaches and other bugs all over the room, even in the shower and bed. They DO NOT CHANGE SHEETS. I moved the blanket and there was literally crumbs and other things on the sheets. I asked for new ones, the man said oh laundry room is closed and I said what am I supposed to do? Sleep in dirty sheets? And he had the audacity to say well how dirty are they? This place is revolting. I wouldnt suggest it to any living being on this earth.

I have lived at Flamingo for 13 years. I find Flamingo a safe and pleasant place to live. It is well run and maintained. I have not had any problems. The staff is professional and helpful. The forest behind the park is very beautiful, it is like living in the country. I would not ever consider moving. I would highly recommend Flamingo to anyone who would like a safe and pleasant place to live. Maestro.

I have never seen Drugs or any crime in the two years that I’ve lived here! Enough of the negative reviews! Management and maintenance are on top of everything!

I have lived at the Flamingo Trailer Park for one year, and had a perfectly good experience. It may look run down on the surface, but it is safe and clean. I have had no problems with the management, and repairs I needed inside were handled promptly. I love the neighborhood and the field and trees out back, which are a good escape from the metro-Detroit area. There were nights I could go out by the woods and see deer, bats, & fireflies.

My spouse lives here. Many of the trailers could use a paint job. This would really make the park look more appealing. Seems like they just collect rents and make zero improvements astectically speaking. The place is pretty quiet when I visit.

While I do enjoy the area and rent pricing: however, they leave a lot to be desired when it comes to enforcing very loud neighbors to keep it down. When you can hear loud n clear the same music over n over everyday from 6 homes away with your only option is to drown it out to hear or watch something. But other than that it really is a GREAT place to live. Honestly!

I love the houses that they have. There a few houses that need some cleaning but, other than that. Its wonderful! By the way. I am Mimis daughter! :p

I have lived in other trailer parks and by far this is the most well managed and cleanest park I have had the pleasure to live in. Charlie (the manager) is always there when you need him and is always kind and courteous. I dont know how he does it!!! Great rental rates!! Thank you Flamingo and especially Thank you Charlie!

Verry frindly manager son brandon treats tenants like family the reason for 3 stars is cause the crime problem here is not cintained their are alot of unsavory people here that dint have morals and are on heavy drugs everytime i left my house weather night or day someone is standing outside with a beer it makes me feel unsafe and all the women i brought back would say they also felt unsafe at least it was featerd on a famous movie called 8 mile other than that this place is not that safe especially if u want to raise a family

Ive lived here for 3 yrs and feal very safe here ! I walk the park a couple times a day & evening,and most of the people I meet are very friendly! I dont understand the negative reviews, I have not seen any of the issues mentioned !!! The maintenance Dept is always there as soon as possible, the grounds are well taken care of all year round!! A community is what you make it !!! So get off your couch and meet your neighbors, youll be quite surprised!!!!

Lots of open field in the back which gives this trailer park a very creepy Vibe seems like the type of place that would have some addiction problems and also I hate having to live next to the crackheads and finding paraphernalia and needles scattered around my yard thanks to the trailer park I dont actually live here but I have to live next to this place unfortunately and its an eyesore

Duh this is a mobile home park obviously theres going to be dope things and people that want to break in your stuff should be expected before you even buy this space that being said there are ways for you to protect your home and protect yourself you cannot find any other trailer park or mobile home park that has no crime its inevitable that theres going to be some percentage of crime in that community its wrong for you guys to blame this on mobile home park when there is like 12 of them in Farmington that have the same issues

The staff are very freindly and so are the people who live here. They keep the park very clean and safe, l have been here for about 12 years and l am very happy.

Idk I have mixed feelings like they are nice and all but when it came time to put my security deposit down one worker told me 525 then another told me 1106 so it seems like they were giving me a hard time because I was younger and they wanted a reference from a pastor well how do they know if I go to church they dont know my religion and I brought them 4 reference letters from people ive lived with and they barely took that. I think the problem was because I was gay.
