I went here for a wedding. The bartender was AWESOME! He went above and beyond to take care of me. The wedding only had specific alcohols selected and I asked if he had any captain in the back that he could sell me, and he took the time to find the keys and grab it for me.I didnt notice but he accidentally gave me the wrong amount of change back. And when I came back for another drink, he mentioned it and handed me back the change he missed. That there is integrity at its best. Excellent service.I am personally a water brat but they really need to add a filtration system for their fountain drinks and water. You can honestly taste the city water. But still, hitting the 5 stars on this one because thats not a show stopper for me.

Glen oaks in Farmington hills, is a BEAUTIFUL venue. I, had a upcoming wedding scheduled for 9/26/2020. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic and social distancing was forced to reschedule to 5/1/2021. Bill and other that i have spoken to at the venue have been very helpful at keeping me up to date of any information. They are very patient and nice through my many questions, no matter how many calls i make to them. Cant wait to have my upcoming wedding 5/1/2021 at Glen oaks county club, Farmington hills, Mi. Hope to see you than.

Play here alot great short course 6 par 3 holes but has some challenging par 4 and 5 holes as well

They always have a great staff that is friendly courteous and kind. Whenever you need anything there there right away be attentive to your needs

My husband and I were both so so impressed with the service we received at Glen Oaks For our wedding! Everything and everyone involved was amazing! Brian Shay was so helpful throughout the planning process from the beginning of our venue search through the morning after our wedding. Our guests RAVED about the food and the space. Several even told me it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. The venue is BEAUTIFUL and everyone was very professional. They are definitely experienced in the wedding game. We have no complaints whatsoever. Hands down, I would recommend and choose Glen Oaks again and again and again in the future!

Ive attended three events at this country club and have enjoyed it every time! They have delicious food and good drinks. The atmosphere is lovely and sophisticated.

We had our wedding at Glen Oaks this June, and I cannot say enough great things about this place. From the moment we met Bill we knew no matter what problems that would arise he would handle them. The rest of the staff was amazing as well answering last minute questions and reassuring us. They even let us come in the day of to set up everything. Our friends and family can’t stop talking about how amazing the food was!

Love food, great customer service staff but outfits look like a 1940 maid service. owner should consider something more up to date in service staff wear. Safe parking, clean restrooms.

Amazing place for your party of choice. We had our engagement party here and were treated like royalty. Friendly staff and satisfying food to match. Easy location to find and parking is plenty. Outside area is beautiful during the time we had pictures outside.

I like the coarse the fairways are cept up nicely the only problem is that the coarse doesnt drain well it seems to be always wet. The most important thing is the greens! They are the slowest I have ever played, I dont know why because they are cept up good, they are wet better tirme would be damp. I dont like the greens here. This really is not a bad review. I like the coarse and play it weekly . just be ready to adjust your game. Ps. The people there are the best very nice and polite. Again I LIKE THE COARSE AND WILL CONTINUE TO PLAY IT.

Great place for an outdoor wedding.

Very nice banquet hall. Been to numerous school related banquets here. Very clean and neat. Banquet food is great. I know they do weddings, but I have never been here for a wedding. However there is an outdoor garden for outdoor weddings.They also serve lunch in a smaller room by the pro shop for the golf course. Great food as well.

Great place to hold your corporate party. Food is always excellent and over the top. Nice setting, love looking out over the course.

We were expecting more players Saturday morning. They accommodated five of us perfectly. Beautiful, beautiful course. Well maintained, even after last nights rain.We played 18 at a reasonable rate despite busy weekend. Marshall was very helpful. And the refreshment gallery found one of our players iron left on prior hole. Great course.

Unpretentious staff, well kept fairways and greens. Good club house and carts rolling around to keep you hydrated while youre having a good time. Low cart fees too.

Decent little golf course, kind-of hidden away. There are one or two pretty challenging, narrow holes with a lot of out of bounds area encroaching on the hole. Other than those its a simple decent course. The twilight rates are wonderful, but at full price... you can find better.

Attended an open house for a recent college grad. The property and the staff were phenomenal and attention to details was superb.

My and myself went to Chinese function at Glen oaks Country club. We had A very good meal which was self service. There was a bar which we could purchase drinks. They had organized a band which we could dance. Very well organized.

Great wedding venue. Food, bar service, banquet room, food service were all excellent.

We were there for a wedding reception. Beautiful place but if you go for a reception get the ham its much better than the prime rib and the chicken

It is Monday morning May 16, 2016, my daughter was married and had her reception at Glenn Oaks this weekend. As a father of the bride this will be one of the biggest days of your life! I can not say enough about how AWESOME all the people are at Glenn Oaks. They OVERACHIEVED our expectations at every level. All the managers we dealt with for the months leading up to the big day were amazing, but I must give a huge shout out to Bill as he was the Manager the day of. We received hundreds and Im not exaggerating one bit...it was hundreds of compliments from our guests how amazing the food, bartenders and servers were. The dessert bar was over the top! They went above and beyond to make sure every single detail was handled. My supreme compliment is to strongly encourage every father to seriously consider this venue for your daughters Special Day. Thank you to all that made this day so unbelievable!

This is literally the best place to have your wedding! The word “no” is simply not in their vocabulary! They took care of my husband and I from the second we took a tour of the place. Because of Bill, Brian and everyone else made what could be a very stressful night, an amazing night. The food was beyond AMAZING!!! You MUST get the sweets table!! When my husband and I went around to all the tables the first thing that was said at EVERY table was that the food was to die for!!! Do not go anywhere else for your wedding!

Attended a lovely wedding here. Grounds were gorgeous and the facility was too. I loved the large bathroom provided for women. Food was excellent and wait-staff was attentive.

I love this municipal course. Close to home, easy to get tee times and they keep the course very well maintained. Youd think its a semi-private course.

Went to a beautiful wedding reception here! The decor was beautiful. The service was okay. There were several people with food allergies or intolerances and there wasnt enough food for us. Instead of trying to fix the problem they openly blamed the bride and groom for not informing them. The waiters and waitress were all dressed in a uniform.

Attended a wedding here and it was phenomenal. The food was probably one of the best out of all the weddings I have been to. Service was very friendly and attentative and it is a very elegant place.

Very good course. But when I went to play on the 1st par 3 on the front 9 it took me and my dad a half hour to tee off! Because there where 4 guys playing a match and a couple in front of us. So there was 8-10 people waiting to tee off on 1 hole!
