Great golf course. Theyve got great holes, great service and I had a good time there. The range is amazing and pretty good place to practice. The Greek isles is good too, especially the hot dogs, they are the best hot dogs Ive ever had. Also on the course the employees go around asking if you need anything and sell things such as soda, alcohol, pretzels and chips.

Love the restaurant here! Especially sitting on the porch or patio. Food is really good with wide selection, including several healthy Greek options. All with my a great view of beautiful fairways.

Pretty good course totally let down by rude management. went to check in at 835 for reserved 840 tee time, and they gave it away with zero warning. we were at course on range at 820 btw. the group was sent out on the tee already due to the starter just assuming we we’re not there and he put someone else with them. No apology, told needed to be on time. complete garbage.

Literally the most aggravating customer service (or lack thereof), that Ive encountered.The main individual who answers the phone is gruff, unhelpful, and he plays favorites with tee times, giving preferential service to his favorites.There is currently no ability to make a tee time via their website (likely because the lead individual here likes to play gatekeeper over tee times), instead you have to call them and literally haggle with him for a time. More than a dozen times I have called a week or two in advance to inquire about a tee time, looking for two-some or fore-some, and willing to take anything from 7am-3pm. This has occurred for both weekday, and weekends alike. The individual always tries pushing times like how about 7:30pm the next day?Ive abandoned hope of playing this very nice public course and am giving my business to a half dozen other courses nearby. No loss on my side...

Golf course is in good enough condition. Bunkers are well maintained and not like hard packed Livonia public golf course bunkers. There are two small chipping greens by the range. Range mats are ancient and are like hitting off hard pan. Range balls are fairly old, fly lower than normal (up to 30 ft.), and have lower ball speed (5-10 mph) than other ranges Ive visited. I had to take a couple of old golf balls out of my bag to make sure. The only thing worse than no data is bad data, dont change your swing if you practice here.

I have ordered a salad here a few time and they where all horrible. I’ve tried you out a few times, trying to give you the benefit of the doubt. This last time there was a ton of feta cheese in my Grilled Chicken Caeser Salad which barely had any romaine in it. Who ever works in the kitchen on Tuesdays around 5 has no skill. If you can’t get a Grilled Chicken Caeser Salad right, that’s embarrassing...

The entire facility, staff, and restaurant is always great. I have considered this my home course for years! Thanks to Jamie and Team!

Course is always in great shape and pace of play is good. Even in these COVID19 times, checking in and getting out was easy

No rangers, group 4 ahead kept the whole course very slow, will definitely think twice regarding playing at this course sgain.

The staff were rude and when I turned in my cart, they started spraying it down while I was still retrieving my items in the back and they hosed down my phone. Luckily it still worked, but the guy didnt even say sorry.

In very nice shape, good price on Thursdays.

Really nice course tucked inside Farmington Hills subdivision. Straight- forward, fair but challenging layout. Well maintained with a nice clubhouse. On the day I played the greens and fairways were in dynamite shape. I really enjoyed my experience here.

Nice course. Well maintained. Good pace (4.5 h) saw the cart girl 4x which is good IMO.. I didnt use the clubhouse other than to pay.

7/6/19. When I looked on the website it stated non residents weekends 35 dollars , I arrived for a 7:12 tee time with 3 groups and we were told 49 dollars for non residents, no problem we paid and proceeded to the starter,,,, I asked for a handicap flag and the gentleman in the clubhouse told me I didnt need a flag ,,,, I asked why he said they dont have them and if they did I didnt need one anyway, Farmington hills somebody needs to check on the desk help,,, I have had a pacemaker for 8 years , I go through dialysis 3 days a week, and on top of that I suffer from systemic lupus, so not only do I play 20 dollars over rack rate ,, pro shop guys VERY RUDE, Oh yeah one more thing after my round I went in to speak with the pro or a supervisor and the pro shop told I could have went and played anywhere today, I wish had, ILL NEVER BE BACK ,, one last tidbit of information as I was leaving I noticed a golf cart with a handicap flag, done with this course

I really like this course. Not an elite level experience, but just below. And for the price you simply can’t beat it. I went after seeing it from the 275 to 696 connection and always wanted to play it, but assumed it would be too expensive. I was totally wrong. Very well maintained. It’s not long, but it’s still challenging. The customer service is good. They have a full range. The range is just ok, but at least they have one. Most courses don’t.

Rating for driving range only. Plenty of available bays. Automatic ball dispenser takes cash and credit. Always clean. Can be busy after work though. Took one star off because they grass tees are always closed. I believe it may be permanent.

Decent course. Great value. Shop guys and the starter can be a bit rude, but I always go there for the value.Range is all mats, or at least it was the times I have gone, making the range worthless to me (I don’t like fixed height rubber tees, and I always dig my irons for weeks after using mats since the mat is so forgiving)

First time I went there with my husband and son. Havent touched my clubs in over 10 years. It was a hot day, but was glad I went! Clean tee boxes and a putting green close by too. Nice place!

Wow. What jaded golfers most of you are. Customer service? Have you ever heard of dead periods or prime time? Ive been golfing here since it was San Marino and this was my home course in high school. I still golf here, 15 years later. For the value its better than almost every city owned course within 30 minutes. It is a little shorter, but its a been a hot and dry summer, so conditions are exactly in prime shape that they would want. If you actually talk to the staff, they are extremely knowledgeable. Their pros are great too. I highly recommend James (Jaime) Cole. Front Nine is tight with some tricky greens, back 9 is more wide open with nice change in elevations. You would have to go to Canton, or Rochester Hills/Auburn Hills to find nicer courses. The driving range is better than most, aside from a retail store like Carls Golf Land. It is always maintained, the course that is.

Great course, especially the front 9. Very well-maintained and lovely landscape. The driving range is fun and is the most affordable Ive found ($10 for 125 balls). Bring cash -- credit card machine may or may not work.

Beautiful golf course and not too crowded

I wished the greens were faster, but overall the course was in very good condition. The course closes around 8:30PM so be aware if you are looking to play late.

Not sure why everyone is focusing on customer service. This is a golf course people, if you review that, its very hard to give this course any lower than four stars. Course in great shape always, well maintained, provides different challenges on the front when compared to the back. And thats what makes this course unique. One of my favorite courses in the southeast area of Michigan.

3 golfers. 9 am tee time. Maintained well. Not really any complaints, but Im not in love with it either. I would like to see a few more well placed bunkers and the price dropped down to the low fortys. Overall, nice course and Im glad I played here. My group will be back again.

Im reviewing mostly because I cant believe the whining from other reviews. Ive played 3 times this season and the customer service from the pro shop and the restaurant/bar have been fantastic, Ive never once been upset. The course is always in great shape. If you dont want to wait on holes dont tee off at 11, tee off at 7:30, Name me a public course anywhere around here where you dont have to wait if you dont play early?

Such a friendly laid-back atmosphere, with wonderful employees that truly care about their regulars, golfers, and other guests alike. This season is going to be amazing, with beautiful women, a well maintained, and gorgeously groomed golf course, brand new carts which run silent and smooth, with a full service restaurant, bar, and enormously beautiful ooutdoor patio, overlooking the front nine. The place is even staffed for a couple beautiful and kind, beer cart girls, who drive around the entire course, front and back 9, to bring drinks, beer, soda, Gatorade, liquor, snacks, and more. Theyre always accommodating and swift, going out of their way to ensure the happiness of her golfers out there. You really need to check it out. The kitchen is fantastic, the bar & other wait staff are excellent, gorgeous, and will go above AND beyond for any customer, within reason.Please, dont miss out this season, its going to be amazing. If your last visit disappointed you, try again and enjoy the course, food, and service. the new features, electric carts, groomed course, & beautiful and relaxing staff, service, and atmosphere. Good course, service and communication here needs some service

Fun city course, not too challenging and old dudes running it are pretty cool - always friendly. Nice bar and people seem to eat their food. That being said, I havent had good luck with their hot dogs on the turn. I hope a manager who has control reads this and upgrades the dogs. Overall, you cant beat the value.

Played here three times this year and other than being a little slow in one round, the course is extremely well maintained. Pro Shop and Grill Staff very accommodating. Nice little track!

Would have never known this course existed until I drove by one day. Should get up to speed & get on GolfNow! Most golfers I know including myself use that app to find and play courses. Don’t really understand why they have resident & non resident rates as there are plenty of public courses around. The other side of my road literally is Farmington Hills. The staff in the pro shop & bar were very nice. Although I’m not a resident the guy gave me resident rate since I’m a veteran. The pace of play was horrendous, no rangers out on the course to regulate the hackers with no golf etiquette!! The cart girl passed us twice because she was too busy with her phone and earbuds & we were even yelling and trying to wave her down. Several water coolers were bone dry at 1 pm, not a good thing when it’s 90 degrees out and the cart girl is just aimlessly driving about. Green speeds were very inconsistent with some of them very wet and soggy and others dry and fast.

Has gone downhill. Staff isnt friendly, poor website, line is always busy (what age are we in), overpriced. This used to be a 4 or 5 star in my mind

I play here almost every week after work. The whole course is beautiful and you cant beat the price!!! The conditions of the course this year have been awesome. The front 9 is so cool. absolutely love this course and the upscale Coney Island restaurant.

As always I shoot my best score when I play here. The course is maintained and the green are smooth and true.

Very slow pace of play, and the gentleman working behind the counter could not have been more unenthusiastic and off putting. Course was beautiful and in great condition.

This course has gone so far down hill. First of all, the staff is HORRIBLE! The guy in the pro shop was a total jerk for no reason. Made it seem like I was inconveniencing him. Didnt smile, didnt make eye contact, didnt say anything. Just acting like a jerk. Then the starter was barking at us when we werent ready to tee off 5 minutes before our actual tee time (needed 1 extra minute so we were on the tee 4 minutes early). Then the group behind us, hits into us on the first fairway. They apologized for doing so, but said they were instructed by the starter to do so. Then we made the turn, and it took 15 minutes to get 6 beers because of an inattentive bartender. Not to mention, the greens are in HORRIBLE shape. So many unfixed divots, burned grass. For $49 you think theyd do a better job. Paid $50 the day before at The Majestic and you get a completely different experience. Im a pretty laid back guy, and its tough to upset me. I live close by, but I cannot see myself come back to this golf course under any circumstances. I see by other reviews that others have experienced similar stuff to me. Bye Felicia.

Course is in great shape, management is a joke, they might as well use the Ranger to deliver drinks. They either overload the course or the Ranger cant keep people at a reasonable pace. We asked for assistance multiple time to no avail. Dont visit on a busy Sunday, you will have a 6 hour round.

First time Ive played there. Course was in fantastic condition. Not cheap for nonresident players but still reasonable.

Fathers day brunch showcased the Greek Islands chefs skills...great food. Service was a little underwhelming for the price.

Had a great time golfing with two 14-year-old boys. Its a great place to teach kids the etiquette of the game, without being rushed by pushy, want-to-be PGA players. Nothing but good things to be said for Farmington Hills Golf Club.

So upset! Just waited 20 minutes to tee off on a hole and had 2 groups behind us. We ended up leaving. They crowded so many groups together we were all waiting. Wasted my money and worst off, wasted my Saturday. Very disappointed.

Great course. 8.5/10 on upkeep..0/10 in the pro shop. Literally no mens, left handed gloves in the middle of July, but they want $45 a round.I will not be back until THE CITY can figure out how to run their proshop.

Have only tried the range so far but its a fantastic range with great prices for buckets.

The course is in great shape.The front desk person has no people skills whatsoever.He was rude and seemed to be very short during my check in process.Im an avid golfer and play 3 to 4 times per week.I will not be going back to this course.Also no beverage cart during the round.Customer service is what brings golfers back and this course definitely lacks it.
