Great service!!! I wish I would have gotten her name! we were a group of 10 (sat at 2 tables, of course, following the rules!) My pasta wasnt great, it was dry, but Im sure this isnt their normal. Everyone else loved their meals & they looked delicious! Appetizers were yummy! There is obviously a great chef behind the door! Back to the service, it was so great that it didnt matter that my food wasnt awesome, I will return because the service was that great!

A fun outing. Brings back memories of yesteryear driving around the lake and stopping here for a loaded Bloody Mary and Tachoes. Great food. Nice deck to eat and enjoy the view of the lake.

This campground is designed for seasonal campers. Im not sure why they even have 1 spot for weekenders to come. The 1 site designated for a weekender is horrible. No room for kids to play in the site. Most of the site consists of rotting wood which provides a tripping hazard. Upon booking, I asked if our camper would fit. They said yes. In my opinion, it did not fit. Even if we werent an ice castle and had a regular camper trailer, there would have been no way to stabilize the back end as it was a down hill slope and grass, after we had gotten lots of rain. When expressing my concerns for the site being a fall hazard with where our door was, the response was put concrete blocks there. No room to sit around the fire pit without tripping over our and the neighbors water hose that was in the middle of the site. Let me be clear, it was the rotting wood and trip hazards that where all over the site that where the huge problem. We would have left had we not had family staying in the cabins. The cost of this site was too much for what you got. We wont be back.

Stayed in cabin 9. On the second nite a tree fell on my boat on the dock. The owners were sad about the tree but told me my insurance would pay for it! They never apologized, never offered there insurance info. The owners need to learn some compassion. The place has really become rundown rotten trees over the docks and the cabins feel like they are going to fall to! I would not recommend staying there because if any of your property gets damaged they wont help you will have to take them to court.

Very poor customer service. The owners are the most unprofessional people and have no understanding. If your looking for a welcoming place for your camper and family.. this is unquestionably not the place to stay! The owners do not relate personably and are by far scammers. They will tell you one thing upon initial inquiry and when the time comes it will be a different story. Watch you money and your back very carefully! On another aspect the camp sites, they are sitting on top of each other. You have no space for a fire pit and only one vehicle. This is not a kid friendly atmosphere either. I would think twice before taking your children here!

The food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly

We love their sandwiches, but especially like the Craisin Chicken Salad. The chief makes a wonderful warm maple dressing. Yum! Check out all of their food. We highly recommend Winjums.

Rented the lake home for a long weekend. Enjoyed ourselves...nice home...water access.

The food has been good each of the three times weve eaten there. We had beer-battered fish and turkey club. Both dishes were fresh, tasty and we would get them again. Friday night is all-you-eat fish and Winjums offers pan-fried, battered and broiled. We have tried each and we would order each again. Good service,reasonably priced food and a really nice lake view. Add it to your list of restaurants to take visitors.

Our waitress was very charismatic, joked around with us a little, which we enjoy. The food was great- the chips seem to be made in-house. Its right on the lake and you can see across the entire lake. Really glad that I found it after a little Yelp digging :)

Came on a snowy night in December. Road and restaurant was nicely decorated for Christmas. Prompt service, wide menu variety for a rural location. Food was great, will be back again! Would be a nice destination for a motorcycle trip.

Joanne and I have been seasonal trailer residents at Winjums and just love camping there. Pam and Roy have been great to work with, very supportive, helpful for new campers like us. I would recommend Winjums for any camper or someone who would like a excellent dinner!

We had a California burger and a French dip, the food was good and the waitress was friendly and attentive, the fries were deliciously seasoned and the homemade kettle chips my wife liked a lot. I also liked the sweet n creamy coke slaw, the price was 22.00 for both of us. We will come again.

Great ribs and pasta!

SLOW!!! Only 6 other people in the whole restaurant. I dont know what theyd do if they had a crowd. After an hour, we finally got our food. It was good or Id have given it 1 star. The waitress never came back to say why it was taking so long or to fill our drinks. Our appetizer came out after our food. She said sorry it took so long as we were heading out the door.

Found this while traveling from the boundary waters to Houston Texas. We had our dog with us so dinner on the porch on a delightful September evening was perfect. Good food and service!

Went there for lunch with some friends very good bloody Marys and the lunch was very good from salad salmon to fish tacos and fettuccine. We all enjoyed lunch.

Food was good, service could have been better, we sat unacknowledged at the bar for over 5 minutes. They were busy, but a friendly hello goes a long way especially since we right where the bartender makes the drinks.

I was there early in the season mothers day ate at restaurant it was busy. The service and food was very good the first night the second night the pizza was not that great just ok but my wife dinner was very good large portions. Camping was nice and they were very helpful getting is parked and set up. Would go back.

We ordered the mushrooms, breaded shrimp dinner and chicken and rib dinner. I thought everything was too salty. They need to use other spices and seasoning. The mushrooms, chicken noodle soup and tator tots all had way too much salt. My shrimp was way over done as well. The chicken and ribs were good. Probably won’t go back.

Was not impressed pizza was not cooked fully and it was the strangest quesadilla I have ever had. Service was ok and was expecting a better experience.

Food was good, drinks were good, service was good. But, we went here specifically to dine on the deck, and the smokers ruined it for us. I would hope the owners or management would realize that the smell of cigarettes, for a non-smoker when theyre eating, is disgusting. We wont be back unless we hear theyve restricted smoking to off the deck and away from the entrance.

We had some differences at first, but after talking with Pam, she certainly cares about her customer who visit. The issues we had she was prompt on reaching out trying to resolve any issues that arise. Certainly appreciate her honesty and would give her another chance.

We went out for a pontoon boat ride, we had the boat for 2 hours, and really enjoyed it. We had lovely weather for the day, and a very relaxing time. We managed the boat by ourselves without needing someone to come along. Life jackets were provided.

Chicken mandarin salad was mediocre. 3 slices of mushy canned mandarin oranges and bits of mandarin oranges that should have been thrown away months ago. The quality of their food is terrible. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Their nachos may have had 2 tbsp of meat on it. Definitely thumbs down. Have given this place many chances and am disappointed every time.

We stayed in one of the smaller cabins on the lake. For the price, you cant beat it. We also ate multiple times at the restaurant and enjoyed it. All the staff were very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

We have only visited once, so to be fair I will probably go back next year some time. But the place seemed very disorganized and confused. Food was a little high priced for me for what we got. It is a Bar more or less ata a seasonal campground so you need to keep that in mind. Our friends highly recommended it, and they too were shaking their heads after this visit as it was not like it used to be.

Windjums is a great place to get together for some fine food. The people and service is well done! Took a pontoon ride (rented from Winjums) to finish the afternoon with good friends. So nice!

Very nice place.

Winjums Restaurant has great food and very friendly staff. They have a surprisingly large menu that ranges from bar favorites like appetizers and burgers to impressive entrees like steak, seafood, Italian and more. Their chef is amazing and very friendly and his prime rib was the best Ive ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We had a large group here for our Christmas work party. Fast and Good service on everything and the food was excellent! Thanks for making a great night for us

The Beef Ribs were delicious and good value on an all you can eatThursday night. However, for someone wanting to eat blood sugar stable the choices were limited. Lots of deep-fried carbs and poor fats. Iceberg lettuce is a lousy substitute for greens. Mixed greens and more fresh vegetable choices on menu would be preferred...locally-sourced when possible. Youve got good protein choices on the menu. Now, please offer some healthy fats and fresh vegies (less sugar, more fiber).Still, your setting is lovely and you offer a relaxed, casual dining atmosphere. Your servers were friendly, attentive, and efficient. It was a perfect location for hosting a wonderful Retirement Party! Thanks Pam and your whole team!

Quaint place thats tucked alongside a lake. Pretty to look at the lake if you are seated along the side with the windows. Very festive at Christmas time. Has one of the best prime rib around the area.

Small resort on a smaller lake. Nice people. Small but nice swimming area. Campers have lota of activities or entertainment provided especially during holiday weekends. Close knit campong community.
