The only thing that would have been better is if they hard hard liquor. Lol. We were ou on the lake and heard the ice cream is amazing. It is!!! I ended to helping a white claw. Well see itlf I like itThe ice cream is out of this world and all that are near need to try it,!!!!!!!!?!

I see everyone has had great experiences. I wish I could say the same. The customer service was very lacking. We paid our deposit on the phone. Then when we went to check in the lady did not want to believe me. Luckily I had asked Tim for a receipt which he said they normally didnt do that but sent it to my phone. Good thing I had him do that! After that the lady was very rude. One word answers. We were very much an inconvenience.Our site was so small. Our neighbors were parked on our site line which wasnt the owners fault but it made it uncomfortable to us. We werent even sure we could get the awning out thats how close we were to his rv.The lake was nice to have go be able to cool off. The pontoon was nice. We were able to go Friday afternoon but they were all reserved for Saturday. When i went in to double check Saturday if anyonr cancelled their pontoon the lady just shook her head no and kind of rolled her eyes. Didnt even verbally respond.Overall we wont be returning. I wish I could say it was great cause I was so excited about this place and it looked great online. The main thing was the customer service.One last thing is it was a little dated. They could put some money back into the camp ground.

What a great & classic Minnesota resort! On the north side of Roberds Lake. Family owned and operated for 80 yrs! Large lodge thats wrap around, screened in windows.Great food, great cook and an old style fountain featuring root beer floats, soft serve ice cream, icees & soda pop.Pull Tabs and pin ball machines!Classic red & white trimmed cabins plus full service RV & tent camping.Boat rentals and nice swimming beech. Fish cleaning station for those who caught fish out on the lake or from the dock. Just last week a 35 northern pike was pulled in while fishing off the dock!Great vacation spot within a cpl hour drive from the Twin Cities!

Food was great and the service is outstanding. Always very friendly and helpful.

Had a boat available to rent same day we called. Was able to take the kids fishing and then use the beach for some play time.

Our visit was good.Doughnuts were good. Enjoyed the family.

Breakfast was awesome. Great atmosphere

Stopped for breakfast and had an amazing sausage-english muffin and cheese sandwich! Truly the best sausage Ive ever had. Now, the famous donuts are truly the bomb! A real treat.

Great place to spend a weekend or holiday. Has a boat access to A beautiful lake. Theres a volleyball court and a family friendly staff that are very helpful. The shower area was clean and pleasent. Very fun weekend indeed

Old fashion fun. Campsites have big shade trees and a creek on one side. Upper hill has permanent sites. Rental cabins too. I love this place! Fifth year camping here

What a great place to stay. We visit every time we head up to Boundary Waters with our Scout Troop.

My mom & dad met each other at Roberds Lake Resort in 1948 on 4th of July...they have gone back there every year on July 4thSince my moms passing in 2002...Us siblings have gone to the resort/restaurant w/ our dad every 4th of July They have the best Everything from burgers/onion rings to homemade donuts & Ice cream cones...nice breeze coming off the lake...Friendly owners...rain or shine...We always go & always will until my dad is no longer with us...My dad has been going for 71years We ALL LOVE ROBERDS LAKE RESORT

Immediately across the road from a lake with docks and a small beach area (which is not pet friendly). Decent spacing between spots, lots of shade tress, small stream on one end of the area. General store on site (after Labor Day weekend, only open weekends). Not too far, about 10 minutes, from shopping, restaurants and the freeway.

Rented a kayak. It was affordable and a blast.

For 11 years weve been coming back to our seasonal spot. One would think that if I was not pleased, then 11 years would have been much shorter. Great people. Nice sites. Is there a pool? No. Is there all these activities? No. We make our own, and love it as a result, because its real. Its not for everyone. But it is for us. Thank you shermayne, Bob and Tim for making this one of the happiest places of our lives.

This is a great place to camp. Everyone seems like a family here. They make fresh donuts every morning and the food is good.

Had a great time staying here! It has the up north feeling to it, yet its only 5 minutes away from town. The owners are very accommodating. Definitely recommend spending a weekend here!

Wonderful and very accommodating owners. Perfect location and access to lake. Our site was uneven and pretty much on the side of the road but offered full hookup at a reasonable price.

Think checkout time(9am) is a little early for the cabins. Otherwise its a great relaxing quiet place for a little get away.

Had a good time while we were there during a family reunion. The pontoon and cabins are older, but they were clean and fit our needs. One cabin listed as a two bedroom, however, one ot the bedrooms was the living room. The owners are very nice and were accomodating to our needs. The grounds were neat and well taken care of. I would stay there again if the opportunity arose.
