Dan the store manager is such a great guy, always ready to go over and above for customers. Also, Alicia from the framing department was super helpful, courteous and professional. Had such a great experience getting a family heirloom framed here that I had to leave a positive review. Thank you guys!

Michaels is the place I go to for arts & crafts supplies, holiday decorations & gifts, and picture framing.I always find things I wouldnt expect at a craft store, sometimes for less than at other places, sometimes for more.Michaels isnt known as a place to score the best deals on arts & crafts (its not the dollar store nor are the products as junky as at the dollar store), but sales and coupons can turn it into a steal if used smartly.

The store is well stocked for your crafting needs. I was able to find what I was looking for easily.But with the amount of options it means the store is very full of aisles and displays within the aisles. The experience was fine I just felt like I kept meeting people without space to let them by or pass myself. Pre-COVID, I never would have thought twice about how narrow the aisles were or how much stuff was set up in them, but now I do.

I like Michaels, and especially this one. I dont go there often, but whenever I do, I can find whatever I want quickly. If not, the store associates are always helpful. In all, nice positive experience.

They are open and trying to keep e everyone safe. Stocks are lower than what I used to see prior to COVID-19 but you should be able to order online to be shipped or curbside pickup.

I love this place so much, i can spend hours in here.... They not only sale handicraft but also teach you how to create yours.... I can spend more than 100$ just to buy something to create cards, goodie bag or simple souvenir for my class...I will always be back to this place and shop again....

I enjoy shopping at Michaels, I always find what I need...unless its sewing machine. Those are no where to be found...and NFL fabric is also MIA. .

Took an aspiring artist shopping for art supplies. She was thrilled to see many art books, especially the abstract painting books, the animal drawing books and art supplies. Wishing they carried clip boards for paintings. Several mark downs made this shopping trip worthwhile.

The onestop shop for everything artistic and to do with art of any kind, and for all age groups.Its always a pleasure to go around the aisles of the store looking at the delightfully colorful art supplies. One can also get organizers of different types- scrapbook protectors, paint storage boxes and so on.

Saima was awesome with helping me with a framing project. She more or less chose the framing and matting style that made the piece look exceptional. Additionally the piece was an antique and required proper keeping, and they handled it professionally.

I always love Michaels. they always have what I need. I always plan on going for one particular purpose and end up spending the entire day- and my entire wallet there. Its always organized and the staff is always helpful! I also love that they put out coupons in the newspaper and will match competitors coupons and prices. Love love love!

Always bring a coupon but good art supply for kids projects

Michaels always has an amazing selection of artistic crafts and the staff is helpful. The prices can be a little high for the product, but they often have sales or coupons that make your purchase more affordable.

They had everything I needed, but prices are pretty high. The cost of their picture frames seem especially marked up. Better quality can be had from Target for far less. 3 stars because its one of the only surviving craft stores around.

Helpful custom framing shop

Went to Michaels in Fairlakes today. There were probably a total of 8 customers in the store.Three people (including me) in line with one cashier. The one male cashier paged Gabriella to help check out. She finally shows up after he called her a second time. I was the unlucky person to get her. She seemed annoyed that she was called to help up front. She was not friendly at all. I said Hi. She didnt respond. Not even a smile. The item I rang up was showing on sale for $2.99 but it rang up $5.99. I said theres a sign that says $2.99. She simply stood there and said No the promo is over. So I said okay I dont want it then. Then She looked it up on her hand held device and said No then refunded my money. I mean seriously? With less people shopping your stores right now because people are afraid to get out of their homes during this virus scare, this lady still finds reason to be rude, unfriendly and provided absolutely no customer service. Wont be going to this store again.

I was able to find the perfect sized basket I was looking for to hold a lot of gifts that I plan on giving. I also got the sales associate to help me select the right kind of spray paint to use on the basket. This Michaels is well stocked if youre looking for various types of baskets for different purposes.

My favorite craft store! Its never overwhelmingly busy so you can enjoy your shopping trip. If there is a line they will get more cashiers so that the line goes quick. Well organized aisles so you can find things easily. Sales are clearly marked so you arent confused. Overall, great store and chain

Its the holidays so the place is a wreck but they have some of everything youd need. The lines are long at the register but they are managed well and all the cashiers are very nice and also good at their jobs. The employees on the floor are very helpful and knowledgeable about the stock.

Good customer service. However, it can a bit of challenge to find the items youre looking for, as things are labeled, but its not entirely structured. There is a pretty diverse selection of goods, but nothing as extensive as other hobby/decor shops.

They dont always carry what is needed. Cashiers dont always know what they are doing. Some do, some dont. It is convenient to go to. Other locations are too far, or difficult to get to.

I absolutely love Michaels. Anything creative that comes to mind I head straight there for the materials to get the project done, start to finish. It has everything you would think of plus some more when you think what an arts and crafts store should have. Not ever a single visit have I left with something I didnt realize I needed like, hey! this would be perfect for that! Or, cool! I can totally use this to fix/make that! Lol :)

I used to love stopping in Michaels and getting random bargains but the store and quality has went down hill while prices went up

Had to make a quick run for some supplies before they closed. Our cashier was very nice (wish I could remember her name, started with a D I believe), but when we went to leave the doors were not opening. It said push on the handle so I went to push, and didnt realized they were locked. It was an honest mistake and the manager I believe came to help and said since we are closed the doors are locked, if you could give me a second before you break our doors that would be great. Otherwise Id leave 5 stars. It was an honest mistake. Ive worked in customer service and sometimes customers dont know, some kindness wouldve been appreciated.

Stopped by to get info on custom framing and Alonzo and Derrick were very helpful and courteous. I would easily recommend this storeand especially recommend the staff working on framing.

The workers stare at you as you try to find something, the checkout cashier has you narrate your lifes story. Ring up the total and take my money. You dont need my email, phone number, home address, blood type, and shoe size for me to but some damn crayons.

Look wed the visit. The store had be very good sales for christmas.
