Hands down my favorite live music venue in the area. The Greek salad with chicken is delicious, as well as the fried pita chips. They have an interesting selection of pizzas and drinks, and even have kombucha on tap from time to time! Such a fun, welcoming atmosphere for any and all kinds of art and music. They host open mic nights on Mondays and Thursdays, as well as various other special events and concerts. The rooftop is open in the summer and is beautiful and a very relaxing spot to hangout.

I eat in this spot a lot since I work right next to it. I have to say their service is always great and they keep the spot well kept all the time. Prices are convenient and they serve big portions.

One of my favorite hidden gems for food and music in Fairfax. Whether in the main room or on the rooftop, this venue serves as an amazing space to enjoy local artists of all flavors over some tasty Mediterranean cuisine (very vegan friendly!) including pizza, salads, wraps, kabobs, etc.

DELICIOUS food and a cool vibe on the roof and inside. I cant believe Ive never been here before!?!? I recently heard about it through friends and we tried it the other night for takeout. The menu is excellent with a wide variety of interesting apps, entrees, salads, pizzas, all just a bit different than the norm. Lots of Lebanese/Mediterranean influence and Persian influence makes the spices and flavors tremendous! We were serving a small group and got a lot of vegetarian and vegan options as well as some meats; some dishes spicy, most not so much, so everyone was happy.In addition theyre normally a venue for local performers so it seems like a cool spot when that opens back up. In the meantime the rooftop is open for outdoor seating. Theyve created a nice little oasis there.All in all it was great food at a fair price, with a wide variety that got instant approval from the family!

The rooftop and live music was lovely. It wasnt overcrowded, all COVID precautions were being taken and the small crowd that was there was a good/respectful vibe.

This was the worst place i ever been to in my life. Waited for 30 min for food and drinks. The place was hot and stunk like mildew. The food was awful. The music was bad. All around worst place that i have ever been to. I will never go there again ever. I warn all those who think about it. U may want to think twice. Plus Gus is the worst owner the iv ever seen. Health code violations all over the place

Visited the cafe to support a friend’s band. Music was great food was great. Only concern i have is the waiter, who was very hard working. He kept running his hands through his hair, trying to pull it back off his face. I would suggest a hair band. I will definitely be back

Hidden treasure in Fairfax. Stopped in just to hang out in the rooftop bar. Happily surprised and impressed with the diverse menu and extensive options. Everything we tried was fabulous... stuffed artichokes, southwest salad, Jesses Girl sandwich, Be My Little Chickpea pizza. New regular customer!

Wonderful surprise to have multicultural musicians playing 4 songs followed by some awesome jazz musicians jaming while we ate. I had excellent gluten free pizza and my companions both enjoyed their pita pizzas!

It is the 5th time I come here for food or drinks (at 10:30pm on a FRIDAY) and they are closing or closed.

We had a wonderful time listening to Jazz Infusion last night at The Epicure Café! The food was delicious, service friendly and the music fabulous! You should all get out to enjoy some music and food at The Epicure, especially if Jazz Infusion is playing!

Visited epicure cafe recently for a drink. The place was surrounded by smoke smell and nasty. No proper ventilation ...Did not order any food after seeing a dog running around. Very disappointed and will not recommend this place to anyone. I would give less than one star....

Epicure is fun, great place to see music. I liked my food, I had a wrap. They have things like burgers and veggie and vegan choices on the menu, some nice beers.

A rare, magical place for the right type of person

Even if i wanted to. There is nothing i can say negatively about this place. I only go on thursdays for the open mic but i bring a few other artists with me and everyone agrees the venue is fantastic. The staff is welcoming and friendly, The food is delicious, all the people who come are friendly and supportive. Absolutely a wonderful place there is nothing like it in the surrounding area!

This was a wonderfully unusual find. The food was great. They offered many vegetarian and vegan choices, the carnivores in the group agreed that all of it was very yummy. Their pizzas were very good and they have a wide selection to suit any taste.The night we went there were several performers and it was a good mix. Had great fun.Sitting there in a little strip mall, you would go right past it thinking it is a dive bar. Encourage you to go in and enjoy a good meal, friendly staff, and great music.

This place is a true treasure. A cafe/bar/music venue. The owner loves music here and the place is very welcoming for shows. You wont be trying to eat a gyro getting your ear drums blown out. You wont be listening to music wishing they served beers. You will be eating great food (with a LOT of dietary conscious options) with a music at a great volume.

Its wonderful that we have a place like this in NoVA that offers great food and great entertainment. From open mics to live music, Epicure is one of my favorite restaurants to go to. Awesome staff that work hard to put on great shows too. Highly recommend.

I feel like this wouldve been a place I loved in my early 20s... But in my mid-30s it was just okay. The rooftop was cute but rickety with just a view of the street, food and wine were good but nothing special, the service was polite but not really welcoming. It was a fine experience but we probably wont bother returning.

3 bands, one night, it seems like a dive, but find yourself a table, relax, and enjoy the show.

We go here for the music. One of the few establishments that have local artists regularly. The food is not great but passable. Food is not why this place is great. The last Sunday of the month there is local jazz there with musicians of various ages and instruments. All are good. It is curated by the spectacular Paul Pieper. Pay a visit to Epicure.

Definitely one of the greatest music venues in the northern Virginia area. Also great food, friendly staff, and an amazing atmosphere!

Had some tea and yummy apple pie. We were served tea in a nice little teapot! We enjoyed live music and played board games. Cool spot!

Ok, this place has incredible food! Ordered a white pizza, cauliflower and cheese fries. Holy moly, it was all so delicious. They also had an amazing singer on stage, Simone, when we went!! Five stars!

Went for Sunday night jazz. Nice friendly vibe for a low key evening. Have been wanting to go for awhile and glad I finally ventured in. I will definately return. Good Mediterranean inspired food. A real oasis in Fairfax.

Its a very simple place, we didnt eat and they dont offer non alcohol drinks....we had a great time because we went to see a band we like.

Very good food. Its not common, theres a touch to the food that I havent had anywhere else. Youve got to try the pizza, the dough is so good, you wont leave the crusts unbeaten.

The food here was AMAZING! It looks like a bit of a hole in the wall whem you drive up, but everything we ordered was utterly delicious and the live entertainment that night was great! If Im ever back in the area Ill be stopping by. A local gem!

Ive never been here on a day other than Thursday. But I LOVE the open mic night they run on Thursday night.Ive tried most of the items on the menu excluding the vegan ones, and Ive never been disappointed or sent anything back.

Its really laid back. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The gyro was shockingly awesome. The atmosphere was pretty hipster but people were still having a lot of fun. The only reason I have it 4 not 5 is that it is kinda dirty but that might just be the scene. I did have a great time!

The food is great. The place looks old but the owner being there and cooking himself I will give them a 5 star. If you want to try good Middle Eastern food cooked differently than any other resturaunt youll have plenty of dishes to try. Service is great and very friendly. Good live music entertainment but depending on the night.

Epicure Cafe is one of the best music venues in northern VA, especially for young artists. Every time I come, I find one or more exceptional artists. Ill often enjoy a pizza or another of their fine offerings, along with a glass of wine, and enjoy the music. I recommend the Epicure to anyone who enjoys dinner and a free show.

Way too hot. I am not even sure if the AC works. It ruined my night and made me very sleepy. I was a sweaty mess.

Epicure has such a loving community spirit open to everyone, music, poetry, art, parties. Family run great staff, the food is superb. My friends play there and by play I mean interact in such a caring way for themselves and strangers.

Pretty disappointed. I went here after hearing great things from friends but my experience was pretty awful. I walked in and sat down just to be ignored for 10 to 15 minutes by the staff.I walked out without being served or even being acknowledged at the least.

Horrible service! Ordered food and never got it. Never coming back!

I was there to see a friends band. If I had been there for any other reason that night I would have left, the service was so slow. We waited 30 minutes to order drinks, another 20 to get them, another 30 for food to arrive and when it did it was wrong (we ordered 2 things--one came out wrong, the other never came out). What we did eat was quite good, which is why Im allowing for two stars.Maybe I will go back on a slow Tuesday afternoon...

A wonderful place that has good food and drink choices, but the highlight is their support of performing arts via open mic and jam nights. Please support them!

I think they have a nice ambiance with solid weekly events. Their Tuesday Trivia is usually a lot of fun.They lose a point because I think their menu options are a bit pricey. My wife and I have had many fun nights there though.

Great music tonight - Shawna Caspi from Toronto performed. Tasty food - the chicken added to the Greek salad was juicy and nicely seasoned. Even the clientele was friendly.

Cool local restaurant, with a nice setup for live music. Bar is interesting, but doesnt have a great selection of craft beer. Food is generally Mediterranean, but with some interesting twists.

Been a patron for 5 years, and through all its evolutions, it still remains a local culture home with integrity and imagination. Always surprised by what they got going on each month

Chill spot! We got a vegi pizza of some type that was okay, but nothing great. Id never get it again. The loaded fries and mozerella sticks were good! Our waitress was nice and looked to make sure we were okay. It was super cold in there!!! It was cold outside but everyone inside had to wear at least a sweater still (even our waitress was wearing a heavy one). Dont go here often but have been here to watch open mic a couple times over the years.
