Art Up Front Street ups the game on Exeters artsy vibe. This hip-yet-cozy collective of artist studios is about local art at its best - but, in truth, its about so much more than that. At its heart, Art Up Front is about community. Rose and Mal have created a truly special place where the whole community is welcome to spend time up close and personal with artists and art. Whether youre embarking on your own creative journey at a workshop; sharing nosh and conversation at an open house; or relaxing on the porch, enjoying a glass of wine with an artist (or two) and a few new friends - theres something here for everyone, and all are welcome. New Hampshire needs more places like Art Up Front Street!

Even driving by, Art Up Front Streets colorful storefront makes me smile -- they are a great addition to town. But do go in to say hello, enjoy the creative vibe, talk with friendly artists, attend a class, and mingle with interesting people. Ive known Rose since she taught childrens art classes in her home -- just being around her wakes up your heart and your right brain!

As an interior designer, Art Up Front Street is an invaluable resource for my studio. One of our main focuses is celebrating the wealth of local talent, and that is certainly accomplished with their studio. There is such an amazing selection of art to choose from that I feel as though there is something for every client. And even better, there is a personal story behind each piece that I can share.So grateful to have them just stroll away!

Art Up Front Street studio and gallery is such a treasure. As someone who has lived in this neighborhood for a while, it is always wonderful to see people from our community create a place to support local talent.The atmosphere is so inviting and welcoming. The artists have amazing talent and I love going to the public events that go on. Great place!

Great environment for artist or people who just love art. I love the local flavor and welcoming atmosphere. Always new art to see, new conversations to have and something new to learn. Sit on the porch or roam the studios. I try to pop in at least once a week. Treat yourself and do the same!

Lovely little art gallery where you can get up front and personal with the working artists who rent space in this space. There are gatherings on weekends and various open houses. Really creative artwork that extends well beyond painting at accessible price points. A gem in the community.

This place has such a hip and creative vibe. Many different types of artists, all very welcoming of visitors. You can check out the gallery and/or weave in and out of the creators spaces and see how they work! They also have lots of scheduled events and impromptu gatherings that are creative and chill. This is my favorite spot in Exeter!

We have attended all the Open House events hosted by Art Up Front Street. What an amazing collection of artist. And since we live nearby, we like to stop in from time to time to see what the artist are up to. We find inspiration in every visit

Wonderful place, with wonderful people. Wonderful colors abound in this art community, where beautiful pieces are created, by talented artists. A place to talk, spend time, admire the work , or dabble in creating your own pieces. Such a nice oasis in this beautiful town

I find it a real joy to visit the studios at Art Up Front Street. Great quality and variety. Most of all a wonderful community.

Shows at Art Up Front Street are a feast for the senses. Artists who show here work in different mediums and have different sensibilities. You may find oil abstracts, laser cut pieces, industrial quilts and pottery. You will also find a lot of laughter and warm chatter among neighbors.

A wonderful place for the community! I purchased a decorative vase from Dale at a recent show, and its been a beautiful addition to my home.

This is a unique art co-op in Exeter (just off the Phillips Exeter Academy campus). 9 different artists work and display their artwork in the rambling converted teen center in this lovely old neighborhood. There are special shows, classes, workshops, and fabulous Friday afternoon events with wine, snacks and lively conversation. A great place to check out the local art scene and meet some artists. The only abstract and contemporary art gallery in the area!

Art Up Front Street is an eclectic group of talented artists working in a variety of mediums that have revitalized Exeters creative community. One senses immediately when first visiting the camaraderie and enthusiasm this collection of artists hold for each other and the work they produce.
