Its pretty & quiet. Great for cookout but be very careful of the water moccasins. Theres some big ones by the Water and Rocks!! Dont be scared but be aware!

It was a very well kept park with all the amenities available for a fun family time! We visited for a picnic and to wade around in the water. We were especially impressed by the large parking areas, clean covered gathering areas with numerous bbqs for multiple families and the clean bathrooms! Were took several family photos and will return sometime in the best future! You wont be leery down or disappointed in any way!

Came here to see the falls. The water is down so not much to see. It was nice and peaceful place to visit with the kids.

Fairly nice for a county park. Rented a shelter for a family get together. It was a hot day shelter and trees gave plenty of shade to help keep all cool. Picnic tables are in good condition and plentiful for the size of shelter.Nice place to meet and catch up.

Awesome place to visit

Nice little park that has a couple of shelters and a playground that is just right for the little ones. A few guys were fishing and said they had caught a few small bass. The falls are really cool too!

Beautiful place for picnic and family portrait

A great place to relax and unwind, have a picnic, or do some fishing. Unfortunately, the park is rather small, so all it takes is a couple of families to overcrowd the park and ruin the experience.

We went there to celebrate my grandsons second birthday this particular day it was very very hot and humid if there was a breeze it would have been a lot nicer but you could see the fountain and the kids had fun playing on the playground thats all that mattered they had a good time we grilled out it was a nice area they have a restroom. I would have rated it higher if it wasnt so hot and humid

Awesome little roadside park with waterfalls, a playground, and picnic area just 30 minutes from KC.

Good picnic location, and playground for the Kids.

Fantastic little park to relax. The waterfall scene is of course beautiful. But I noticed there is also a relaxing little shaded meadow nearby. And the gazebo picnic area has a very nice bbq grill next to a couple plain plain standing bbq pits. This is a little slice of heaven off the beaten path.

It’s fairly clean... the little falls was fun for the kids to climb around.

Was great in winter when water was frozen.

Just a magical little place

It had rained a lot, so the falls were flowing well. Our family has had our annual reunion there for decades. Many good memories.

Ive been going to this park ever sense 1993. Very beautiful and peace place to spend time with that special someone.

Nice park

The falls are beautiful, however the upkeep this year seems lacking. My son utilizes the grass side of the park and it is not being mowed like in years past. The playground and picnic area are great. Great balance here of nature with enough amenities to make it a easy family outing.

There are several great parks in this area with Tryst Falls being at the top of the list, in my opinion. Very natural landscape. Wonderful waterfall. Lovely creek/small river that flows from the higher level to waterfall, and then down to a nice opening below. Multiple covered picnic tables, grills, playground, baseball field, dog friendly. (Has posts with dog poo bags)..very scenic and easy to find. Great photo session location!

Such a nice little park to visit! It has a small waterfall feature that was lovely and fun to explore. Great for a picnic. The restrooms were convenient and fairly clean.

This is a unique place.The waterfall is spectacular after recent rainfall, with a curious landscape beside it for picnicking and playing. Decades ago there was a mill here, with little evidence but for some parallel grooves in the rock. Ive seen mud cats fished out of the pool. Nearby playground with picnic shelters on both sides. I highly recommend a visit with or without the kids.

Picked the wrong day...no waterfall due to dry weather conditions. Will go back another day! So, went back after several days of rain and wow what a change! The falls were full and loud and gorgeous!!

Wish it was a little warmer when we visited but a pretty neat place. If I am ever back in the area I will take the family out for a picnic there.

Beautiful place to go however cow manure runs into it and it Stinks really bad. Cant swim in the water anymore. Used to be able to jump in.

I have been visiting this location for most of my life. It was also the location of where I got married. Theres three shelters, grills, and playground equipment for the kids.The waterfall is the largest natural waterfall in Clay County.
