I love visiting and exploring this park. There are 3 entrances to the park and 3 parking area’s in the park.Bathrooms are far from beach.Speed limit is not always obeyed in the park so be cautious and aware. You definitely get your steps in to get onto the beach but well worth the hike.Bonus: Incorporating various neighborhood walks as well as mastering the many hills in and around the park.Note: The public restrooms are not open during the pandemic.Detour idea: On nice days when the tide is out you can walk to Harbourview park and Mukilteo lighthouse park which is closer via the beach route. But due be aware of the changing tide.Intention: Made many family memories here.Great park for everyone including the dogs!!Photos are in Howarth park and adjacent neighborhood’s.Seasonal: you can pick blackberries, rose hips and tender nettles along with some amazing views!!Great sunrise and sunsets.Meditate: on Jesus is what I love to do while enjoying this park.My hope is that you will too!!Isaiah 30:21 NIV[21] Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”Psalm 37:4Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.Love this park all four seasons and year round.#Gods#creation#blessed. #Jesus-thank you!!

Another hidden but not hidden gem. Bonus since the port is there you might even see a tug boat at work! Oh and dont forget your front log seat to the trains coming and going. A nice place to escape the end of thw world.

Nice spot to dip your toes in the water. The portion of the park that connects to an off leash dog park on Puget Sound. Would have been 5 star, but some did not pick up after their dogs and our picnic on the beach was visited by an offleash pup that put his nose in our coleslaw. Enjoyed the sunset! View of Mount Baker was amazing too!

First time visiting this park. Its small, right on the water, and quiet considering its proximity to town. I saw 2 trains go by during the 3 hours I was there. They have a neat circle staircase that goes down 3 stories to get to the beach, with viewing platforms on each level. There is also a playground but i didnt check it out. Definitely worth visiting if you are in the area

Howarth Park has gorgeous views of a large greenbelt and the Puget Sound. Though you cannot actually get to the water or beach from it. It boasts rolling hills and fields covered in daisies, and dedicated benches throughout. There are lots of beautiful, old-growth trees and shady areas for picnicking. It features 2 playgrounds. But there arent any swings, aside from 2 baby swings. There are some great playground spinners and ride-on toys. The parking situation is difficult. It has maybe 20 spots for the entire large park. On sunny days you may have to wait in your car until someone leaves, or park on a far away side street and walk. Still, its a lovely park that enriches the local community, so it gets 5 stars from me.

Small park with a picnic area that overlooks the sound. Trail leads down to the saltwater beach which didnt really hold much interest to us but would be a nice place to relax with the gorgeous view or let the kids look under the rocks for sea life.

This is a amazing place to hang low key and talk to a friend or read a book. There is free parking in the park. From there, there is a tiny walk and stair climb to reach the actual view point and the beach. The view point is a shed like structure, double decker, with spiral staircase and over looks the water. its an open area, and if one brings some chair, they can sit there as well. There are logs all over the beach, so thats an option to sit and relax as well.Over all, its an amazing place , aesthetically pleasing . There is even a railway track !!

Beach is great. Nice cute little walks through the trees to get there. Prepare for stairs. Stairs up to a bridge to cross the railroad tracks and stairs down to the beach lol. So travel light or bring help. Its nice to watch the trains go by well soaking up some sun. The kids enjoy the trains as well as the water. Patrons tend to keep the beach up fairly well so do your part ️. Parking access is limited but very accessable. Drove everything from my slammed golf to my Denali down there. No problems getting down or out.

Beautiful park please open up the restrooms. There are Empty beds in the hospitals on the front lines. Why are we paying taxes on a park where we can only have use it? I walked from Everett, WA to here and it was wonderful! Then I walked the train track to the military base where they have amazing ships docked. Its a closed base, of course, so I looked from afar. My nephew is a veteran for the U.S.A. navy so hes been close up, but I have not been. Its very beautiful to see from the beach though. Occasionally, you can spot their sea otters swimming. I may go again today!!!

Great little park with access to the beach. There are 2 parking lots with a small trail connecting them. Also has a nice lookout point from one of the parking areas. You have to go down a few flights of stairs to reach the beach but it’s worth it. If you visit during low tide you can walk along the train tracks pretty far!Never a lot of people there it’s dog friendly too so bring your little ones.

These photos are from the lowest tide of the year! A TERRIBLE off leash park unless the tide is out and then youre still mixed in with people who dont want a dog coming up to them off leash. The technical off leash spot is this tiny extremely overgrown fenced in (somewhat) area that pretty much opens up straight to the train tracks that have frequent trains. People kind of let their dogs off leash near that area but it doesnt work too well.

Beautiful! Various parking areas, a nice path with stairs to the beach and a platform that was perfect for pictures. There is a playarea and bathrooms at the top, then a dog park off of the beach that is not fenced. We ran on leash with all of the normal dogs that listen and still had a blast! The dog park has a creek that the dogs would drink from, but no running faucets (that I found) at the beach, just the bathrooms at the upper park.

There are bathrooms around the park areas but there is also a passage to go the beach. There are stairs that take you down to the beach.not much of a walking space. I believe because of the season the water came closer and made less access for walking other then that there is a bit space if not full to set up to watch the sunset or take your pet for an outing. Fun for family and couples. Good for photography as well. Such a beautiful place. Did I mention the purple seashells.

Kinda just went to the beach area. The bridge to get to the stairs to get to the bridge that crosses the tracks was a little run down and felt like my foot could bust through at any moment. The bridge crossing the tracks was a cool structure but also run down. Felt sturdy though. The view from the beach was gorgeous with the sun setting. Did visit the rest of the park but Ill definitely wouldnt mind wondering around more.

Pretty easy to access the beach from this park. Love coming here! Only complaint is its not wheelchair accessible because of lots of stairs. Anyone who doesnt mind big flights of stairs would like to exercise here. Theres definitely lots of beach to explore.Gated bridge to the beach means you can watch trains pass from above. The breezeway over the railroad tracks offers great views and ensures no trespassing on railroad property to get to the beach.Being able to walk along the beach beats Harbourview park(down the road, only offers beach views and picnic tables). At the bottom of the hill theres a good size parking lot. Theres a large path and stairs that lead up the hill to a park with kids playground equipment.

My favorite place to take the dogs off leash! Beautiful beach, not very many people unless its a sunny weekend. Trains run by regularly. Lots of logs to sit on or you can walk the beach. 4 story spiral staircase gets you down to the beach from bridge over the train tracks. High car prowl area though. I got my window smashed out once a few years ago so now I leave my truck unlocked and havent had any issues.

Great beach in Everett. Nice sand close to the water and close to the top of the beach, but there is a 10 ft band of large pebbles that spans a good length of the beach that you have to walk over depending on the tide and where you put your blanket. The water in July wasnt too cold and the beach was not very crowded. Just make sure you drive all the way down to the bottom parking lot. Then you have to climb a lot of stairs to cross the bridge over the train tracks, then climb back down the tower to the beach on the other side.
