I really love this park theres a beautiful area in the back to walk and I will be honest with you this is probably one of the best ones Ive been to in the area. My dog loves it. He gets to run around and smell and be off leash

The dog park seems to be well maintained and the walking trails are very well maintained and make for a nice hike with family and our furry friends.

Always a good crowd of pooches & people, large completely fenced dog park, and there are shady wooded trails - but theyre not fenced in. Water fountain onsite but no restroom.

Nice secluded park with off leash area and trails. My only issue is with the monsters who dont pick up their dogs business. This was our first time going there and we found at least a dozen dookies within the off leash play area. The trails are great though, didnt see one landmine. If people would be responsible and pick up after their dogs it would definitely be 5 stars.

Really nice off leash place. Well maintained but boardwalks would be nice to keep out of the mud. It can get mucky. There are boxes for the pickup bags but the only trash cans are at the trailhead. The trail goes along a golf course, apartments and an athletic complex. Nice area to hike in, not good for bikes though and theres even a sign that says no bikes.

This is one of my favorite dog parks because of the trails behind the main park. However, the dogs that are in the main part are a little on the more rowdy side than other parks I frequent. We usually get through the main park as fast as possible, especially on weekends, and walk the trails. The trails are not long but the dogs just love them and I love feeling like Im hiking with my dogs off leash in a safe environment.

Great place to take your doggy since it is an off-leash area. The only downside is that it gets very muddy after rain, so wear your boots.

The dog park is great, the dogs and humans are kind. Communication is shared and the dogs are dogs. Love it! There has been 2 encounters sense I started coming here. An own and her dog got hit by a car backing up to leave. Quite scary, I for sure thought the dog was going to get squished. Everyone froze and the ppl left. Then yesterday myself and my pup go, we meet this very nice lady and we had a great conversation. She trains dogs and has 2 german shepherds that are beefy and 3x the size of a typical one. I keep my space, and more so after She mentioned the boy is moody and the girl is sweet. Our dogs play and talking for about an hour. I ended up petting the female, she was good. I wont pet your pup unless you say its ok. Even then I let the pup smells me first juuust to be sure. Im petting the female, the male comes grabs my arm with his lips no problem no worries no teeth all good. His mom corrects him, tells me he is just checking on me and Im cool with that. He keeps having interest in me petting the femal and his mom notices, she then mentions that he too wants to be pet. So Im petting both dogs, then the female walks behind mom and Im wrapping it up with petting the male the moddy one as I dont want to put myself in a situation the dogs does not like. He was beyond moody that day! All of a suddend he swings his head around an nips my arm.. It was not fun and a warm feeling came over my body. That was freaking scary, the own had been talking about how well trained the two are and how he knows to control himself and that the park was a safe place. I guess its a safe place for him not me. Not cool. I have a huge bruise and scratch from his tooth.

Happily bring my pitbull here very often. The sign is irrelevant, given the bad stigma on the amazing breed. But yeah I remember a cop almost caught me smoking weed here when I was younger. This is the spot to smoke a blunt and walk the trail

Review №26

Love this dog park, my dog really prefers being out in the woods and hiking, and this park is like having some mountain trails practically just minutes away. In the very very back if the trails area there is some trash that almost made me subtract a star, but my dog just loves this park too much. Its generally fairly quiet, but bring some shoes you dont mind getting muddy if you want to walk the trails.

Its a decent dog park, but be wary: youll need to give your dog a bath afterwards. In the summer it is super dusty, and in the winter its super muddy. But our dogs love this park and the off leash trails. They can run full speed. They always nap all day after we visit this park.

Parking lot for 8?cars street parking after that. A main open area, thats completely fenced in. Then a bunch of walking trails, if you dont want to stay in one spot, the walking trails are not 100% fenced in, your dog must react to verbal commands. Its all off leash. The fence entrance is wide enough for a wheelchair. But its all soft dirt and chipped bark. This is JUST A DOG PARK. no BBQ, or kids play area

Great off-leash Park/trail, but it would be even better if other dog owners would watch their dogs so they don’t intimidate smaller or shy dogs. Also I wish they would fence off the entire trail area so that there is no possibility of dogs running off.

I love this dog park and my dogs do too. There are a lot of bigger dogs there so sometimes its overwhelming for my three wee ones but there is a small dog area you can go into as well. Lots of trees and trails and much shade. If its wet out it can be pretty muddy but we go mostly in Spring and Summer.

My girlfriend and i moved to the area a couple months ago, we enjoy bringing our puppy to this offleash dog park. Both dogs and people are all very wonderful there. Theres the main area that all the dogs play in and further back are a couple of trails your dog can walk with you on and of course they all lead back to the main area. Although i would suggest *Only* doing the trails if your dog listen well or are on a leash.Great park, come here and hangout!

This dog park is ok. It is the closest dog park to our house so we do go here, but it is apparent that the dogs that frequent here are, in general, not as well trained or socialized as the dogs that frequent Northacres or Edmonds beach dog parks. We are in therapy-dog training with our 10 month old puppy, and we don’t want him to pick up bad behaviors. At this dog park we have experienced a lot of dog owners who allow their dogs to behave poorly (and sometimes outright aggressive) and either don’t notice or don’t intervene. To be fair, this could happen at any dog park but it has been much more frequent at this dog park. We have to intervene and leave early about 50% of our visits here, which is rare at Northacres and has never happened at Edmonds.

We got a lab/husky pup and when she was 5 month old we started taking her to this park since it was near our home.. my pup is very friendly and she got along with all the other dogs. One day around 5pm on a Friday my bf and I were in the park and there were like maybe 2-3 more dogs there... my dog was playing with with some stick and out of nowhere came this big dog and it was a pitbull without a leash and no one with the dog... he/she started smelling my pup and I though they were going to play and boy was I wrong... the dog attacked my pup by the neck and almost killed her. I started screaming and people started helping out to take my dog out of the mouth of the other dog... Till this day no one came to claim the other dog. My bf and I left to the vet hospital and I heard someone in the park took the dog to their home but when I asked in the park who was the owner of the dog, no one came through.. probably didnt want to take care of the $800 cost bill from the vet :/.Please be careful if you bring your pup to this park. I defly learned my lesson in this place..

A little muddy. I have a rottweiler and all the other dogs get along great. The pitbulls that come there on a regular basis are super nice. My dog and them love to play rough. Some people think they are fighting but its how they act. Dogs have a social hiearchy and people dont understand that. Unless the OWNER trained them to fight other dogs.
