This park wad interesting to say the least. Its established along with a, currently, defunct petting zoo.But the park is open to all.Grassy hills, and tree covered picnic arras, abound. My dog and I loved it... except she did not like the leash law here.Nor anywhere.

At this park there is a frequently used play area with swings, bars and slides, ect.which is all brand new and recently installed. This is an exciting and irresistible attraction for many local children. Sadly they have attempted to keep people from playing there with a temporary chain link fence that has no gate or opening. The bathrooms at this Park are also locked. Delightfully, I noticed that there was little question that the risk of getting C19 was well worth climbing that fence to play for every kid in the park in spite of the lockdown dictates. The parks locked restrooms, however, are a bit more fortified causing an inevitable unsanitary condition. Just like face masks, likely not effective in protecting us from c19.

Forest Park is largely vacant at this point. Though the pool and other facilities are closed for now, the paths & trails are open, the acres of fields of grass are green and empty, the wildlife in the forest are still there, the somewhat long trek to the beach is waiting for hikers, and is a wonderful place to relax and breath deeply.

This park really has everything you could ask for. They have a swim center, sports courts (tennis, basketball, etc), splash pad and playground for the kids, seasonal petting zoo, horseshoe pits, lots of well maintained wooded trails, Halls that can be rented, picnic shelters for rent, and probably more that Im forgetting lol Its beautiful all year long, and can get crowded, especially in the summer. Ive been visiting this park since I was little and still enjoy it. There are public restrooms here as well. I hosted an event here many years ago and had to get here early to reserve enough picnic tables for my large crowd since you cannot reserve the tables ahead of time, but it was easy to host my large event since there is a large grassy field for everyone to spread out.

There are quite a few vagrants in the park and one had even set up a hammock alongside the trail. Wouldnt recommend walking through the trails alone. There is no clear trailhead and it has multiple forks throught with no clear markings and no real purpose (like a maze) so its easy to go in circles. They tried to mark some of the trail, but you will want to find the map located behind the covered picnic tables near the north side of the parking lot.The trail will dump you onto multiple access roads but you will need to cross those roads and search for the continuation of the trail. Note, these arent straight across from each other and most arent marked. This is more of an extention of the park that can give people there something extra to do but is not good for those that want a trail to hike or walk.

Forest park is one of the best parks I know of! Not just in Everett but anywhere. Its got lots of things to do year round. If its snowing it is the place to be bc of a huge, rather steep hill on one side of it, with a grassy field at the bottom so its super safe and fun!In the summer it has a water park. Not a big one but sort of a sprinkler park that covers part of the playground area. Its busy, busy, busy in summertime! Bring towels! And water socks are also a good idea so you dont get stubbed toes. The playground itself is big and awesome. All the toys are well maintained and theres a lot of them of all different sorts n sizes. Toys for the littles and toys for the bigs.It has a tennis court, a basket court, and place for roller hockey. Its got an indoor pool for all where everyone can swim for a nominal fee. And theres a rope swing over it thats a lot of fun. Its got trails for walking & bike riding. And its also got an animal park & petting zoo that accepts donations. The petting zoo is only open 3 mos in the summer. Check their website for specific dates n times. And also dont forget to donate! Bc I hear it may close permanently otherwise, due to lack of funding. Which would be a big bummer and huge loss. Bc its really great! Its got llamas, alpaca, bunnies, chickens, pigs n free-roaming goats, to name a few. Its got a big, grumpy turkey that really stares you down. Hes my favorite. And they also do horse and pony rides.Lastly, its got a hall you can rent for events like weddings. Theres lots of space for BBQs (which are allowed) and tables and a few covered spaces for birthdays and family gatherings.Parking is easy, free, and adequate... although you may have to walk a bit, as it does get busy as the weather warms up. Its a wonderful place for kids & families. 5/5 stars!

Forest Park is a gem which sits atop a forested hill near downtown Everett. Great place to go when you want to escape the town and hang out in the old growth cedar forest. The Forest Park swimming pool is a great indoor community pool. The rentable Floral Hall is a classy old lodge that is great for gatherings (Party with friends in the forest!). Lots of kids on the playground. The 197 acre park is mostly forest and trails with less emphasis on parking and grassy fields. The hill that Forest Park is on gets a pretty steady breeze off of Port Gardner Bay. Nice in the summer. Disability access is pretty much restricted to the park buildings and parking lots. Forest trails are not wheelchair accessible. Your on a little mountain.

This park is fun and beautiful. there are sport courts, picnic tables, covered seating and tables, a huge playground and a big fun interactive water park. around all this is a quaint little petting zoo and a changing level hiking trail system all the way around. I do think the trails could use a bit of maintenance as theres a few spots of eroded ground as well as some not so safe for some spots along the trail and it could use better trail marking as theres usually someone or a few people lost on the trail once it reaches the road.

They have trails that you can walk through or walk your dog. This park is huge!!!...they have something for everyone...not only did we have my daughters birthday party there, but I noticed five other people having their childs birthday parties as well. And in no way shape or form was it crowded for all of us whatsoever... the only downfall was that their covered area was already reserved and its a little bit pricey to reserve it. Also you have to reserve it months in advance because its so popular... but despite that it still gets a five-star all around

Best park in Snohomish county, a beautiful mix of cultural and heritage, so many children from different background, race and culture playing together, blending culture in a way only children ignorant to the man made bigotry invented by adults. Its so beautiful to watch my child play with other children from different countries and ethnicities, many of these children dont speak the same language yet find in play way to converse. Me and my wife sat with two Mexican American imagrint women and through broken English and Spanish found SO many similarities of our 8 year old daughters, the mother of this child even put the most beautiful braids in my daughters hair and marvelled at how gorgeous my daughter was even though her daughter could have been a model herself. This park has an amazing amount structure and toys as well as a full size water/sprinkler park for the children to run around and threw in the summer, as well as a petting zoo open to anyone free at certain times of the year, there is also a inside pay to use public pool, again Im not sure of the hours or months it is open. But from dusk to dawn this is an amazing park equipped with basketball ball hoops and a tennis court as well as a soccer field. If you want to see a multicultural soup of people of all ages having fun and getting along with ZERO gang or drug drama this is the place to bring your any age children :)
